C2 Attribute Potion
"System, what's the purpose of this ring?" Yun Chen, aware of the existence of cultivation techniques and spells in this world, didn't believe for a second that it was just an ordinary ring, so he inquired.
The system remained silent, yet a message suddenly flashed into Yun Chen's mind:
"Low-level spatial ring, containing a ten-square-meter space suitable for storing non-living items. Presently, it holds items the host requires."
Note: The ring can be activated with a drop of the host's blood.
"Holy smokes! A spatial ring? And it has the items I need?" Yun Chen was ecstatic as he absorbed the information in his thoughts.
Forget what was inside; the spatial ring alone was mind-blowing!
This was no ordinary ring—it was a Divine Artifact capable of holding real-world items!
This was outrageously incredible!
"Wow! This is just too cool! And what exactly is inside? Could there be some kind of Divine Artifact? The mere thought is thrilling!"
Licking his lips in anticipation, Yun Chen no longer hesitated. He put his finger to his mouth and bit down hard. Blood immediately began to trickle from his finger.
"Ouch, that hurt like hell! The contents better be worth it!"
There's truth to the saying 'the pain in the finger reaches the heart.' Yun Chen's bite was deep, and he winced at the sharp pain. But the potential treasures inside the spatial ring made him forget the discomfort. He hurriedly smeared his blood onto the ring, which was hovering in the air.
With a "buzz," the ring glowed brightly and vibrated as it came into contact with Yun Chen's blood.
"Aha! Success!"
As the light faded, Yun Chen couldn't contain his excitement. He now had a clear sense of the ring's properties and knew exactly how to use it.
"Open!" With that command in his mind, Yun Chen's consciousness was transported into the interior of the ring.
"Is this really what I need right now?!"
Yun Chen was dumbfounded as he looked at the items within the spatial ring, momentarily overwhelmed.
Inside the ring were a set of clothes, a wooden longsword, and a bottle of potion.
"System, are you for real? What use do I have for this longsword? And these clothes, they look like something out of the Stone Age! Plus, this potion – I'm not deficient in anything! Why would I need to take medicine?"
Yun Chen was so frustrated that he was pulling his hair out. Could this system be any more unreliable? What kind of junk was it giving him?
"Ding! Host, please refrain from doubting the system. The system is the universe's most powerful Divine Artifact, and the items provided are without error. Please examine them closely."
As Yun Chen was tugging at his hair in irritation, the system's voice chimed in.
"Really? I've got to see how these items could possibly be of use."
Despite his doubts about the system's assurances, Yun Chen brought his consciousness closer to the items within the spatial ring.
As soon as he focused, several pieces of information flashed into his mind:
"Newbie Clothes: System-awarded attire that increases the host's defense by 300 points. (Host's current defense: 60)"
"Newbie Longsword: System-awarded weapon that increases the host's attack by 300 points. (Host's current attack: 50)"
"Attribute Potion: Upon consumption, it activates the host's Primordial Attribute. (Host's current attribute: None)"
"Ah? This Attribute Potion sounds pretty incredible, doesn't it?! And the description makes it seem all the more mysterious!"
"I'll try it when I get home. The system wouldn't steer me wrong, would it?" Yun Chen mused, eyeing the Attribute Potion lying in the spatial ring.
He automatically dismissed the clothes and the longsword. No way would he be caught dead in such a shabby outfit!
And that wooden longsword? Even more pointless! In this era of peace, why would he ever need to wield a wooden longsword in a fight?
Come on, if he accidentally injured someone with it, he'd be liable for damages!
"By the way, System, after all this time, I still don't quite get what you're all about," Yun Chen said, as if a sudden thought had struck him.
"Ding, responding to the host. This system is known as the Super Red Packet System, a creation of the universe's primordial forces. It has been searching the cosmos for a suitable host to assist in reaching the pinnacle of life."
"A Primordial Attribute product? I have no idea what that is, but it sounds incredibly powerful!" Yun Chen couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and confusion after hearing the system's words.
He was clueless about what the system had mentioned, but he knew he needed to inquire about its capabilities. Thus, Yun Chen asked, "So, what features do you offer? Are you going to send me red packets every day or something?"
"Ding, the host must complete tasks issued by the system to receive red packet rewards."
"What the heck? There are tasks? What kind of tasks?" Yun Chen was taken aback by the system's explanation and couldn't help but ask, puzzled.
"Ding, would the host like to accept the mission now?"
"Um... Accept!" Yun Chen hesitated briefly before responding.
He had no idea what this system mission entailed, but he was certain that refusing it meant missing out on the red packet rewards—and that would be a major loss!
"Ding, the system mission is now active, issuing the mission..."
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for accepting the mission: Become a Millionaire! Mission Description: As a man aiming for the pinnacle of life, go earn your first pot of gold! Mission Requirement: Earn one million. Mission Duration: One month. Mission Success: Reward one red packet each for magic arts type and crafting type. Mission Failure: The host will be terminated."
Yun Chen gasped sharply upon reading the details of the system mission!
Could this be a mistake? Earn one million in a month? And if the mission fails, he gets terminated? Did they really think he was some kind of prodigy? One million in a month? Impossible! He wouldn't even fetch that much if he sold himself!
"System, big brother, can we switch to a different mission? Isn't one million a bit excessive?" Yun Chen tried to regain his composure and squeezed out a smile as he spoke.
"Ding! The system mission has already been issued and cannot be modified."
"@#$%&*#..." Yun Chen was left speechless. Was it necessary to be this tricky?
"Never mind, I'll just head home and figure something out."
After glancing around to ensure no one was watching, Yun Chen trudged back home, his head hanging low. The excitement he had felt upon first receiving the system was nowhere to be seen.
Upon arriving home, Yun Chen immediately locked himself in his room to begin taking the Attribute Potion stored in his spatial ring.
"Activating the Primordial Attribute after taking this? Sounds incredible!" Yun Chen murmured, examining the potion in his hand.
"Let's just taste it," he decided, and without hesitation, he uncapped the bottle and gulped down the contents.
"Wow, that's surprisingly sweet!" The moment the potion touched his tongue, a pleasant sweetness spread through his mouth. He smacked his lips, almost wishing for another taste.
But before he could fully enjoy the flavor, the system's voice chimed in again:
"Ding! Host has consumed the Attribute Potion. The awakening of the Primordial Attribute will now commence."
"Ding! Primordial Attribute awakening successful. Congratulations to the host for awakening the Fire, Water, and Wind Attributes."
"Ding! Congratulations to the host for mastering the Fireball, Waterball, and Wind Escaping Techniques."
The system's announcements popped like a string of firecrackers, leaving Yun Chen's mouth agape in astonishment. He may not have grasped the full extent of what was happening, but it certainly sounded impressive, didn't it?
"Um, system, could you explain what all this means?" As a beginner, Yun Chen knew it was wise to seek clarification when in doubt, so he inquired earnestly.
The system did not disappoint, promptly clarifying:
"The Fireball Technique is a low-level spell that allows the host to summon the fire element from the air, creating a massive fireball with a half-meter diameter. Its explosive force is tremendous."
"The Waterball Technique is also a low-level spell. By concentrating, the host can summon the water element to form a large water ball of equal size, which also has a powerful explosive impact."
"The Wind Escaping Technique is a low-level spell that enables the host to summon the wind element. When the wind gathers, it can bolster the host's speed by 500 points."
"This is... absolutely amazing!" After the system finished explaining, Yun Chen was momentarily speechless, then burst into excited stammering.
"Alright, concentrate. Water elements in the air, come together swiftly!"
After a brief moment of excitement, Yun Chen composed himself and stood still. He concentrated his mind, as explained by the system, and began to summon the water elements from the air.
"Whoosh..."
In less than three seconds of focusing, the sound of trickling water filled the room. Yun Chen watched in awe as a large water ball, about half a meter in diameter, slowly materialized before him, magically floating mid-air.
"Holy smokes! This is absolutely incredible!"
Yun Chen stared at the large water ball hovering in the room, utterly astonished. He marveled at the spectacle before him—it was truly astonishing!
"Should I test its strength?"
"Um... better not!"
Yun Chen contemplated testing the water ball's power, but then he thought better of it, considering the fact that he was in his own room. He certainly didn't want to risk blowing up his personal space!
"But how do I get rid of this water ball?" He soon found himself troubled by a new problem. Creating the water ball was one thing, but how to make it disappear?
Just then, the system's voice chimed in, "Ding! The host simply needs to relax his mind, and the water element will dissipate."
"Is it really that easy?" Yun Chen was delighted by the revelation. He immediately let his mind relax.
To his horror, he then witnessed the water ball, which had been suspended in the air, suddenly lose its buoyancy and drop with a splash.
In an instant, the room was awash...
