A wolf's whip is not a wolf's thing, but a special kind of whip.

It was unrealistic to expect them to beat the wolves with whips. Once they appeared, they would be in packs. Even if they had a pole or a cannon, it wouldn't be of any use, much less a whip.

A wolf's whip was usually tied with a metal whistle, and a swing could make a tiger's roar. He couldn't kill the wolf
