The BayArena was located in the North Rhine–Wurst-Fraunland of Germany. It was a North Rhine–Wurst-Fraunlen state stadium. Since the year 58, the BayArena had always been the home stadium of the German league's BayArena.

The original name of the stadium was Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion. It was opened in 1958, and it was named the Haberland-Stadion by the former chairman of the Bayer company
