C5 Artifact Realm Division

A vast expanse of Spirit Artifacts and Spirit Treasures were bound by the Spirit Locking Curse, along with Sword Souls sealed within the Profound Purity Pool...

Qin Feng immediately recognized this place as the Artifact Realm.

It appeared he had teleported in such haste that he hadn't checked the destination before being whisked away, landing him here.

His initial intention was to escape the God Abandoning Land, but then he thought that perhaps the Artifact Realm might yield some exceptional items to craft into a heaven-defying magical artifact.

However...

Qin Feng extended his hand to touch a sword embedded in the black Profound Stone ground, but before his fingers could graze it, the Spirit Locking Curse repelled his touch. A tingling electric sensation spread through his hand, leaving his fingers numb.

Indeed, without the Spirit Lock given by his master, he couldn't break the Spirit Locking Curse to claim the Spirit Treasure. And even if he could claim the Spirit Treasure, the Artifact Spirit within wouldn't allow him to take it easily.

Disastrous... Absolutely disastrous...

Qin Feng noticed several Spirit Artifacts and Magic Artifacts on the ground, unbound by the Spirit Locking Curse, indicating their lower grade. Yet, for Qin Feng, these were still precious, suitable for forging.

With that thought, Qin Feng bent down and gathered the unsealed artifacts, hastily stuffing them into his Secret Bag...

As Qin Feng continued his scavenging spree, a thunderous noise ahead caught his attention.

"What's happening up ahead?" Qin Feng wondered aloud, his hands never pausing in their task.

*Beep! Beep! Beep!*

"The system has detected a powerful force nearby," the system alerted. "The source of the energy is the Artifact Spirit of an Ancient Level Broken Treasure."

"Ancient?" Qin Feng gasped in astonishment.

Truly, one doesn't know the power of the divine until entering the God Abandoning Land. To think that this mountain harbored an Ancient Level Spirit Treasure! If word got out, it would surely unleash chaos and bloodshed. Alas, it's a shame it's only a remnant of its former glory.

It was quite peculiar for such a commotion to arise. After Qin Feng had finished dealing with the items at hand, he followed the source of the noise.

Upon reaching a massive black Profound Stone, Qin Feng used it as cover to observe the disturbance outside. There, he spotted Nie Yuv, who had been taunting him earlier.

Nie Yuv was engaged in a standoff with a Dragon Body Face Spirit, wielding a long sword and clearly struggling. His armor was in shambles, and blood stained the corner of his mouth. Gritting his teeth, he put up a fierce resistance.

Qin Feng couldn't help but chuckle to himself.

Nie Yuv had been full of contempt, hurling insults and slanders at him just moments ago. Now, it seemed karma had come full circle.

Suddenly, a fierce gust of wind swept by, causing the black Profound Stone beside Qin Feng to show hairline fractures—a testament to the wind's formidable power.

Qin Feng's gaze sharpened.

There it was...

A large sword, its Spirit Curse broken, with a rusty green crystal set into the hilt. The blade was snapped in half, clearly a damaged relic. The Dragon Body Face Spirit had emerged from this very sword, revealing itself to be the Sword Soul of the damaged weapon.

This must be the Ancient Level Broken Treasure the system had alluded to.

So, Nie Yuv had foolishly broken the Spirit Curse on the relic, unleashing the Sword Soul of the ancient Broken Treasure, which led to his current predicament—pinned to the ground and taking a beating.

An idea sparked in Qin Feng's mind. If he could sneakily retrieve the Broken Treasure while the Dragon Body Face Spirit and Nie Yuv were distracted, he might be able to reforge it into a superior Spirit Treasure. That would certainly be a lucrative gain.

Without hesitation, Qin Feng pulled a magical artifact from his Secret Bag—a cloak of invisibility that could hide his presence. It was one of his proudest creations.

Donning the cloak, he dashed out, snatched the Broken Treasure, and felt its substantial weight. His face bore the marks of the wind's sharp lashes, but he paid them no mind. For convenience, he stashed the treasure in his Secret Bag and swiftly made his escape.

Upon witnessing the disappearance of the Broken Treasure it had been resting on, the Dragon Body Face Spirit flew into a rage, seemingly intent on claiming Nie Yuv's life.

Nie Yuv, perplexed by the turn of events, realized there was no time to ponder the situation further.

Qin Feng's lips curled into a slight smile as he grasped the weighty Secret Bag with immense joy. He wasn't concerned about Nie Yuv suffering fatal injuries at the hands of the Dragon Body Face Spirit. Nie Yuv was protected by his Spirit Rank Level Eight foundation and was not in danger of dying anytime soon. At worst, he might sustain some injuries. Moreover, without the Broken Treasure to sustain it, the Dragon Body Face Spirit would soon dissipate, and the Broken Treasure would reassemble itself. By then, it was likely to be ground down and reborn as a new spirit.

Qin Feng recalled his mentor's teachings that the Beast Realm Division was inhabited by Spirit Beasts, Devil Beasts, and Divine Beasts of Grade Three, each possessing a Spirit Core, Devil Core, or Heaven Core. The older they were, the more valuable their cores became. Without a core, they would perish.

These three types of cores were essential in the crafting of Spirit Treasures, with the power of the attached spirit determining the Treasure's might.

It stood to reason that the Beast Realm Division would have an abundance of these cores, remnants of Spirit Beasts and Devil Beasts. Securing just one of these cores would be a windfall. Yet, the Beast Realm Division was fraught with peril. Encountering a Spirit Beast might be manageable, but a confrontation with a Devil Beast could prove fatal, even with multiple lives at his disposal.

With these thoughts, Qin Feng resolved to head back to his sect. He had already collected a significant number of Spirit Treasure fragments that day. Forging them might yield impressive results. Additionally, he urgently needed Black Gold Stone and had to devise a plan to sell some of the less essential Spirit Treasures.

Approaching the Teleportation Magic Array, Qin Feng activated it. A brief disorientation later, he found himself at the entrance to the God Abandoning Land.

"Why hasn't Senior Brother emerged yet? We've been waiting for ages."

"I don't see what the big deal is. It's just picking up a Spirit Artifact, right?"

"Hey, you guys, look over there. Isn't that the guy who was scavenging for trash in the sect?"

Whispers and murmurs reached Qin Feng's ears, making him realize for the first time just how irritating it was to have the incessant buzzing of flies right by his ear.
