C13 Fusion

At this moment, within Qin Yu's meridians, the scarlet aura transformed into a series of blazing infernos, launching a ferocious assault toward the white aura, much like an unstoppable tiger descending the mountain.

The white aura quickly assumed a defensive posture, coalescing into a sphere before intertwining with Qin Yu's scarlet aura.

As the two auras entwined, they began to clash wildly within Qin Yu's body. Soon, they inflicted numerous scars upon his meridians. Accompanying this internal battle, a woman's piercing cries echoed, and Qin Yu's fists relentlessly pounded the ground. In short order, he had created a vast crater in the ancient icy terrain, sending shards scattering in every direction.

The battle between the scarlet and white auras in Qin Yu's body grew increasingly fierce, causing the crimson pupil on his forehead to contort bizarrely, signaling that both auras were pushing the limits of their power.

Eventually, the scarlet and white auras within Qin Yu's body enveloped each other completely, the red streaked with white, the white streaked with red, nearly merging into a single entity.

"No, no!" The woman's agonized voice burst forth from within Qin Yu, reverberating painfully within the confines of the small ice cave.

As her voice gradually subsided, Qin Yu's eyes bulged, and with a sudden jerk of his head, the scarlet pupil on his forehead pulsated as if alive. He then unleashed a thunderous roar and slammed his fists into the ground with such force that he cracked the surface. The fissures spread and intersected, ultimately causing the entire ice cave to splinter apart as chunks of ice plummeted down.

Now, the scarlet and white auras within Qin Yu had fully integrated, slowly diffusing and transforming into streams of energy that coursed through his meridians. They converged towards his dantian, where the gathering energy swelled, leaving Qin Yu with an intense sensation of expansion and pain in his lower abdomen.

Finally, the streams of air could no longer converge within the dantian and were forced to retreat back into Qin Yu's meridians, circulating endlessly. With each pass through Qin Yu's meridians, his damaged pathways visibly healed at an astonishing rate. Within a few cycles, the meridians were fully restored, even stronger than before.

The aura was so potent that, after revitalizing the dantian and mending the meridians, there was still an abundance left over. Eventually, it broke free from Qin Yu's meridians and gradually infused itself into his flesh and bones.

Half an hour later, the aura had fully integrated into Qin Yu's body. He remained kneeling, head bowed, for a long time before he slowly rose to his feet, lifting his head to reveal a face brimming with joy.

"My pulse, it's returned, it's really back!" Qin Yu touched his wrist, staring at his body in disbelief. This was a moment he had dreamt of countless times, never imagining it would one day become reality. Qin Yu, from this day forward, was a normal person capable of cultivation!

After basking in his joy for a while, Qin Yu gradually composed himself. He glanced at the crystal coffin and noticed the woman still lying there peacefully. The mysterious allure she once held over him had vanished. Qin Yu surmised it must have been the departure of the white aura that had driven his intense attraction to her.

With a slight shake of his head, Qin Yu stepped forward, took hold of the coffin lid, and gently placed it back over the crystal coffin. He recalled the white aura's words within him, its intent to devour his soul and claim his body. It occurred to him that the woman in the coffin might have suffered the same fate years ago, her soul consumed and her body taken over by the white aura—a truly pitiful soul.

With a soft sigh, after securing the coffin lid, Qin Yu surveyed the chaos around him, noting the cracks that marred the area, likely his own doing. Looking up at the hole he had fallen through, his eyes narrowed, and with a slight exertion of force, he began to climb back towards the opening.

After exerting considerable effort, Qin Yu finally emerged from the pile of rubble. He looked up at the sky, where stars twinkled intermittently, and in the distance, a full moon hung high, its cold light already bathing the world below. A breeze, tinged with a note of melancholy, swept by, and it was then that Qin Yu realized he had been trapped in the cave for a whole day.

Inhaling deeply, he savored the air, fragrant with the scent of grass and trees, and shook his head to clear the lingering grogginess. With purposeful strides, he moved forward. The late hour was to his advantage; the disciples from the Clear Essence Sect who had been searching for him would have likely returned by now, making his journey much simpler.

Before long, Qin Yu entered a dense forest. His stomach growled in protest as he walked; he hadn't eaten anything since the previous night and was now truly famished. Closing his eyes, he tuned into the rustling of the forest, and after a moment, he sprang into action, darting into the underbrush. In an instant, he reappeared, holding a lively wild rabbit.

"I never imagined my strength would have increased this much," Qin Yu murmured, examining the rabbit in his hands. Truthfully, he wasn't sure of his current level of strength, but he surmised that he had reached at least Body Tempering Stage Level Five.

The thought of being able to cultivate like a normal person filled Qin Yu with joy. Without wasting any more time, he prepared the rabbit and set up a spit over a fire he had made in the forest. The dim forest was now touched with the warmth of the firelight. Qin Yu rotated the spit slowly, and as the flames licked the meat, a thin layer of fat began to render, turning the rabbit a golden brown. Soon, the enticing aroma wafted through the air, stirring the appetite of anyone nearby.
