C7 Gluttony Blood Scripture

Its power was immense, rivaling that of dragons, vermillion birds, and other mythological creatures. It belonged to the same tier of formidable beings.

The Gluttony Blood Scripture was a legacy cultivation method of the ancient and fearsome Gluttony clan, a technique that only those of pure Gluttony blood were worthy to practice.

By slaying any creature, one could harvest spiritual energy from it to enhance oneself. This was the true essence of the Gluttony Blood Scripture.

In an instant, Ning Gao found himself back in his small cabin.

Seated on the bed, he was soaked in sweat.

At last, he had a clear understanding of the extraordinary events that had befallen him.

Beneath the Redmire Mountains lay an ancient ruin, and it was there that he had encountered the white light of a pure-blooded Gluttony.

It seemed to be a twist of fate; he had merged with it, absorbing the essence of all the Vicious Beasts in the abyss to mend his shattered body. Now, he had mastered the Gluttony Blood Scripture, and his power had undergone yet another transformation.

Gazing at the bright moon outside his window, Ning Gao let out a wry chuckle.

He never imagined that his fall would transform him into a humanoid, pure-blooded Gluttony. Indeed, life's twists and turns were beyond prediction.

...

In the poultry yard, Ning Gao shouldered the workload of three people, as he had promised, finding joy rather than fatigue in the labor.

The other workers stared at Ning Gao as if he were a creature from another world; none had ever heard of someone becoming addicted to the slaughter of chickens and pigs.

By day's end, Ning Gao's cultivation had surged dramatically, far surpassing the gains from his meditative practices.

Now that he had begun to formally practice the Gluttony Blood Scripture, the spiritual energy he absorbed had significantly increased. The slaughter of two to three hundred livestock over the past couple of days had boosted his strength to the upper echelons of a Three-star Apprentice, edging him closer to the pinnacle.

Feeling the explosive force within him, Ning Gao excitedly stretched and yawned.

"Thud!"

A branch descended from above, striking Ning Gao on the head.

He turned to see Ning Hu and two others approaching with an air of confidence.

"Hey, Young Master, do you actually believe that by not working under me anymore, you can slip through my fingers?" Ning Hu sauntered over, a sneer playing on his lips as he clapped his large hand onto Ning Gao's shoulder.

Ning Gao felt a jolt in his heart, yet fear didn't take hold.

He had changed; his cultivation had soared to the upper echelon of a Three-star Martial Apprentice, just shy of Ning Hu's level.

Armed with a physique refined by ferocious beasts, he could bridge the gap between them.

"Young Master, I've come today to share some news. The family has decided—your father is branded a traitor and is on the verge of being stricken from our genealogy."

Ning Gao's pupils shrank, and he stood frozen in shock.

Though the reason for his father's disappearance was a mystery, his dedication to the Ning Family was absolute. The sacrifices he'd made were immense. To return one day and find himself disowned—what heartache would that bring?

"So, as of today, you're nothing but a mongrel, a lowly creature with no ties to the Ning Family. You don't deserve the Ning surname."

Ning Hu's arrogance swelled as he jabbed his finger into Ning Gao's forehead.

"You're saying... I don't deserve the Ning name?"

Ning Gao's voice deepened, a hint of murderous intent glinting in his eyes.

"Oh? That tone... are you itching for a fight?" Ning Hu shoved Ning Gao aside, his scorn intensifying.

Having served under him, Ning Gao's capabilities were no secret to Ning Hu.

"Right you are. Consider this your prize—a thrashing!"
