Hua Hsing clearly heard a voice but saw no one. He even wondered if he was imagining things.

"Could it be an illusion?" Hua Hsing shook his head, talking to himself.

Just then, the voice came again.

This time, Hua Hsing heard it distinctly. He followed the sound and was surprised to find that it was coming from a stone at the bottom of the lake.
