C7 This Guy Is a Pervert

Ling Sixue coughed lightly and addressed the room, "I'd like to offer a word of caution about our new manager, Ye Fan. Keep a close eye on him. I haven't had much interaction with him, but I assure you, he's nothing but trouble. Just look at him; he practically radiates thug energy from every pore. So, ladies, be extra vigilant going forward!"

As soon as she finished, the office fell deathly quiet, with all eyes fixed on Ye Fan.

"Don't forget about your computers, either. Make sure to secure them with passwords!" Ling Sixue added.

At this, Ye Fan felt his blood boil, frustration etched across his face as he retorted, "You... How can you spout such nonsense? It was clearly that other guy."

He had initially thought well of Sixue, but he hadn't anticipated this twist in the tale...

Sixue, seeing Ye Fan's reaction, couldn't help but revel in her triumph. Did he really think he could waltz into the public relations department and charm the ladies? Not a chance.

The office buzzed with whispers as the women gave Ye Fan wary glances, some even pulling their clothes tighter around them, while others went as far as to don their jackets.

A few speculated that the new manager must have somehow crossed Sixue.

Ye Fan let out a resigned sigh. "Let it go. It's not worth arguing with a woman, especially when she's the CEO's assistant."

Sixue then took Ye Fan through the work processes and the key points he needed to be aware of. He listened intently, and there were no further clashes between them.

Seeing Ye Fan's compliant demeanor, Sixue was quite pleased, thinking to herself that he knew his place.

Two hours later, in the CEO's office on the seventeenth floor, Su Yurou was back and attentively listening to Ling Sixue's work report, taking notes as she went along.

They say there's a certain allure to a man when he's serious, but the same could be said for a woman. And in the case of a stunning beauty like Su Yurou, her focused presence was captivating, the kind that could turn a nation upside down.

"Oh right, how did Ye Fan's interview go?" Su Yurou asked, looking up at Ling Sixue with curiosity.

Ling Sixue was candid, recounting the events of the assessment to Su Yurou in detail. Despite her personal feelings towards Ye Fan, she remained professional, refraining from speaking ill of him.

Su Yurou grew increasingly astonished as she listened. "He has such extensive knowledge of women's lingerie? In that case, have the company's designer discuss it with him when there's a chance. If his suggestions are taken on board, make sure he receives the appropriate share of the profits."

It must be said, from the moment Ye Fan turned down the five million she offered him, the surprises he brought to Su Yurou kept mounting.

"Alright, Director Su, I'll go and inform him right away," Ling Sixue replied with a nod.

On his first day, Ye Fan relished the thrill of leading a team of stunning women.

Despite the initial impact of Ling Sixue's earlier comments, the majority were still eager to ingratiate themselves with him.

Within just two hours, Ye Fan had already taken a liking to his role as PR Manager.

Feeling a bit carried away, he crossed his legs and hummed a tune.

Upon entering and seeing Ye Fan's relaxed demeanor, Ling Sixue couldn't hide her irritation.

"Ye Fan, you're on the clock. Mind your image; you're compromising the reputation of Iris International," she chided.

Ye Fan quickly adjusted his posture and replied cheerfully, "It's my first day, and I'm still getting the hang of things. It won't happen again. What can I do for you?"

Ling Sixue huffed, "The CEO wants you to collaborate with our lingerie designer in the coming days. Be prepared. Furthermore, if your advice is implemented, you'll receive the dividends you're entitled to."

With that, Ling Sixue left Ye Fan's office without looking back.

As five o'clock approached, the staff of Iris International began to trickle out, but Ye Fan had dozed off in his office.

Awakening to darkness, he stood, stretched languidly, locked up, and made his way downstairs.

After stepping out of Iris International, Ye Fan was met with a strong protest from his stomach. His gaze drifted around in search of a fast-food restaurant for a quick bite.

He had hoped to treat himself to a better meal, but since he hadn't received his first paycheck yet, that was off the table for now.

Suddenly, Ye Fan's eyes widened as he spotted a Golden Cup Car shaking ever so slightly.

"Damn, I just watched a movie today, and now I'm about to witness the real deal?" Ye Fan was slightly thrilled as he cautiously approached.

It might have been because the system had boosted Ye Fan's abilities to that of an innate warrior, but from over ten meters away, he could already see inside the vehicle.

To his surprise, it was Su Yurou!

But at that moment, Yurou was being held hostage, struggling fiercely.

She was surrounded by four men in black, their faces covered with masks, and shockingly, each one was armed with a gun!

"She's in danger!" Ye Fan's focus was fixed on Yurou.

"This is also an excellent chance to enhance my power. I have to save her!" Ye Fan resolved, his eyes shining with determination.

All of a sudden, the Golden Cup Car roared to life and sped away.

As luck would have it, a taxi was passing by. Ye Fan quickly flagged it down.

"Driver, follow that car ahead." Once inside, Ye Fan urgently instructed the driver, pulling out the last three hundred yuan he had and tossing it to him.

The taxi accelerated, rapidly closing the gap with the Golden Cup Car, which wasn't moving too fast.

"Little brother, what's this all about?" the driver asked, puzzled.

"I'm a police officer," Ye Fan replied with a furrowed brow, keeping his eyes glued to the Golden Cup Car as he fabricated an identity.

The driver's interest was piqued upon hearing this; he was a fan of cop shows and never imagined he'd be aiding in a real-life police operation.

"Don't worry, little brother, I won't let them get away," the driver assured him, concentrating on the road and keeping a careful distance from the car ahead, just like in the movies.

Meanwhile, Ye Fan was battling his own doubts. Even as an innate warrior, his skills were artificially enhanced by the system, and he had yet to face a real combat situation.

Moreover, they were four against one, and each of them was armed. How could he possibly stop bullets?

Yet, the thought of passively watching Su Yurou being taken was unthinkable. Despite Ye Fan's seemingly carefree and jovial demeanor, he was deeply principled and committed to justice. He had previously risked his life to save a young boy, after all. And if anything were to happen to Su Yurou, his mission as a bodyguard would be deemed a failure.

Meanwhile, inside the Golden Cup vehicle.

Su Yurou was in a state of sheer panic. Despite being a formidable businesswoman, she was, at the end of the day, human and terrified in the face of such peril. She had been working late at the office and was abducted the moment she stepped outside.

In her despair, she felt certain that no one would come to her rescue. Her bodyguards were likely neutralized by these assailants, and her family members were probably eager for her demise to claim her inheritance.

"Who sent you? I can offer double whatever you're being paid," Su Yurou proposed, understanding that these individuals must be mercenaries. She believed that everyone had a price and was willing to negotiate her way out. She couldn't fathom that anyone in the world could be indifferent to money.

This brought her thoughts to Ye Fan, whom she had met in the hospital.

"Perhaps he is the exception."

For some reason, Ye Fan's image surfaced in her mind at that critical moment. Shaking her head, she snapped back to the grim reality.

"Miss Su, I'm well aware of your wealth, and rest assured, we intend to claim our share," one of the men in black said, eyeing Su Yurou with avarice. "But first, there are other matters to attend to."

"I'll pay whatever you ask, just let me go," Su Yurou pleaded, fully aware of the grim implications behind their "other matters." The thought of enduring such an ordeal left her questioning her will to survive.

"Don't worry, Miss Su. As long as you cooperate with us, I assure you, you won't be harmed," the man in black assured her with a vile smirk, his gaze lingering on her.

It must be acknowledged that Su Yurou's figure is truly exceptional. Her already stunning physique is further highlighted to perfection by her uniform.
