C2 10 Times Vitality Force Feedback!

"I see," Xu Renli said after a moment of silence, his voice grave. "Your grandfather was a friend of mine. Now that he's passed on and left you in my care, I will certainly treat you as if you were my own kin... Mu Yueqi, I ask you, would you be willing to take me as your master?"

The Grandmaster System required the recruitment of disciples to gain feedback. Mu Yueqi was a familiar face, making her the perfect candidate to test the system's utility for him.

"Become your disciple? Yes, of course!" Mu Yueqi exclaimed, her initial shock quickly turning to jubilation.

Traditionally, when a renowned Martial Ancestor took on a disciple, it was customary to send out wide invitations and hold a grand ceremony with many human elites as witnesses. However, with Xu Renli's status diminished and his withdrawal from Faywyvern's inner circle, such formalities seemed unnecessary.

The following day dawned with a mist that draped over the summit of Boundless Mountain like a sheer white veil.

In a clearing in front of the bamboo grove, Xu Renli was seated on an aged vine chair, a table before him bearing a cup of tea from which steam gently rose.

"Master," said Mu Yueqi, her expression earnest as she offered Xu Renli the tea. "Please, enjoy your tea."

"Thank you," he replied, nodding. He lifted the cup to his lips, about to speak, when suddenly...

Mu Yueqi extended a delicate hand, her fingertips pale and striking as she gazed at him eagerly, a wide grin on her face. "Master, a disciple's initiation without a gift is incomplete. It's like a woman without her first time, subject to scorn."

Xu Renli nodded, then paused, sensing something amiss. His expression soured as he rebuked her. "That's preposterous!"

"Master, do you possess any formidable combat techniques? Ones that could decimate legions, allowing one to emerge victorious from the heart of battle, time and again?"

"No."

"How about a secret art that can amplify one's combat strength tenfold or more?"

"Also no."

"And Divine Weapons? You were once a mighty Martial Ancestor. Surely you don't lack for such treasures. A thousand may be too many to ask for, but perhaps you could spare ten or eight for me..."

"Enough!"

Xu Renli could no longer contain himself, his face darkening as he rebuked sharply.

"Combat skills, secret techniques, and Divine Weapons are currently beyond your reach. As for the initiation ceremony, I won't be stingy. I assure you, you won't be disappointed. Now, come here and lean your head forward."

"Ah?"

Mu Yueqi was momentarily taken aback.

Was there a specific posture required for this initiation ceremony?

With a mix of skepticism and trepidation, she followed Xu Renli's instructions and timidly extended her head, much like her pet Persian cat instinctively seeking comfort from the palm of its owner.

Suddenly, a warm surge of energy descended upon her crown, sending shivers through her body as if struck by lightning.

"Beep. Full-frontal assessment initiating..."

"Matching Mu Yueqi's various indicators to the appropriate system..."

"System successfully deployed!"

Xu Renli withdrew his hand, pondering to himself.

"It worked? That was quick! The 'Qi and Blood System'—just by the name, it seems to be something special in terms of Qi and blood."

The system's feedback was crucial, and even the usually composed Xu Renli couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves.

In that instant, Mu Yueqi's eyes widened with a mix of astonishment and incredulity as a cold, metallic voice echoed in her mind.

"Qi and Blood System acquired!"

"Initiating forced binding... Binding successful!"

"Warning! This system is irremovable, must not be disclosed, and is effective for life!"

After quickly grasping the system's intricacies, Mu Yueqi's cheeks flushed with excitement, her breath quickening.

Good heavens!

The so-called Qi and Blood System had just doubled her body's capacity for Qi and blood!

For instance, as a High-Level Martial Disciple, her Qi and blood strength was at 80cal, merely 20cal shy of the Martial Disciple's limit.

Now, with the Qi and Blood System, her new limit soared to 200cal, surpassing the Martial Disciple threshold and nearly rivaling some Low-Level Martial Cultivators.

And this was just the beginning. As a mere Martial Disciple, the gap was a mere 100cal. Should she advance to Martial Cultivator, Martial Master, or even Grand Martial Master, the disparity could stretch into the thousands, even ten thousand cals!

The worth of this item was beyond measure!

"Master, I misjudged you," Mu Yueqi admitted, her face awash with embarrassment.

Who would dare call this elder stingy or miserly now?

The gift he presented for the apprenticeship ceremony was nothing short of spectacular, far more fitting for her current needs than any battle skill, secret technique, or Divine Weapon.

"Focus on your cultivation! The Martial Disciple stage is where you lay your foundation. Be patient and steady. Got it?" Xu Renli admonished, his expression stern.

"Yes, Master."

In that moment, Mu Yueqi's perception of her master soared immeasurably, elevating him to the stature of a towering mountain.

But a mere fifteen minutes later, Mu Yueqi was mentally berating Hei Tieta over and over, her frustration boiling over.

On the training ground, Xu Renli wielded a bamboo sword, his strength contained at the pinnacle level of a Martial Disciple, as he launched relentless attacks on Mu Yueqi from every angle.

Each strike was swifter and sharper than the last. Mu Yueqi, lacking in combat experience, was overwhelmed, barely able to parry one or two out of ten strikes, her wrists aching and sweat drenching her.

"Stop!"

Thud!

"Ouch! Please, stop, Master!"

Thud!

"It's too painful! I can't keep up... I can't..."

Thud, thud!

An afternoon of grueling training left Mu Yueqi battered and bruised, her skin mottled with shades of purple and blue, her face swollen.

She slumped to the ground, drained and sobbing, the tears streaming down her face.

"Hei Tieta, you're a devil! I don't want to train anymore, I want to go home..."

As she lay there, a pair of large feet came into view.

A stern face loomed over her, as imposing as the notorious black-faced Li Kui.

"Time for a bath."

By the bamboo house's entrance stood a massive tub, its pungent herbal aroma filling the air. The dark, viscous liquid within seemed hardly inviting.

"It's filthy! I won't do it..."

Mu Yueqi shook her head vehemently, refusing outright.

But in an instant, she was hoisted by her collar and unceremoniously dropped into the tub, eliciting a squeal akin to a pig being scalded.

"Murder! They've killed a fellow disciple! Help!"

Mu Yueqi screamed at the top of her lungs, seething with hatred for Xu Renli. She shot a venomous glare at the towering figure before her, wishing she could dismember her despicable master.

"This concoction I've prepared for you is designed to enhance your Qi and blood. It contains numerous precious herbs and is worth over a million..."

A nonchalant voice floated over.

Taken aback, Mu Yueqi ceased her struggle. She compliantly nestled into the wooden tub, feeling waves of warmth coursing through her, leaving her enveloped in a cozy, soothing embrace.

Quality always came at a price, and the best was never cheap. That was an undeniable fact.

"Beep! Eldest disciple Mu Yueqi's Qi and blood strength +1 card, yielding a tenfold return of Qi and blood strength, totaling 10 cards!"

In that moment, Xu Renli's heart pounded with astonishment.

What? A tenfold feedback ratio?

The Grandmaster System was truly formidable!
