"Yes, the Gene Drug belongs to you. No one will be able to tell you how or what you use it for. However, you have nevertheless disturbed the camp's order and even injured one of your comrades. You better come meet me and receive your punishment after you finishing dealing with your affairs."
Han Dong said with a stern expression.
From the perspective of the bystanedrs, it sounded like he was going to punish Chu Lin. In reality, on the other hand, he was actually being biased towards him.
Only when the time came would Han Dong decide whether or not there world be a punishment for Chu Lin.
After Ning Feng heard what Han Dong said, he left without saying a word — his face gloomy while his eyes lit in flames.
With that, Chu Lin and Hu Biao entered the ICU and walked to Yu Zhen's bedside.

Chu Lin prayed with all his might for Yu Zhen in his heart and injected the Gene Drug into Yu Zhen.
The light-red drug entered Yu Zhen through his veins, causing his body to become boiling hot.

Suddenly, the unconscious Yu Zhen let out a muffled grunt. His face revealed a pained expression as the medical equipment also sounded the alarm, indicating that something had gone wrong.
"Not good, the energy from the Gene Drug is overwhelm his body. Captain Yu Zhen's body can't take much more of it." Hu Biao exclaimed.
"Vice Captain Hu, do you have any Beast Cores on you right now? If so, hurry up and give it to me!" Chu Lin frowned and said to Hu Biao.
Although he did not know what Chu Lin was going to do, Hu Biao still gave him all the Beast Cores he had.
There were a total of seven of them.
Chu Lin took the Beast Cores and instantly swallowed it, gaining a total of 700 energy.

Sudddenly, a wave of Gene Energy was forcibly extracted from Yu Zhen's body by Chu Lin.

Chu Lin looked through his stats after the extraction. His stamina had increased by 3 points, strength by 2 points, and spiritual force by 2 points.
Since Yu Zhen was just an intermediate warrior, even if the extraction did succeed, the growth in his stats would be very limited.
As long as Yu Zhen could be saved, however, that would be more than enough.
As expected, after Chu Lin succeeded in extracting the Gene Energy, the pain on Yu Zhen's face immediately alleviated as the rest of his body returned back to a normal state.
"Captain? Captain, how are you?" Hu Biao hurriedly asked when he saw how Captain Yu Zhen had miraculously calmed down.
"Water... Water..." As Yu Zhen slowly opened his eyes, his cracked lips moved slightly as he spoke in a hoarse and weak voice.
At his request, the paramedics immediately brought in the special nutritional water.
Half an hour later, Yu Zhen's condition had completely stabilized while his physical strength was also recovering rapidly.
"Captain, how are you feeling now?" Hu Biao looked at Yu Zhen excitedly.

Originally, he would've been walking down the path to River Styx by now. To think that Chu Lin actually used something a valuable as the Gene Drug in an attempt to save him despite knowing the risks...
It would be a lie to say that he was not moved!
"Uncle Yu, what kind of gene did you awaken?" Chu Lin asked, seeing how Yu Zhen's body had returned into a stable state.
"Come, come closer." Yu Zhen built up the suspense and waved to Chu Lin.
Chu Lin came to Yu Zhen's side and saw Yu Zhen's eyes emitting a gray light. Suddenly, Chu Lin immediately felt as if some sort of weight had appeared above him and was weighing him down.
Gravity Field!

Hu Biao was completely caught off guard and directly collapsed to the ground.
Only after Chu Lin got used to the gravity weighing him down was he able to move around freely.
With his strength as his greatest ability right now, a mere increase in gravity would not hinder his movements whatsoever.
"Superhuman gene, Gravity Field." Yu Zhen retracted his ability and smiled: "Unfortunately, the range of the gravity field is too small, so its usage will be very limited."
"There's no such thing as a trash gene, only trash users. Uncle Yu, I believe in your abilites." Chu Lin said.
"Chu Lin, what sort of gene did you awaken for you to not be affected by my Gravity Field?" Yu Zhen laughed bitterly as he said in astonishment.
"I also awakened a superhuman gene that increased my strength by a little bit. There's nothing else to do." Chu Lin answered casually.
Everyone mistakenly thought that Chu Lin's gene was just a normal superhuman gene.
Since that was the case, Chu Lin thought that he might take advantage of that situation and keep his abilities low-key.
After Han Dong heard the news, he rushed over once again. Seeing Yu Zhen's energetic look, Han Dong's usually solemn face suddenly revealed a look of shock.
He did not expect this outcome either.
Not only did Yu Zhen survive, but he had even successfully awakened with th help of the Gene Drug.
"God bless my Weiyang!"
Han Dong closed his eyes and said a prayer.
Within a short span of one day, two more Awakened Practitioners have actually appeared at the Weiyang Gathering Ground. Even with Han Dong's usual composed self, he could not help but get a bit excited from such pleasant news.
"Captain Yu Zhen." Placing his hands on Yu Zhen's shoulder, he said with a trace of joy on his cold face, "Welcome back."
"Commander, everything is thanks to Chu Lin. He was the one who used something as valuable as the Gene Drug to save my life and help me awaken my genes." Yu Zhen quickly added as a way of supporting Chu Lin.
"I know. To save you, Chu Lin even had to criple Ning Feng's hand," Han Dong said.
"Huh?"
Yu Zhen was dumbfounded.
After listening to the sequence of events, not only was Chu Lin shocked, but a trace of emotion also flashed across his eyes.
To save him, Chu Lin did not even hesitate to fight with an Awakened Practitioner who had awakened three gene chains.
What was even more unexpected was that he actually won!
"Commander, since I have added an Awakened Practitioner to our camp, shouldn't you give me some sort of reward? How does a few hundred Beast Cores sound?"
Despite already making the bargain, Chu Lin still acted as if he was some sort of poor kid.
"Hmph, I didn't come looking for you regarding the matter of you beating up your comrades, yet you still have the nerve to ask me for a reward?" Han Dong snorted.
"I didn't beat him up. I was just defending myself." Chu Lin rolled his eyes.
