C1 Lazy People’s Special Hacker

"Unbelievable, I've actually been reborn!"

Upon opening his eyes, Han Feng was astounded to find himself soul-transferred to another world. Memories flooded his mind like a relentless tide, overwhelming his senses. This planet, strikingly similar to Earth's civilization, was known as Bluestar. A century ago, legions of Demonic Beasts had swarmed through spatial rifts, ravaging the land and mercilessly slaughtering humans. Eighty percent of humanity fell prey to these beasts, meeting untimely ends.

In humanity's darkest hour, a subset of individuals awakened a mysterious power to tame the Demonic Beasts. They became known as Beastmasters, and their emergence offered a glimmer of hope for survival. Over a hundred years, these valiant Beastmasters, through sheer force of will and sacrifice, safeguarded human peace and devised a method for anyone to wield control over the beasts—the 'spiritual contract.' Thus, the dawn of the Beastmaster era was ushered in!

The young man whose body Han Feng now inhabited bore his name. Sixteen and residing in the fortified city of L City, he shared the common dream of his peers—to ascend to the ranks of elite Beastmasters, a goal he pursued with relentless determination. Orphaned by the war, he eked out an existence on government aid.

"You're both pitiful and pathetic," Han Feng muttered to his reflection, peeling back the tattered quilt and confronting the mirror. His frail frame was a patchwork of fresh and fading bruises. The memories informed him that the body's original owner was a low-tier student at the Hunting School, an institution founded seventy years prior to combat the Demonic Beasts, divided into four levels: A, B, C, and D.

To become a Beastmaster, one had to enroll in the Hunting School, survive a year in the D tier, and pass a rigorous examination. Success meant advancement and the chance to become a certified Beastmaster. Failure, however, meant expulsion and relegation to society's other professions.

Lacking money, connections, and talent, the body's former owner was a prime target for bullies at school. Beatings were routine. Just before Han Feng's arrival, the boy had been brutally assaulted over a trivial dispute.

"I refuse to let anyone bully me again," Han Feng vowed, his fists clenched, eyes burning with resolve.

"Meh~ Meh~" A peculiar bleat interrupted his thoughts. Turning, he saw a white alpaca clumsily emerge from beneath the bed. It yawned lazily before ambling over to Han Feng, mouth agape, clearly expecting to be fed.

"Great, this is my only spiritual beast?" Han Feng sighed in resignation. He recalled picking up the alpaca as a stray and, due to financial constraints, forming a spiritual contract with it rather than purchasing a proper beast. This decision had turned him into the butt of jokes at school—while some impoverished folks did bond with ordinary animals, they at least chose creatures like wolves or dogs. An alpaca as a spiritual beast was unheard of and laughable.

Like its former master, the alpaca was timid and easily frightened. Nearly a year at the school, and it had yet to engage in battle, always cowering behind its master, defeated before the fight even began, further cementing their status as the school's jest.

"You're useless! All you do is eat! I have nothing to eat, so why bother begging with your mouth wide open? Just get out!" Han Feng grumbled, dismissing the alpaca, which promptly spat in his face in a fit of pique.

"Rebellious little thing, aren't you?" he snapped, rolling up his sleeves for a confrontation when suddenly, a comforting voice echoed in his mind.

"Magical Pet Evolution System now binding..."

"Binding complete!"

A chime sounded, and a holographic screen materialized before Han Feng, scrolling with text.

"Transmigration's essential golden finger?" He was initially taken aback, then ecstatic. He focused on the screen, which displayed the alpaca's stats:

Owner: Han Feng.

Spiritual Beast Name: Naive Alpaca.

Quality: Ordinary.

Level: 3.

Status: Hungry (Morose).

Skills: 1. Saliva Barrage 2. Battle Flee.

"What a useless creature," Han Feng muttered, his frustration mounting. The alpaca's low quality and level were bad enough, but it lacked even a single practical skill. Essentially, it was akin to an online troll—good for nothing but spitting and fleeing.

Below the stats, an experience bar read 50/100. Simultaneously, the system chimed in:

"Consumption of apple successful, experience +1."

"Consumption of banana successful, experience +1."

Han Feng glanced over to see the alpaca brazenly pilfering his meager food supply.

Forget it, it's just a few pieces of fruit. If it wants to eat, let it eat. I'm not going to stoop to its level.

"Lazy trait acquired from Han Feng. Experience +10."

Huh?

Upon hearing the new system alert, Han Feng was left in a state of confusion.

Could it be that, in addition to eating, absorbing lazy trait could also boost experience points?

To test his theory, Han Feng flopped onto the bed, muttering, "I just woke up and I'm feeling a bit tired. I need to rest a bit longer."

"Lazy trait acquired from Han Feng. EXP +50."

Holy smokes, it worked!

Brilliant! I've never met anyone who could out-lazy me, Han Feng. This system seems like it was custom-made for me.

For the remainder of the day, Han Feng did absolutely nothing. He simply lay on his bed, gazing blankly at the ceiling.

He didn't bother taking off his shoes—too lazy.

Hungry? Too lazy to cook.

Why stay motionless? Turning over required effort, and he was too lazy for that.

"Lazy trait acquired from Han Feng. Experience +50."

"Lazy trait acquired from Han Feng. Experience +100."

Eventually, he couldn't hold it any longer and got up to use the restroom.

He checked his experience bar, which had jumped from 50/100 to 3700/100.

There was an option to manually upgrade behind the experience bar.

With a quick thought, Han Feng tapped furiously.

The alpaca's level shot up from 3 to 12.

After hitting Level 10, the experience needed to level up increased from 100 to 1000.

With 1000 experience points remaining, Han Feng used them to enhance the alpaca's quality.

Upon reopening the spirit beast's data, he saw a dramatic transformation.

Host: Han Feng

Spirit Beast Name: Violent Ironclad Alpaca

Quality: Excellent

Level: 12

Status: Excited

Skill 1: Sweeping the Seven Armies, instantly releasing a torrent of saliva that weakens anyone hit for five seconds within a ten-meter radius.

Skill 2: Wild Roar, boosts morale with a paralyzing effect, and has a chance to render targets immobile.

Skill 3: Protective Qi, generates a spiky iron aura for defense, mitigating 30% of incoming damage with a 10% chance to reflect it.

Incredible!

Han Feng was so thrilled he leaped a good three feet off the ground.

The higher the level and quality of a spirit beast, the more formidable its skills.

Without any resources, the previous owner had struggled for nearly a year to raise it just three levels.

Yet, with the help of the system, he had revolutionized it in mere hours.

Post-evolution, the alpaca's demeanor had undergone a radical shift—gone was the meekness, replaced by the commanding presence of a true powerhouse.

It's undeniable—having a cheat code is phenomenal.

It looks like my time, Han Feng's era, is on the horizon...
