C14 White Tiger Flowing Blade

As Qin Feng was about to step away, he suddenly felt the fabric of his clothing being tugged at the corner, rendering him unable to move. Glancing down, he was taken aback.

Wasn't this the Little White Tiger from the Beast Realm Division? When had it followed him? Had the little creature been at his side when he activated the Teleportation Array?

Qin Feng held his forehead, a touch of resignation in his expression.

It was far too late to consider returning to the Beast Realm Division to take the little one back. Night was the time when Devil Beasts prowled for their prey. Going back now would be tantamount to a death sentence. Besides, the Little White Tiger seemed to be just a cub, quite frail. It was probably a low-tier Spirit Beast. If he were to return it, it wouldn't stand a chance against the Devil Beasts.

The little fellow cocked its head to look at Qin Feng, its tail's white flame flickering energetically. It then stretched out a paw and gave it a lick...

Qin Feng let out a sigh, crouched down, and gently stroked the Little Tiger Cub's head, asking in a deep voice, "Little one, do you want to come with me?"

The Little Tiger Cub, perhaps not fully understanding, playfully spun around and then nuzzled its fluffy cheek against Qin Feng's leg.

"Well, let's go together then."

Qin Feng had never really had any true friends. Apart from Senior Brother Liu Hen, who had left the Imperial Heaven Sect, no one else seemed willing to offer him genuine friendship.

Leading the way, Qin Feng watched as the Little White Tiger, seemingly newborn, wobbled along yet remained steadfastly behind him.

With a laugh, Qin Feng cradled his head in his hands and strode forward, asking, "I can't keep calling you Little White Tiger forever, can I? How about I give you a name?"

The Little White Tiger appeared to grasp Qin Feng's words, responding with a soft growl.

The youth by its side flashed a sunny smile, his lips curving as he pondered for a moment. "What about Flowing Blade? Sounds nice, doesn't it?"

"Roar~" The Little White Tiger looked up and let out a milky growl.

Opening its mouth, the Little White Tiger showed off its tiny, still-growing teeth, clearly fond of its new name.

"Alright, let's call it Flowing Blade."

...

In the dead of night, Qin Feng received a Feather Letter from Fu Ye.

The letter was an invitation for him to travel to the Imperial Capital on the Vast Sun Continent to attend an auction at the Red Pavilion Auction House. A carriage would be prepared the next day for their joint departure, should Qin Feng be available.

The Feather Letter was brimming with polite language, clearly showing Fu Ye's eagerness to ingratiate himself with Qin Feng, who not only held dual roles but could also forge Heaven Defying Level magic weapons.

Qin Feng had been residing at the Imperial Heaven Sect in Li City, never venturing out of the city in over a decade, much less to the heart of the Vast Sun Continent, the Imperial Capital.

Now presented with such a golden opportunity, how could he refuse? Besides, he was being invited to the Red Pavilion Auction House in the Imperial Capital, a renowned mercenary trading fair known worldwide. The Red Pavilion's shops were ubiquitous across the Vast Sun Continent, with outposts even beyond its borders.

The Red Pavilion's auctions featured high-level Spirit Treasure Magic Artifacts, arcane tomes, and elite Spirit Beast eggs, catering to the cultivation-centric society of the Vast Sun Continent.

Qin Feng promptly replied to Fu Ye's Feather Letter, confirming his attendance for the following day and expressing gratitude for the opportunity.

He watched Little Flowing Blade playfully frolic, then approached to feed it a slice of pork belly freshly delivered by the innkeeper.

Observing its endearing struggle to gobble down the meat, Qin Feng sighed deeply.

If only he were a beast tamer, he thought. Typically, beast tamers possessed a Spatial Ring for their Spirit Beasts, providing them a place to dwell. Such rings were exclusive to beast tamers.

With a Spatial Ring, Little Flowing Blade wouldn't have to constantly trail behind him in full view, looking like an abandoned creature.

...

The following morning, Qin Feng rose early, scooped up the still-slumbering Little Flowing Blade, and draped it in a black cloth. After settling his account, he stepped out of the inn and made his way into the black market.

As Qin Feng entered the Jiuli Treasure Tool Shop, he noticed Fu Ye busily preparing a parcel, organizing travel necessities and funds. Outside the shop, two carriages stood ready for departure.

Fu Ye glanced at Qin Feng but did not recognize him at first. He advised, "Young Master, I must urgently travel afar. Should you require anything, please inform my shop assistant. He will assist you in selecting a suitable treasure."

Qin Feng, disguising his voice as he had during his first visit to the Jiuli Treasure Tool, said in a lowered tone, "Boss, how could you be so muddled? I am Mr. Qin."

It took a moment for Fu Ye to register the revelation, and by then, Qin Feng was already doubled over with laughter.

Fu Ye had not anticipated that the individual proficient in dual professions would be a dashing young man in his twenties, rather than an elderly sage with white hair or a middle-aged man bearing the marks of time.

The shock gave way to disbelief. It was astounding that a man so young could forge Spirit Treasure Magic Artifacts of the Heaven Defying Level, a feat even esteemed Artifact Forging Masters would struggle to achieve. This youth could produce not only Heaven Defying Level artifacts but also a multitude of Limitless Grade Spirit Treasures. Moreover, he held the dual titles of Profound Master and Artifact Forging Master. With a few more years of growth, his power would be unimaginable.

"Excellent, excellent... You are truly a prodigious talent!" exclaimed Fu Ye.

"Actually, Mr. Fu, you can simply call me Qin Feng," Qin Feng gently suggested.

"Alright, Qin Feng. Now that I'm aware of your capabilities, allow me to offer a word of caution," Fu Ye said, pausing thoughtfully before continuing, "Despite your formidable abilities and talent, you must never become complacent. Provoking the envy of a powerful sect could lead to dire consequences."

Qin Feng was taken aback, not expecting this seemingly cunning man to be genuinely considerate and willing to offer guidance.

"Understood, Mr. Fu. I'll take your advice to heart and remain vigilant against pride and impatience."

"Hmm..."

Before departing, Qin Feng stood beside the carriage, drawing back the black cloth from his embrace.

Little Flowing Blade had already opened its eyes, fixing a steady gaze on Qin Feng. With a chuckle, Qin Feng lifted the cloth once more, shrouding Little Flowing Blade from view, and whispered affectionately, "Little thing."

Two carriages awaited. Glancing from one to the other, Qin Feng unhesitatingly climbed into the rear carriage.

As he stepped into the carriage, Qin Feng caught sight of a pair of familiar black eyes.
