Of the nine great powers of the Dark Demon Region, Empyrean Alliance was led by Ling Dao. He was the Chief, Demonic Sect, Ancient Devil Sect, Shadow Devil Sect, Flame Devil Sect, Azure Devil Sect, Sand Devil Sect, Jade Devil Sect, and the Demon Palace. There was a Deputy Chief each of the eight powers, and only the Illusory Demon Sect did not have a Deputy Chief.
