Heavenly Fire City was one of the thirty-two cities within the Azure Nether Country. Guu Tianyi hailed from the Guu family, one of the city's two most prominent families.

His father, Guu Yuntian, was the clan leader of the Guu family.

Suddenly, the courtyard door was kicked open, and five individuals strode in.

The man in the lead wore extravagant attire and carried a folding fan. He had the air of a dandy about him. Despite his youthful appearance, his demeanor was one of sheer arrogance.

He was Guu Linyuan, grandson of the family's Third Elder.

Upon noticing Guu Tianyi emerging from the house, Guu Linyuan paused, then a frosty smile crept across his face.

"Guu Tianyi, I never thought you'd survive. I have a matter to discuss with you."

At his words, Guu Linyuan's entourage snickered behind him, their gazes at Guu Tianyi a mix of mockery, anticipation, and scorn.

Guu Tianyi and Guu Linyuan were neither peers nor friends. Guu Tianyi, sensing the malice behind Guu Linyuan's odd smile, braced himself. "If you have something to say, say it."

"Guu Tianyi, I want you out of Purple Flame House! From now on, it's mine," declared Guu Linyuan, smirking.

Purple Flame House had always been the dwelling of the Guu family patriarch. Its significance was heightened by its proximity to the ancestral shrine, where the Soul Suppressing Stone resided. This stone was the source of Guu Tianyi's Martial Soul, and cultivating near it, amidst the spirits of his ancestors, doubled his training efficiency.

Yet, Purple Flame House was more than just a residence; it was a symbol of the clan leader's lineage. Despite his lineage, Guu Linyuan had no claim to it.

With this in mind, Guu Tianyi's gaze turned peculiar. He sized up Guu Linyuan and scoffed, "Have you lost your mind, Guu Linyuan?"

"The one who's lost his mind is you," retorted Guu Linyuan. "Your father, Guu Yuntian, has been taken by the Imperial City guards. He's no longer our clan leader. The whole of Heavenly Fire City knows of your disgraceful actions towards Ningjing in the Star Cloud Sect. You, without even a Martial Soul, are nothing but trash. Your presence in Purple Flame House is a waste of divine grace."

"With the Grand Elder and Second Elder in seclusion, the Guu family is under my grandfather's control. Guu Tianyi, leave Purple Flame House now, or I'll force you out!"

Guu Tianyi's heart skipped a beat at these words.

Confusion plagued him. His father had always been kind, yet now, with his injuries so grave, his father was nowhere to be seen.

Guu Tianyi declared with clarity.

A wave of inexplicable fear washed over Guu Linyuan as he witnessed the scene. The Purple Polar Heavenly Flame Dragon inherently overpowered the Green Flame Jade Python.

Yet, suppressing his fear, he retorted, "You've stolen another's Martial Soul, and now you're facing the consequences. Without a Martial Soul of your own, how do you intend to battle me?"

A smile played on Guu Tianyi's lips. It was time for them to witness the might of a Top-grade Beast Martial Soul.

The dragon's roar reverberated as the purple flames throbbed with Spiritual Energy. A dragon shadow, baring fangs and brandishing claws, materialized in the fiery glow.

But to everyone's dismay, the creature that emerged was a letdown.

This so-called Purple Polar Heavenly Flame Dragon, though a dragon, was less than a foot long. It was dwarfed by the Green Flame Jade Python's teeth. Despite its Dragon Scales, Dragon Horns, and whiskers, it was minuscule.

Even Guu Tianyi felt he had been hoodwinked by the system.

In an instant, the Purple Polar Heavenly Flame Dragon transformed into a streak of purple lightning, piercing straight through the Green Flame Jade Python.

In a flash, the colossal Green Flame Jade Python dissipated into a puff of green smoke. Guu Linyuan, caught mid-laughter, grimaced as he coughed up blood, his complexion turning deathly pale.

The obliteration of his Martial Soul had inflicted significant harm.

Disbelief etched on his face, Guu Linyuan stared at the Purple Polar Heavenly Flame Dragon circling above Guu Tianyi's head.

Before he could finish his sentence, the sharp sound of a slap cut through the air.

The force of the blow caused Guu Linyuan's cheek to swell, bringing him abruptly to his senses. He understood with crystal clarity that he stood no chance against Guu Tianyi.

Threats were futile against Guu Tianyi.

Perhaps if he pleaded for mercy, his suffering might be lessened.

"Brother Tianyi, we are family, after all. Please, show me mercy just this once."

"And if I were the one defeated, would you show me any mercy?"

With that, Guu Tianyi delivered another slap to Guu Linyuan, this time with all his might, sending him flying out of the Purple Flame House. Guu Linyuan's henchmen scrambled to follow him out.

Guu Tianyi sneered, "You were so eager to snatch the treasures from my Cosmos Bag, now it's only fair you leave something in return."

A cascade of electronic tones followed. Guu Tianyi couldn't help but marvel at Guu Linyuan's wealth.
