C10 Young Master Wang's Eyelids Twitched a Little.!

Chapter Ten: Young Master Wang's Eyelids Are Twitching!

At this moment, within an office building in Hancheng, a youthful-looking young man lounged in a recliner, idly spinning a teacup in his hand. A wistful longing colored his gaze, as though he were savoring a distant memory, and he seemed momentarily lost in thought.

"Who could that person be, to best even my master?" he mused. "A scion of an ancient family, perhaps?"

Confusion clouded the young man's eyes. His own lineage was nothing short of remarkable in Hancheng. He had encountered descendants of venerable families before—true eccentrics—but the number who could surpass his master were exceedingly rare, and none were his age in all of Hua Xia, let alone the world. This was the enigma that baffled him the most. Could anyone his age truly achieve an A-class level or higher? The answer was an emphatic no. Yang Chen was the exception, a glitch in the system, playing by different rules than ordinary folk.

Yet, he had seen it with his own eyes: his master, Wild Wolf, defeated by a single punch from that man.

The young man fell silent. Born into a prominent business family in Hancheng, he was a direct descendant. With the resurgence of spiritual energy, his talent as an Ability User flourished under Wild Wolf's tutelage, elevating his family status. He now wielded full control over his family's power.

Recently, he had been busy undermining the influence of other direct descendants, consolidating their assets for his own ambitions to dominate the family. But since his return from No.98, after witnessing such formidable strength, his appetite for wealth had waned. It all seemed so bland. With power, everything else followed; there was no need for the tiresome game of suppression.

If only he could match his master's prowess, his family would rally to his call without hesitation. But perplexingly, since his return from No.98, his eyelids had begun to twitch with unusual frequency—a peculiar ailment for an Ability User.

Left eye twitching signaled romance; right eye twitching, misfortune. His right eyelid's persistent twitch suggested trouble brewing.

Just then, a series of urgent knocks interrupted his thoughts.

"Come in!" he called out, despite the irritation creasing his brow.

The door swung open to reveal a burly man, his demeanor one of abject deference mixed with deep admiration. "Young Master Wang!" he greeted, though the young master's response was tinged with annoyance.

"What's the matter? Didn't I say not to disturb me unless it's urgent?"

The strong man's frame tensed, sweat beading on his brow. "Young... Young Master, someone's obstructing our takeover of the Second Miss's shop!"

The young man knew the gravity of his presence; despite his youth, his methods were ruthless. As an Ability User, his actions went unquestioned, and his C-class status was not to be trifled with.

"Why not just beat them and be done with it? Why bother me with this?"

He was genuinely irked by the pettiness of ordinary people, who complicated matters that fists could easily resolve. Did they think he had nothing better to do?

"But the other party is also an Ability User," the strong man ventured.

"Oh?" Interest piqued, the young master's playful smirk returned. "And you mentioned my name?"

"I did, but..." The strong man hesitated, then continued cautiously, "But it seems they don't regard you highly."

The young master's interest deepened. "Well, well, only the old-timers in No.98 dare to overlook me. How intriguing. Take me to them."

"Who is this person?" he inquired, still smiling.

Bowing deeply, the strong man replied, "I'm not entirely sure, sir, but from his attire, he appears to come from an ordinary family. He's quite young, though."

The young man's eyes narrowed thoughtfully at the mention of youth.

He had a particular sensitivity to that term!

The one who had bested his master was a young man too, wasn't he?

Suddenly, the young man's gaze darted about anxiously. Could it possibly be him?

"But dressed in rags?"

The young man voiced his doubt.

The burly man was bewildered as he looked at his young master. It was just an Ability User, so why such an intense reaction?

Keep in mind, even when a B-level Ability User had caused trouble for their family not long ago, his young master hadn't been nearly as unnerved!

What was it about this young man that set him on edge?

"No, it's a young man dressed in casual wear!"

The burly man paused to think, then added.

Young Master Wang let out a relieved breath and a wry smile crept onto his face.

"If it were him, not even my master could handle the situation. Let it go, take me to him. I'll sort this out!"

Ultimately, Young Master Wang decided he needed to handle this in person. If it truly was that individual, he'd be willing to part with some wealth to ensure a solid rapport. And if not, the solution was simple: eliminate the man!

He had experience dealing with Ability Users before, after all.

Later, he could leverage his influence within No.98 to erase any evidence!

Young Master Wang's spirits lifted slightly at the thought.

As long as it wasn't him, all would be well!

Beyond that, there was nothing left to fear!
