Ye Kai smirked at Lee Feilong's threat.

"Make me pay? I'd love to see how you plan to do that. Do you actually have the power?" Ye Kai's retort was a verbal slap to Lee Feilong's face.

Lee Feilong faltered, speechless.

"If there's nothing more, we'll be on our way. But let me leave you with a piece of advice—tone down the arrogance next time," Ye Kai said with serene composure, stunning Lee Feilong to his core.

He felt like he might vomit blood, the humiliation was too much to bear, and his body shook uncontrollably.

For Lee Feilong, the situation was nothing short of a nightmare.

Ye Kai, however, merely smiled slightly. He didn't consider Lee Feilong a threat.

With Ye Kai's capabilities, handling someone like Lee Feilong should have been effortless. Even though Ye Kai had lost his former strength, he had a God Level protector, Liu Tianlai, who could easily take care of the situation if he chose to intervene.

No sooner had they stepped outside than several menacing figures charged at them, their intentions clearly hostile as they lunged at Ye Kai and the rest.

Su Ruoqing instinctively stepped back, her face etched with terror.

The situation was genuinely frightening for her.

Yet, Ye Kai simply smiled.

"Don't worry. These guys must be Lee Feilong's henchmen, but they're not hard to handle," Ye Kai reassured her with a calmness that suggested this was all in a day's work.

Su Ruoqing felt her own anxiety ebb away, influenced by Ye Kai's composure.

If Ye Kai could remain so unfazed, Su Ruoqing felt she could muster the same calm. The group had encircled them, each one looking more menacing than the last.

The ringleader, in particular, wore a look of pure malice, his expression icy.

The thug, however, let out a cold, mocking laugh.

"You don't get it? Well, today's the day you'll learn," he said, balling his fists, a glint of malice in his eyes.

His body had become icy to the extreme, and his anger had reached an unparalleled level.

The thug was poised to strike at Ye Kai.

Ye Kai, however, showed no sign of engaging. He simply stood his ground, confident that Liu Tianlai wouldn't stand idly by.

True to expectations, Liu Tianlai charged into action.

He moved like lightning, striking with thunderous speed.

Liu Tianlai confronted the thugs in an instant.

As the gang leader lunged with a punch, Liu Tianlai countered with a swift kick.

His kick was blindingly fast, showcasing the formidable prowess of Liu Tianlai's footwork, which was both fierce and impeccably precise.

Liu Tianlai's kick sent the thug flying.

The thugs toppled to the ground, their faces contorted with defeat. Despite their considerable strength, they were powerless against Liu Tianlai.

Ye Kai sensed a misunderstanding but chose not to clarify.

With that, Ye Kai and Su Ruoqing returned home, where Xu Xinxin was caring for the two joyful babies, who greeted them with beaming smiles.
