C6 Guy Might
A month had quietly passed.
Every day after school, Tenno would take Tiantian to Konoha's training grounds to practice Body Technique and Shuriken Technique with Lee Rock.
In that time, Tenno's strength had surged remarkably. His accuracy with kunai was improving steadily.
He was quite pleased with his training progress over this period.
He figured that in another week, his shuriken would hit their mark with unerring precision!
Just then, the voice of the system echoed in his ears once more.
"[Mission Issued: You must sell any one Kunai (Clone Kunai, Substitute Kunai, Transformation Kunai) for no less than 1000 taels.]"
"[System Reward: Primary Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi blueprint!]"
Tenno wondered, "Another mission from the system? But I haven't finished the last one yet. Could it just disappear on its own?"
He felt a surge of anxiety.
The storage space in the Storage Ring was crucial to him at the moment.
He quickly accessed the system panel.
Relief washed over him when he saw the previous, incomplete mission still listed in the system's mission log.
Thankfully, the system's issuance of a new mission didn't mean the previous one vanished.
With a sigh of relief, Tenno turned his attention to the details of the new mission.
He furrowed his brow.
Was he supposed to sell one of the ninja tools he had crafted?
The idea of selling ninja tools had never crossed Tenno's mind before.
For one thing, his family was not in need of money. For another, revealing his ninja tools too soon could attract unwanted complications.
He was always on guard.
Aside from Tiantian, he hadn't shown the ninja tools he'd forged even to his close friend, Lee Rock.
That's why he was so desperate to get his hands on the blueprint for the storage ring.
With it, he could keep all his crafted ninja tools out of sight.
But now, to complete this mission, he had to find the right moment to sell a kunai.
The allure of the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi was irresistible!
After all, the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi was considered one of the finest artifacts in the world!
However, this matter couldn't be rushed.
He chose to set the mission aside for now and wait for the opportune moment.
His immediate concern was to keep honing his Shuriken Technique.
A week later, at Konoha's training grounds, Tenno simultaneously launched six Kunai, each striking a different target.
"All of them hit their mark!" Tiantian exclaimed excitedly, "Big brother, you're incredible!"
Tenno allowed himself a small, satisfied smile.
After a month of dedicated training, he had finally achieved his goal!
The system announced: "Mission complete!"
"System Reward: Primary storage ring forging blueprint has been distributed!"
Lee Rock marveled, "Tenno, you're progressing so quickly!"
Watching Tenno improve each day, Lee Rock's eyes sparkled with a hint of envy and a surge of inspiration.
A fierce determination ignited within him.
He clenched his fists, leapt to his feet, and roared, "I've got to step up my game!"
"With Tenno's talent and his dedication, I can't afford to slack off!"
"I'm doubling my training today! I'll do a thousand jump ropes! And if I can't manage that, I'll do two thousand push-ups instead."
A burst of applause suddenly filled the air.
Along with it, a robust male voice echoed from a distance.
"Not bad at all, young man. That's the spirit we need in youth!"
Lee Rock, momentarily taken aback, called out, "Who's there?"
Just then, a whirlwind whisked by, and a man in a green tracksuit materialized beside Lee Rock.
Tenno and Tiantian, pausing their Shuriken practice, turned their attention to the newcomer.
Tenno immediately recognized him.
It was none other than Guy Might, the original's Blue Vicious Beast!
"You've got a lot of drive, young man!" Guy Might boomed, laughing as he clapped Lee Rock on the shoulder, his gaze filled with a mix of respect and appreciation.
"Keep up the hard work, and you're bound to become a formidable ninja one day!"
Lee Rock, thrilled, asked, "Really?"
Guy Might nodded affirmatively, "Absolutely! Young man, let's embark on this journey of training together!"
"Let's do this together," Lee Rock said, his heart swelling with fervor.
At that moment, Tenno strolled up, exuding a calm confidence, and remarked, "Senior, if you need to use our training ground, just ask."
"Tenno, what are you getting at?" Lee Rock asked, clearly puzzled.
Guy Might was terrible at deception. Once Tenno caught on to his true intentions, Guy Might's face flushed with embarrassment.
Scratching his head, Guy Might admitted, "All the training grounds are booked today, and yours is quite spacious. I was hoping to borrow it."
He simply hadn't been able to find an available training ground.
Lee Rock didn't dwell on the issue. He was about to extend an invitation to Guy Might to join their session when Tenno, with a knowing smile, cut in. Turning to Guy Might, he proposed, "We can spare part of our training ground for you. In return, how about you lead us in our training?"
Guy Might was exceptionally strong. He had mastered the Death Gate and could execute the formidable Body Technique known as Dynasty Peacock. This technique involved generating flames by rapidly rubbing the air, using both the flames and the resulting shockwaves to deliver a relentless assault on his opponent. Few in the Ninja World could endure such a powerful strike.
Tenno, too, aspired to master the Eight Directions Hidden Gates, a Body Technique so formidable it was rated as an S-level Ninjutsu. As he honed his Shuriken Technique, he uncovered a vital principle. Looking ahead, he knew that beyond mastering mightier weapons, he must also focus on enhancing his physical prowess and Body Technique training. Only with superior physical conditioning could he fully harness the power of the weapons he wielded.
