In Purple Edge Star, almost every cultivation sect had an Elders Guild. However, the Elders Guild and Sect Leader's status were different.

Most of the Elders were only able to control Sect Leader's rights, but if Sect Leader was determined to do one thing, the Elders Guild could not stop him, especially when Sect Leader's cultivation realm was higher than the Elders of the Elders Guild
