C13 Distributing the Pills

Qin Mu shook his head and responded, "No, I still need it. Let's try next time! Once I manage to gather some more, I'll sell it to you then!"

Upon hearing this, Qian Lai, the younger brother, didn't insist further. He nodded and replied, "Okay then, boss. You use it first. I hope you'll keep me in mind when you have more to spare!"

"Sure, next time, Fatty!" Qin Mu agreed with a nod.

At the mention of "Fatty," Qian Lai's lips curled slightly, but he held back any retort and simply walked away.

After Qian Lai's departure, Qin Mu noticed a disciple named Zhao Da.

Unleashing his Divine Sense, it didn't take long for Qin Mu to locate Zhao Da.

Inside a house, Zhao Da stood with a female cultivator amidst the disarray, evidence of a recent search.

"Little Sister Ziyan, you saw my courage just now, right? I really fancy you. Why not stay with me?" Zhao Da implored.

The woman, known as Little Sister Ziyan, gazed out at the sky and murmured, "In this lifetime, I, Chen Ziyan, will only marry if necessary. And if I do, it will be to a cultivator of Elder Qin Mu's stature. When you're as formidable as Elder Qin Mu, come find me then." Without another glance at Zhao Da, she stepped out of the room and left.

Qin Mu chuckled to himself. Had his allure really grown so strong?

Before long, a crestfallen Zhao Da approached Qin Mu, asking in a disheartened tone, "Boss, what realm have you reached now?"

Hearing Zhao Da's query, Qin Mu pondered for a moment before deciding to spare him further discouragement. He fibbed, "Looking at the current situation, if you continue your cultivation for another hundred years without any setbacks, you might just about reach my level."

The look of dejection on Zhao Da's face deepened, and he wandered off without a farewell.

Qing Shu, feeling a twinge of sympathy, questioned, "Is it really okay to crush his spirits like that?"

Qin Mu shrugged, "I've already softened the blow as much as I could."

"What if he loses all motivation and never recovers?" Qing Shu inquired, her lips pursed in concern.

"If someone can be taken down by a mere word, then they might as well give up their training; they're bound to meet their end sooner or later!"

Qing Shu, upon seeing Qin Mu's resolute look, stuck out her tongue and fell silent.

About ten minutes later, Qin Mu sensed it was time to act. He bellowed, "All Skyhaven Clan disciples, assemble before me within three minutes!"

Qin Mu's voice reverberated through Stormwrack, prompting every Skyhaven Clan disciple to spring into action and rally. They were motivated by the simple fact that following Qin Mu meant a hearty meal!

After the Skyhaven Clan disciples had assembled, Qin Mu sent a telepathic message to the Ling sisters, "Ling sisters, have you secured both the poison and the antidote?"

The Ling sisters received Qin Mu's message and silently nodded in response.

Qin Mu continued telepathically, "Now, distribute one antidote pill to each Skyhaven Clan disciple."

The Ling sisters nodded again and proceeded to hand out the pills.

The antidote pills from Stormwrack were distinct from common antidotes; they were smaller and specifically formulated to counteract their sect's poison.

Observing the disciples' jubilant reactions, Qin Mu declared outright, "Now! We march on Stormwrack Sect!"

There was no debate this time; their faith in Qin Mu was absolute.

Meanwhile, in the great hall of Stormwrack Sect.

Zhang Lei bellowed, "What are you saying? Skyhaven Clan is attacking Stormwrack Sect?"

Scout Lee Mu, shaking, confirmed, "Yes, the Skyhaven Clan is indeed launching an assault on Stormwrack Sect."

"What's the status of the battle?"

"Master, I'm not sure. I didn't dare to approach too closely."

Lee Mu felt a chill recalling the scene.

Enraged, Zhang Lei commanded, "Lee Mu, take all the elders and go into hiding. If trouble arises, crush this signal, and I will be alerted."

Lee Mu acknowledged the order and led the disciples and elders away.

Once outside Stormwrack Sect, Lee Mu sighed heavily, pondering whether Stormwrack Sect could possibly prevail.

At that moment, Qin Mu was leading the Skyhaven Clan disciples toward Stormwrack Sect. Midway, he took an unexpected detour, circling widely before returning to the path leading to Stormwrack Sect.

This time, no one raised any doubts about Qin Mu's actions. They understood that there was a method to his every move. Their role was simple: to follow orders without question, exert a little effort, and in return, they would be rewarded with food.

Before long, Qin Mu led the Skyhaven Clan disciples to the base of Stormwrack's mountain.

"Take the pills the Ling sisters just distributed to you," Qin Mu instructed the disciples. "Like before, wait for two explosions, then launch your attack. For now, remain still and silent here."

He then communicated telepathically to the Ling sisters: "Once we breach Stormwrack, spread your poison without restraint. The more chaos you create, the better the disciples' chances of survival."

The Ling sisters surveyed the Skyhaven Clan disciples and responded with a firm, "Understood!"

"Now, elders, fall in line. We're off to set the explosives!"

The elders lined up behind Qin Mu and made their way toward Stormwrack.

The gatekeeper disciples of Stormwrack were far more vigilant than their counterparts, calling out from a distance, "Identify yourselves! State your names or we will initiate an attack!"

Yet, the elders had not yet reached the range necessary to unleash their Draconic Inferno. Undeterred and silent, Qin Mu led the elders forward.

The gatekeeper, not one to hesitate, activated the sect protecting formation and launched an attack at Qin Mu and his companions.

Confronted with the oncoming Orb of Light, Qin Mu could only exclaim, "Damn!" as he leaped to intercept it.

The elders of the Skyhaven Clan didn't pause. Upon entering their attack range, they unleashed the Draconic Inferno in unison, without needing any command.

Massive fire dragons, fierce and snarling, surged toward Stormwrack's sect protecting formation. The disciples were left utterly bewildered, wondering when the Skyhaven Clan had acquired such formidable fire dragon mages.

In their confusion, they were swiftly dispatched from this world.

Stormwrack trembled fiercely. Zhang Lei, seated in the main hall, sprang to his feet in alarm and bellowed, "The Skyhaven Clan has come! Rally the disciples to defend!"

Zhang Lei's cries had some effect, albeit minimal. The Stormwrack had already dispatched numerous disciples, leaving their ranks thin.

Moreover, with the Left Protector gone and the Right Protector, Sun Xing, locked away in the Aetherium Gaol, Stormwrack's elite combat strength was no longer a match.

As the sect protecting formation shattered, Zhang Lei was struck by a moment of dazed contemplation, whispering to himself, "Could it be that fate has decreed the end of my Stormwrack?"

Seized by madness, he charged out, intent on a bloody vengeance. He was determined to slaughter every last disciple of the Skyhaven Clan.

No sooner had Zhang Lei stepped from the grand hall than Qin Mu fixed his gaze upon him.
