C13 Moses's Visit
"That's impossible! If it were truly him, why wouldn't he step forward and instead admit that he lacks the necessary coaching credentials?"
Madison's face was a picture of disbelief as he challenged Moses' assertion.
"Vice President Madison! You need to grasp one thing: according to our country's regulations, every team's head coach must possess a coaching qualification issued by the Asian Football Confederation. The document clearly states that Lucian has obtained a professional coaching qualification from UEFA."
"While this is the highest level of coaching qualification internationally, it's not recognized domestically. Furthermore, do you expect a renowned coach, who has previously managed a top-tier league team, to now confess that he's coaching a high school football team in a small county town?"
Moses countered Madison's skepticism with relentless logic and evidence.
"I..."
Madison was at a loss for words, completely deflated by Moses' rebuttal.
"Let's move on with the meeting. I maintain my stance: despite Sandalwood School currently lacking a professional coach, they were eligible to compete at the time of registration, and therefore should retain their right to continue in the competition."
Moses spoke with deliberate emphasis on "professional coach," making his intentional stance clear to everyone.
With the room silent, and even Madison at a loss for words, Moses' sense of triumph grew.
"Since there are no further comments, let's put it to a vote. Those in favor of maintaining their eligibility to compete, please raise your hands."
No sooner had he spoken than hands went up all around, including those of Madison's reluctant supporters. After all, no one wanted to cross a celebrated international coach, especially one who was Visphenian and stood as the sole figure from Vispheno's national football team on the global stage.
"Well then, I hereby declare, after consultation with the provincial football association, that since Sandalwood School met all the requirements at the time of registration, they are permitted to continue in the competition."
Moses looked at Madison with a smile as he concluded.
"Unless Vice President Madison has any objections, this resolution will be formally announced."
Madison, seething with frustration at Moses' smug expression, left the meeting room without uttering a word.
Meanwhile, Central Television's Total Soccer program was busy planning a special feature. Within this show, there was a segment called "Absolute Superstar," dedicated to chronicling the rise of the world's most celebrated football stars.
Through this engaging segment, viewers can gain a comprehensive understanding of a football star's journey to fame. Owing to the unique nature of international football, the producers of each "Absolute Superstar" feature are able to infuse their own emotions and insights about the profiled star into the program.
This approach allows viewers to feel a deep connection with the program. Episodes such as "Warrior God" Baggio, "Born Goal Scorer" Vieri, and "Football's Lover" Baggio have resonated strongly with the audience.
"Absolute Superstar" has become one of the most beloved segments on "Total Soccer." However, it is not aired regularly. Previously, the segment focused solely on introducing the players.
