C11 Phantom fighting

Having made up my mind, I tried even harder to attract its attention.

Although ghosts had retained the memories of their previous lives, they were essentially just a bunch of obsession. Their IQ was obviously not as good as humans.

Taking advantage of its distraction, I thrust my sword at the middle of the face. Instantly, a puff of charred smoke rose, and the screaming female ghost flew away. The clotted black hair looked like a canvas that had been pulled apart.

Broken limbs, severed arms, and a mouth wide open rushed at me, followed by a hideous head screaming. I cut off an arm with my sword, rushed to the side of the formation, tore a hole in the red rope, and drilled in. The female ghost, who didn't have the time to stop the brakes, rushed in and was immediately burnt by the intense masculine energy in the array. I screamed out miserably, but when I wanted to leave, I had already let go.

"I've finally trapped you!" I spit hard and slipped out of the red rope.

The Five Emperors Money shook violently, and the red ropes automatically rotated one by one. The charging ghost lady looked as if she was trapped in a glass box, unable to get to the bottom of the world. It didn't take long before its cries became weaker, its limbs rotting even more. One of its eyes felt like it was about to pus out of its eye sockets.

As soon as his nervousness disappeared, the pain in his body immediately swept through his brain. I grimaced and retreated to the Goddess's side. I took out the mirror she had confiscated and took a look at it. Apart from a large part of my cheek that had been torn off, there were five other wounds on my forearm and my waist.

Fortunately, this was the first battle after all. I've taken care of such a powerful ghost, this little injury is worth it.

Proudly straightening my spine, I raised my chin and looked down at the goddess. I didn't expect that the old woman wouldn't even look at me.

I was about to open my mouth when the old woman stopped me with a gesture and stared fixedly at a place. My breath caught in my throat, and my body tensed as I slowly followed her gaze.

With just one look, I almost cried out!

Yet another ghost had appeared!

Before I could react, the old woman had already quickly stuck an invisibility charm on me and stuffed two pieces of Yang Fire Charm into my hands. According to her stingy personality, she must have met some big trouble when she gave me the talisman. In other words, the one in front of him …

Swallowing my saliva, I stare at the transformed Eight Golden Lock Formations. From the moment the ghost appeared, the Five Emperors Money on the red rope stopped spinning. The ghost inside also stopped screaming and shrunk into a ball. I looked carefully at where the coin was and caught it in my throat.

Fierce Demon.

"When people are down on their luck, even drinking cold water would cause them to clench their teeth."

I don't know if this is for the old woman or for myself.

Our original intention was to probe the depths of ghosts. If they're too strong, then we'll go back and discuss our plans. Who knew that something unexpected would happen? Another ghost had appeared, and the one after that was a ruthless character. The eight Golden Lock Arrays that were originally meant to deal with it have been used by me to lock the first ghost. As for this one, I can only rely on the Goddess to subdue it.

"Old woman, what should we do?"

I didn't dare to speak, so I could only give the old woman a meaningful glance. I didn't know if she would be able to understand my two years of tacit understanding.

The old woman didn't react at all to my suggestion. She just stared at the ghost that followed. I turned my head and looked in the same direction, frustrated and helpless.

Beneath the moonlight, an azure-robed woman appeared. If it wasn't for the scene, he would have thought that she was just an ordinary girl.

Her appearance was delicate and pretty, and there was a hint of gentleness in her elegance. Looking at her clothes which were similar to those worn in the Qing Dynasty, it was obvious that she was a lady from an ancient clan. The woman was no more than sixteen or seventeen years old. She looked at me softly with her watery eyes and smiled. This laugh almost made me pee.

It's been at least several hundred years since I've last worn a set of clothes. Even if I mince her clothes, it wouldn't be enough for her to eat hundreds of years of evil spirits.

Wait a minute. I froze. She smiled at me? She smiled at me! She can see me!

My legs were so soft I could hear my teeth chattering. I tightly gripped the peach wood sword in my hand. I peeked at the Goddess who had a serious expression and couldn't help but become increasingly nervous.

"Little brother, your eyes are so beautiful."

The girl's clear and melodious voice was as pleasant as a bell. It was impossible to discern the sinister tone of her voice.

The more normal she acted, the more scared I became. With my single eyelid and small eyes, I wouldn't believe it even if I said that she was beautiful and deceiving a ghost. Could she have seen through my Yin Yang Eyes?

I was shocked and breathless, ready to strike her at any moment.

When the girl saw that I didn't say anything, she cutely tilted her head. "Are you scared?"

Afraid of your grandmother's legs!

Seeing that there was still no movement from the Goddess, I couldn't stand the pressure and charged forward first. The girl's expression didn't change as she smiled and casually swung out my attack. However, my move was just an illusion. While she was being tricked, I quickly stuck the Yang Fire Rune that the Goddess had just given me onto her body.

With a "hong" sound, the Yang Fire Talisman started to burn with raging flames as it was contaminated by Yin Qi.

The girl's expression changed drastically as she let out a long howl and retreated. The dense yin qi forcefully extinguished the flames, and her delicate and pretty face cracked open, causing blood to seep out from the cracks. However, after a while, her face was covered in blood and her clothes had turned into a mournful red dress as she stared at me with a pair of vicious eyes.

I took a deep breath, knowing it was getting on my nerves. After taking only half a step back, a strand of Miasma Qi pierced through his arm like a sharp sword. His wrist loosened and the peach wood sword fell to the ground with a clang.

At the same time, with a "peng" sound, a peach wood bead exploded in front of me. It was actually thrown by the Goddess just in time to block the attack in front of my heart. If it wasn't for her timely appearance, I wouldn't have simply injured my arm.

"Get back to the back."

The Goddess muttered an incantation and threw a handful of paper talismans at me. Using the protection of the talisman, I hastily ran to the back of the battle and kicked my peach wood sword to pick it up.

The female ghost was incomparably fierce, and the Goddess had a lot of cultivation experience.

Streams of yin aura rushed over like poisonous snakes. The Goddess threw out a string of peach wood beads and held the Eight Trigrams Mirror in her left hand. Golden light poured out and a visible yang energy rose up into the air. The heavy yin aura around the female ghost's body clashed with the yang aura, producing a sound akin to the collision of hot and cold water. At the same time, it howled and flew over with its bloody mouth wide open.

After following the Goddess for so many years, this is the first time I've seen such a fierce and cruel ghost. Just controlling Yin Qi was enough to kill, ordinary ghosts could not compare with her. Even though the Goddess seemed to be on par with her, I was still worried.

After studying Taoism for two years, I am the most self-aware of my abilities. No positive help. I can interfere from the side.

My eyes lit up when I caught sight of the eight golden locks at the side.

Due to the female ghost's interference, the ghost inside the formation did not disappear quickly. It was still curled up into a ball, but the remaining mana was insufficient to support it. All that was left of its limbs were turned into bones, and only half of its head was left, on the verge of death.
