C10 New Ceo

This woman appeared to be in her late thirties, not particularly striking in looks, but her mature and sensual aura more than made up for it. Dressed in a professional suit, she exuded a blend of competence and alluring femininity.

She was Sun Wenhui, the department manager of Tianyue Media's publicity department, and also the aunt of Suen Rou. It was Sun Wenhui's influence that paved the way for Suen Rou to secure a contract with Tianyue Media.

"Auntie!" Suen Rou exclaimed affectionately upon seeing Sun Wenhui. She hurried over, looped her arm through her aunt's, and whispered something into her ear.

Liu Guangli, along with the other Tianyue Media employees and two security guards, broke into welcoming smiles at the sight of Sun Wenhui.

"Manager Sun, good morning."

Sun Wenhui acknowledged everyone with a nod before turning her attention to Lin Hao with a stern tone, "You're the one who hit her car? Apologize immediately, or we'll involve the police to resolve this."

Lin Hao chuckled at her threat. "I don't even know you. Why should I do what you say? Go ahead and call the police. It wasn't me who hit her car. I have nothing to fear."

"He doesn't recognize Manager Sun? He really should be fired!"

"Wait and see, Manager Sun is definitely going to fire him!" murmured the onlooking Tianyue Media employees.

Unfazed by Lin Hao's indifference, Sun Wenhui's expression grew icier. She pointed directly at his nose and declared, "You're the new security guard, aren't you? Well, you're fired. Leave now, or I'll call the cops and have you taken to the station!"

"Hehe... Take me to the station?" Lin Hao raised an eyebrow, gesturing to himself.

Suen Rou chimed in, "Are you incapable of understanding plain speech? I consider myself unlucky to have encountered you today. It's obvious you can't compensate for the car's damage, and I can't be bothered to haggle with you. Just go, and make sure I never see you again!"

Lin Hao responded with a sneer and remained silent. As Sun Wenhui was about to unleash a tirade, the blare of a car horn interrupted her, and a sleek, new Lamborghini pulled up before the crowd.

A young woman in a wine-red business suit stepped out of the car, her figure graceful, her hair meticulously coiffed, and a pair of gold-rimmed glasses framing her face.

She approached Lin Hao and executed a flawless 90-degree bow. "I apologize, President. I was retrieving the new quarterly report for the branch office and lost track of time. Please forgive me."

Lin Hao gave her a knowing look, recognizing her as Secretary Zhou, the assistant his Second Uncle had arranged for him.

Straightening up, Secretary Zhou regarded the young man before her with a hint of anxiety. "President, I didn't anticipate the traffic. I sincerely apologize. I assure you, it won't happen again."

The onlookers were baffled. President? What was going on?

Sun Wenhui, who was familiar with Secretary Zhou, couldn't hide his confusion and irritation upon witnessing her deferential behavior towards Lin Hao.

He strode over and grabbed Secretary Zhou's arm, his voice tinged with frustration. "Secretary Zhou, have you got it wrong? He's the company's new security guard! What are you doing?"

With a frown, Secretary Zhou withdrew her arm and retrieved her phone and a sheaf of papers from her bag. "I doubt I'm mistaken. Elder Lin personally handed me these documents about the new CEO. And this gentleman," she gestured to the photo, "bears a striking resemblance to him. They must be the same person."

Suen Rou, who had been observing quietly, stepped forward to inspect the photo on Secretary Zhou's phone. The man did resemble Lin Hao, yet he exuded a far superior air and looked both younger and more handsome.

"You must be confused, Secretary Zhou! This man is Lin Hao, an old classmate of mine. Look at how unkempt he is; there's no way he could be the CEO of Tianyue Media! It's probably just a case of mistaken identity," Suen Rou said, pointing at Lin Hao's attire with a sneer.

A CEO in a t-shirt and baggy shorts, riding a beat-up electric scooter? Unthinkable.

Secretary Zhou adjusted her glasses calmly, her demeanor unflappable. "Then there's no mistake. According to the information Elder Lin provided, the new president is indeed named Lin Hao. And this photo, taken three years ago, would naturally make him appear younger than he does today."

Secretary Zhou opened the file, and Suen Rou and Sun Wenhui immediately leaned in. The name Lin Hao emblazoned on the front page hit them like a bolt of lightning.

Sun Wenhui, no stranger to high society, recovered quicker than most. She feigned composure as she rapidly scanned the documents, though her complexion grew increasingly pale. A sinking realization of despair washed over her; the casually dressed young man before her was their new CEO!

Incredulously, she raised her eyes to Lin Hao, only to quickly avert them upon meeting his mocking gaze.

What had she done? As a marketing manager, she had loudly threatened to fire the new president in front of a crowd, even suggesting he be thrown in jail...

After an internal struggle, Sun Wenhui steeled herself, cautiously approached, and managed a strained smile. "Mr. President, I am deeply sorry. We failed to recognize your stature, and I implore you not to hold it against us. I assure you, this will never happen again..."

"A future?" Lin Hao glanced at her sideways.

Sun Wenhui's face stiffened, and she began to stutter, "Please, don't... I realize my mistake. Mr. President, I beg you, give me a chance to make amends."

Disregarding the onlookers' curious stares, Sun Wenhui's primary concern was safeguarding her job and status. Suen Rou, too, quickly approached Lin Hao, her usual haughtiness nowhere to be seen.

"Mr. Hao, the fault is mine. Please, don't take it to heart. I offer my apologies..."

Lin Hao observed her with a half-smile, remaining silent. Under his gaze, Suen Rou's voice dwindled until she, too, bowed her head, unable to meet his eyes any longer.

Checking his watch, Lin Hao decided not to linger at the entrance any longer. After a moment's thought, he gestured to Secretary Zhou and, with a cold chuckle, pointed towards Liu Guangli, who was doing his best to fade into the background.

"This individual's presence is tarnishing Tianyue Media's image. Let's go ahead and terminate his employment."

Having made his decision, he strode off toward Tianyue Media with Secretary Zhou in tow, while Sun Wenhui, Suen Rou, and the rest hurried to keep up. Left behind was a distraught Liu Guangli, his face a mask of tears, as he watched their retreating figures with a sense of utter hopelessness.
