C54 Corridor blood

At the sound, before I could put on my shoes, I ran out to open the door. The light in the corridor was off, and there was nothing but the spot where I had opened the door.

I walked to the hallway and shouted, "Li Wa!" The corridor was very quiet, without a sound. Did I just hear it in my dreams?

So I closed the door and turned to go back to sleep, feeling sticky under my feet
