The street was suffused with a curling mist. The faint yellow light from the street lamps illuminated the entire street with yellow halos. It was a starless night, and the wind was so cold that it froze the air. Meanwhile, in the distant rookie downtown area, the lights were still flashing red, half of the sky was a cold blue.
