The older woman choked out a laugh. "How generous! Two cheap bottles for the ceremony!"

Bai Xiaoxuan gritted her teeth. This man really was stingy. How could he give her something like this after what had happened in the engagement.

To tell the truth, Ye Nian had brought a ton of valuable things to his son. However, Ye Chen wanted nothing to do with the Bai Family. He did not take any of them.

"Ah, is this the drink Old Ye would brew himself?" Bai Shuhe's eyes lit up. He took a swig and sighed in satisfaction. "He used to make a lot of these back in the army. Kept me sane."
