C20 Hunting and Preparing
Arslan, who was riding on the Armored Dragon, was in the limelight. Everyone in the tribe saw the young man riding on the dragon as if he was a god.
Alona, who was sitting behind him, was also extremely excited.
When they arrived at the wall of the firethorn, Arslan patted the dragon's neck and motioned for it to put him down. Then, he snored at it. The dragon looked left and right, then laid down beside the wall of the firethorn and stopped moving.
"Arslan, big brother!" Alona's face was still filled with excitement. "Why is it lying down here?"
"Yes!" Arslan said with a smile, "This Earth Dragon has a deterring effect on the wild beasts in the forest. With it around, the tribe will be much safer!"
"Is that so?" Alona tilted her head and thought for a while. Her beautiful eyes were filled with curiosity. "But what does it want to eat? It can't just stay here all the time, right?"
"That's easy! Doesn't it like grass? Then just find someone to deliver grass and leaves to it!" Arslan paused for a moment and said, "Right, also build a shed for it!"
"What is a shed?" Alona did not understand.
"Er, the house for the Earth Dragon!" Arslan explained.
He immediately called for Popit and Mull to find more than a dozen people to cut trees and grass.
In less than an hour under Arslan's command, a shed that was suitable for a dragon laid out.
There was also hay in the shed.
The people in the tribe who were watching from the side exclaimed, "Everyone, look! This Earth Dragon is actually living in a straw house!"
Alona's eyes widened as she asked curiously, "Brother Arslan, you are going to live in a straw house for it?"
"Hmm?" Arslan shook his head, "This is not a house, but a shed. It is for the Earth Dragon to live in. It is different from Grandpa's straw house."
"But why do I feel like it lives better than Grandpa?" The little girl blinked her eyes and said naughtily.
Arslan knew that it was a careless remark, but when he turned to look at the others' reactions, he understood and said with a smile, "Don't worry, we will be living much better than this place! We will build many big houses!"
"Really?" Alona's eyes lit up as she looked at Arslan with stars in her eyes.
"Of course!" Arslan said with a smile, "In the future, everyone in our tribe will have a house like Grandpa's, or even better!"
"Oh, oh, oh!" The people around them were shocked and cheered.
Arslan said again, "Right now, we are only covering the earth dragon with straw sheds. We will soon have even more straw sheds and more wild beasts!"
"Ah?" Alona was stunned. She looked at Arslan in disbelief, "We don't even have enough food to eat right now. Why are we still feeding them?"
"It's not enough now, but it doesn't mean that it won't be enough in the future!" Arslan said confidently, "Don't worry, from tomorrow onwards, we will go and catch more wild beasts and obtain more food!"
As he spoke, his heart skipped a beat. He immediately called for Popit and Mull, "You two come over. Everyone else, disperse!"
Thus, everyone left, leaving only Arslan, Mull, and the others.
"Alona, go and help your aunt!" Popit instructed.
"Yes, Father!" Alona looked at Arslan reluctantly, turned around and left.
"Arslan!" Popit and Mull looked at him with respect.
It was not up to them not to do so. The Earth Dragon that they had been struggling for so long was easily subdued by Arslan. Now, the image of Arslan in their hearts had risen once again.
"Hunting team, are you going to hunt again tomorrow?"
"Yes!" Mull replied respectfully.
"Where are we going? What are we going to catch?" Arslan asked.
"I haven't thought about it yet …" Mull replied honestly.
"How can we do this?" Arslan shook his head, "There is no plan at all. We won't be able to catch much prey like this!"
"Plan?" Mull was puzzled.
"I am ready!" Arslan sighed in his heart and shook his head, "Since you want to hunt, you have to first figure out where there are prey, what kind of prey, and how to catch them!"
Mull was dumbfounded. He had never thought about Arslan's question.
Seeing that, Arslan did not pursue the matter any further. He nodded and said, "Don't go too far this time. There are already preys nearby!"
"There are?" Mull was stunned for a moment before he shook his head. "Arslan, Grand Sheikh, the sheep in the forest are too cunning. We can't catch them at all!"
"Can't catch him?" Arslan shook his head, "That's because the previous method is useless!"
"Method?" Mull was stunned. After thinking carefully, his eyes lit up. "You mean you have a method?"
"Yes!" Arslan nodded and said with a smile, "We won't be able to catch Lin Yangchou. In that case, let them come to us!"
"Let the sheep run by themselves?" Mull was surprised. "How is that possible?"
"How can it be impossible?" Arslan shook his head with a smile. "This time, I will set up a trap for you and then catch the sheep!"
"Trap?" Popit and Mull looked at each other with puzzled expressions. "What is that?"
Arslan smiled mysteriously, "You'll know when we catch the sheep tomorrow!"
"Now, it's time for us to prepare something!"
"Prepare something? What is it?"
"Salt water!"
