C12 Fire Dragon

Qin Mu nodded with satisfaction and addressed the Skyhaven Clan disciples, "Now, we launch our assault on Stormwrack. They say our Skyhaven Clan has fallen. Today, we'll show these sects the true might of Skyhaven!"

"Target Stormwrack. Advance at full speed!"

The Skyhaven Clan's pace quickened, a fierce fire burning in the heart of each member. Today, they would prove themselves!

With the Skyhaven disciples' ambitions fueling them, they soon arrived at Stormwrack, careful not to get too close and lose the element of surprise.

"All elders, step forward!"

At Qin Mu's command, the elders assembled.

He then instructed the crowd, "I'll lead the elders in the initial strike. All Skyhaven disciples, upon hearing the second explosion, launch a full assault on the Oathbreakers! Any questions?"

A chorus of voices responded, "No questions!"

"Good. Let's move out!"

The elders followed Qin Mu to the gates of the Oathbreakers. The disciple guarding the gate was utterly baffled. Why were there so many elders arriving?

Despite his confusion, the Oathbreakers disciple dutifully challenged them, "Identify yourselves! State your names!"

But no one responded to his query. Instead, massive fire dragons answered for them.

As the fire dragons loomed larger before him, the Oathbreakers disciple failed to grasp the situation until a fire dragon was almost upon him, its terrifying heat signaling an attack.

But he had no chance to cry out; the fire dragon engulfed him, reducing him to ashes.

Explosions tore through the air, shattering the Oathbreakers' sect protecting formation.

Oathbreakers disciples and elders hurried to the entrance, and soon a large assembly of them had gathered.

Qin Mu smiled coolly and began a countdown, "Three, two, one!"

As he hit one, fire dragons, larger than before, soared forth. This time, their target wasn't the sect protecting formation but the cluster of disciples and elders amassed at the gates.

The elders and disciples finally grasped the gravity of the situation as they faced the immense fire dragon. Despite erecting spiritual energy shields, their efforts were futile. Many elders and disciples were reduced to ashes on the spot, and those who weren't perished suffered grave injuries from the violent explosions.

"Attack! Fight for the Skyhaven Clan!" The Skyhaven Clan's disciples charged forth, with the elders swiftly joining the fray against the Oathbreakers.

The Oathbreakers' disciples were scattered like chaff from the outset, fleeing in disarray against the Skyhaven Clan's fervent warriors.

Venom Lord burst from his secret chamber to witness his sect in ruins. Overcome with madness, he bellowed, "Die, Skyhaven Clan!"

Suddenly, he brandished a pristine white jade bottle, uncorking it to release a plume of grayish-white mist.

Qin Mu executed the Starfall Stride, sweeping his hand to force the mist back into the bottle. With a firm grip, he crushed it. Venom Lord's wrist cracked under Qin Mu's grasp, the jade bottle slipping from his grasp. Qin Mu swiftly caught it, striking again and sending Venom Lord flying.

"Ding!"

"The host has been exposed to the Breath of Obliteration's corrosion. The healing system is now repairing!"

Ignoring the Venom Lord's murderous glare, Qin Mu inquired of the system, "What is the Breath of Obliteration?"

"The Breath of Obliteration originates from the soil deep within the Underworld. It relentlessly ravages a person's soul until death."

Shocked by the system's explanation, Qin Mu realized the potency of the Breath of Obliteration. He inspected his palm, now a sickly green-black, seemingly poisoned.

Venom Lord, seeing no reaction from Qin Mu, demanded, "Who are you? I've never heard of someone like you in the Skyhaven Clan!"

Qin Mu responded coolly, "I'm not affiliated with the Skyhaven Clan. I had no intention of attacking the Oathbreakers, but your alliance with Stormwrack left me no choice. Hence, I had to strike at the Oathbreakers first."

"Kid, feeling smug, are you? Just so you know, that mist you encountered was laced with the Breath of Obliteration and my own concoction of poison. You're a goner!"

Qin Mu lifted his hand and nonchalantly waved it in front of the Venom Lord, taunting, "Sorry to burst your bubble, but it looks like you're going to be disappointed. I'm almost healed."

The Venom Lord was taken aback. What was happening? His poison was ineffective?

Realizing his poison had no effect, Qin Mu instantly extended his hand and unleashed a blast of fire, incinerating the Venom Lord on the spot.

Qin Mu then landed and, channeling spiritual energy into his vocal cords, bellowed, "All disciples, plunder Stormwrack swiftly. We're heading home soon!"

The Skyhaven Clan disciples erupted in cheers, eagerly beginning their hunt for the spoils of war.

"Ling sisters!" Qin Mu called out softly, then instructed, "Check the Stormwrack's warehouse for any poisons or antidotes and gather them all for me."

"Understood!" The Ling sisters acknowledged and departed.

Qin Mu's gaze then shifted to Chu Feng, whose empty sleeves stirred a pang of sympathy in him.

"My disciple, we'll get your arm back shortly."

Chu Feng grinned and responded, "You got it, Master!"

Since Chu Feng's arm had been severed, he had undergone a transformation, becoming more easygoing and upbeat. The old Chu Feng always carried the malevolence of a demonic cult member.

Qin Mu couldn't help but feel elated seeing Chu Feng's positive change.

Surveying the near-ruins of Stormwrack, Qin Mu sighed. Such was the life of a cultivator, contending with the forces of the universe.

Qing Shu materialized beside Qin Mu, playfully sticking out her tongue, "You're incredibly strong! That surprise assault left Stormwrack defenseless."

Qin Mu lifted his head proudly, "That's right! But wait, there's more to come!"

Qing Shu's eyes suddenly bulged with astonishment, and she gasped, "You wouldn't... you're not planning to go..."

Her words trailed off, and she clamped a hand over her mouth, as if she had nearly let slip a monumental secret.

Qin Mu caught Qing Shu's expression and chuckled to himself, choosing to remain silent.

"Listen up, Skyhaven Clan disciples, that's enough. Don't be greedy for everything. Why bother with spiritual herbs that don't even rank? When looting, be smart about it—only take the most valuable and the finest."

Upon hearing Qin Mu's words, many disciples had an epiphany. They promptly discarded the lesser items they were holding and set off in search of better treasures.

Qing Shu gazed at Qin Mu and suddenly found him incredibly attractive. After all, women have always been drawn to heroes.

Qian Lai, with a sycophantic grin, sidled up to Qin Mu and pleaded, "Boss, about that jade bottle we saw earlier—could you sell it to me?"

Qin Mu regarded him with a look of contempt and asked, "What do you want it for?"

"It's a personal secret. Please, no more questions, boss. I'm ready to offer 50,000 Soulstones for it!"

Qin Mu was taken aback by the mention of Soulstones. It seemed Qian Lai was no longer interested in concealing his true status.
