C6 Yang Chen Fought Against Wild Wolf!

Chapter Six: Yang Chen Versus Wild Wolf!

Yang Chen couldn't help but chuckle.

"Forget it, I'm not interested in your spot. But if I win, you owe me a favor," he said nonchalantly, brushing aside Wild Wolf's earlier attempt to bait him with a counter-offer of his own.

Wild Wolf's expression hardened as he took in Yang Chen's demeanor, his initial favorable impression diminishing by the second.

Such arrogance!

Even with considerable strength, this level of arrogance was uncalled for!

He was Hancheng's top dog, a respected A-class Ability User. And this man had the audacity to think he could take him down? Especially when he, an AJI Ability User, had dispatched numerous A-class adversaries from abroad!

Wild Wolf's eyes squinted, a sly grin spreading across his face.

"Defeat me? If you can pull that off, I won't just grant you one favor—I'll grant you three!"

Yang Chen's eyes flickered with resolve as he strode into the designated area, standing his ground. He lifted his chin, regarding Wild Wolf with a defiant tilt of his head, and uttered a single word, "Begin."

"Damn, who is this guy? So full of himself. He's actually challenging the leader. Does he have a death wish?"

"Learning to flirt with death at such a young age isn't a good thing!"

Yang Chen's bold stance stirred the emotions of the surrounding No.98 Ability Users, who watched him with a mix of outrage and anticipation.

They were convinced that Yang Chen was about to receive a brutal lesson from Wild Wolf.

After all, in No.98, Wild Wolf was the embodiment of terror!

With a commanding gesture, Wild Wolf silenced the murmurs of the incensed Ability Users. His gaze locked onto Yang Chen with predatory focus, his eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty and ominous light.

He stripped off his shirt and tossed it aside, revealing a physique as solid as forged steel. Some female Ability Users couldn't help but blush at the sight of Wild Wolf's impeccable form, stealing glances his way despite their embarrassment.

But Wild Wolf paid them no mind, his presence exuding an aura so chilling that the entire area seemed to plunge into an icy tundra.

The weaker Ability Users shivered with goosebumps, while only those of D-class or higher could withstand the oppressive atmosphere and remain focused on the impending clash.

Clearly, the weak didn't even deserve to witness the fight.

From afar, Yang Chen's eyes narrowed, his clothes in tatters, yet he stood as if naturally part of the environment, his aura solidifying around him.

Wild Wolf noticed a subtle shift in Yang Chen's presence.

Yang Chen's silhouette seemed to grow more formidable by the second, his aura intensifying. The others might not sense it, but Wild Wolf, a top-tier A-class Ability User, felt it acutely.

Yang Chen appeared to become one with the surroundings, eluding Wild Wolf's attempts to lock onto his aura.

A single term burst forth in Wild Wolf's mind: Grandmaster!

To perceive and harmonize with the heavens and earth, to wield their power—this was the hallmark of a Grandmaster's might!

The young man before him was displaying abilities akin to those of a Grandmaster. Although he seemed somewhat inexperienced compared to the Grandmasters Wild Wolf had encountered, his potential was unmistakable and monstrous.

Wild Wolf's thoughts raced back to Yang Chen's identity. How could a mere scavenger achieve such prowess at such a young age? Even the ancient noble families of the bygone era could hardly produce such a prodigy!

But before Wild Wolf could further ponder, Yang Chen was already in motion!

With a slight shift, Yang Chen left a trail of afterimages across the arena, as if multiple versions of himself had manifested simultaneously, leaving Wild Wolf struggling to pinpoint his actual location.

"So fast!" Wild Wolf's heart skipped a beat, a sheen of sweat forming on his brow.

Regret washed over him. Such spectral speed was something even Jiangnan's S-rank overseer might struggle to match!

Wild Wolf realized the folly of his earlier bravado—a mere A-rank boasting before someone who might well be a Grandmaster!

Yet, despite the realization, Wild Wolf refused to concede. As a soldier of Hua Xia, surrender was not an option!

Boom!

A thunderous sound erupted from within Wild Wolf as his body shimmered with a metallic sheen, transforming into a veritable steel fortress.

This was his ability: Metalization!

He could turn any part of his body into metal, and now, he could envelop his entire form in this metallic defense.

Once, this power had allowed Wild Wolf to endure a harrowing half-hour chase by a North European S-rank Ability User.

Now, facing the phantom-like Yang Chen, Wild Wolf intended to leverage his formidable defense to buy time.

To Wild Wolf, Yang Chen was a man of considerable intellect. He figured that if he could just hold out for ten minutes, a subtle cue to Yang Chen would be enough to ensure his undefeated status in the presence of his followers.

But as this plan began to take shape in his mind, Wild Wolf caught sight of an enormous fist growing larger and larger in his vision.

The air around him seemed to rip apart, the force of it stinging his skin!

Then, with a deceptive lightness, the fist made contact with his body.

Boom!

A terrifying force erupted through Wild Wolf, overwhelming even his metal-hardened frame, leaving him vulnerable to the gale.

In a matter of seconds, the arena was engulfed in billowing smoke, obscuring the sight of all those present.
