C11 Guu Tianxiong

"I don't believe the Gu family has anyone by that name. Moreover, from what I've gathered, Ye Luo got into a scuffle at Guu Tianxiong's Supreme Elite Club today. It appears that Liu Kun's hand was injured by him," the middle-aged man explained.

"Really?" Ziyuan's smile broadened. "To think there's such a person at Linhai University. How come I've never come across him before? Uncle Feng, could you dig a little deeper and find out more about him?"

"Miss, this Ye Luo is no ordinary individual. His capabilities are commendable, but he's too conspicuous and seems to enjoy stirring up trouble. It would be wise to steer clear of him. Moreover, you've been away from the family for far too long. It's time for you to return," he advised.

Upon hearing this, Ziyuan's expression subtly shifted, and her smile vanished in an instant. "I know what I must do."

...

Ye Luo sat in the Land Rover for half an hour, eyes closed, seemingly resting. In reality, he was circulating the Nine Heavens Reincarnation Art.

In just half a day, Ye Luo had managed to elevate his strength to the late Houtian stage.

In the late Houtian stage, a punch would normally deliver a force of 2000 kg. Yet, Ye Luo sensed that his punch now packed at least 4000 kg of force, if not more, and it felt incredibly natural to wield such power.

"The Nine Heavens Reincarnation Art truly is formidable," Ye Luo mused to himself.

In his past life, the cultivation technique he practiced was also strong, typically making him about twenty percent stronger than his peers at the same level.

But the Nine Heavens Reincarnation Art was far beyond a mere twenty percent increase—it effectively doubled his strength.

With his current prowess, Ye Luo was confident that against another late Houtian expert, he could disable their entire arms with a single punch, or even deliver a fatal blow. He believed he could even hold his own against an opponent in the Early Period of the Innate Stage.

Naturally, facing someone in the Late Period of the Innate Stage would prove to be a significant challenge.

Ye Luo was far from smug, well aware that the Houtian realm was nothing more than an ordinary person's achievement. Even the Xiantian realm, in the eyes of a true Martial Cultivator, barely scratched the surface of the beginner level. Only the cultivation of Genuine Qi marked the true beginning. What's more, the path of cultivation grew increasingly challenging, and Ye Luo knew his current edge might soon vanish.

The Land Rover came to a halt before the gates of an expansive estate. Guided by Liu Kun, Ye Luo approached the manor with a sense of familiarity—after all, he had visited this place in his past life, possibly knowing it even better than Liu Kun and his companions.

As they were escorted inside by Liu Kun and his men, the opulence of the manor was enough to draw sighs of admiration even from the well-acquainted Liu Kun. Yet, Ye Luo's expression betrayed no hint of astonishment or awe. To him, the extreme luxury seemed devoid of allure.

His attention was briefly captured by a few alluring maids with long legs and slender waists, but not out of vanity. Having lived over a millennium in his previous existence and reached the half-step Sovereign realm, Ye Luo had seen treasures beyond counting, rendering the gold and jewels before him uninspiring.

They soon reached a room on the third floor. Ye Luo recognized it as Guu Tianxiong's private clinic, accessible only to his inner circle and those closest to him.

As Ye Luo and Liu Kun were about to enter, they were intercepted by an unfamiliar face.

"Who are you, and where is Master Guu?" Liu Kun asked, taken aback.

"Mr. Gu is undergoing treatment with my master. You cannot disturb them," the young man declared haughtily.

"Your master is treating Master Guu?" Liu Kun asked, his brow furrowing in surprise.

"Indeed. The renowned healer, Mr. Xie Quanzhang, has just returned from overseas. I arranged for him to come and treat Master Guu," explained a middle-aged woman.

Recognizing her, Liu Kun's demeanor shifted to one of respect, for he knew her as Master Guu's wife, a woman whose reputation was every bit as formidable as Master Guu's.

"Xie Quanzhang?" Ye Luo pondered briefly, recognizing the name. In his past life, he had dabbled in medicine because of someone and had come across the name Xie Quanzhang.

"Please hold on a moment," Mrs. Gu interjected. "Let's discuss your matter after Mr. Xie finishes his treatment."

Liu Kun gave Ye Luo a reassuring smile. "Just a moment."

Ye Luo nodded and moved aside, finding a window that offered a view into the treatment room. He paused there, watching intently until his expression turned grave.

"This can't go on. If he continues like this, Guu Tianxiong's spine will be irreparably damaged!" Ye Luo blurted out, alarming everyone present.

Ignoring their reactions, Ye Luo made for the treatment room door, but a young man quickly blocked his path.

"My master is not to be disturbed during treatment!" the young man declared, his anger palpable.

"Disturbed? If he keeps this up, the patient will be ruined. Step aside!" Ye Luo retorted, his patience wearing thin.

"You're out of line! You have no right to criticize my master's medical expertise. Leave now, or I won't hold back," the young man warned, his body radiating a formidable aura.

Ye Luo and Liu Kun were taken aback, especially Liu Kun, who sensed a dangerous vibe from the young man.

"I won't repeat myself. If you dare interrupt my master's lifesaving work, I'll take you down!" the young man threatened, his tone domineering.

"Mid-stage Houtian realm – impressive for someone so young," Ye Luo mused internally, noting the young man's excessive hostility likely stemmed from his abilities, which fed his arrogance.

The woman nearby glared at Ye Luo, her eyes flickering with anger. Ye Luo could sense that in the adjacent room, several onlookers were ready to pounce at a moment's notice.

Yet, without a moment's hesitation, Ye Luo stepped up and pushed the door open.

As Ye Luo stepped forward, the young man launched a straight punch with his right hand aimed at Ye Luo's waist.

The waist is a vulnerable spot on a person's body; a hit there could easily incapacitate or injure someone. The young man was certain Ye Luo would evade, and the moment Ye Luo moved to dodge, he planned to seize Ye Luo's shoulder with his other hand and hurl him away.

Yet, as his fist neared its target, Ye Luo remained utterly still.

"He must be an average Joe, too slow to even dodge," the young man mused. If that was the case, he could knock Ye Luo down with this single punch, sparing himself the effort of a follow-up move.

"Watch out," Liu Kun warned from the sidelines.

But his words fell on deaf ears; the young man's punch had already found its mark on Ye Luo's waist, hitting the precise acupoint.

A slight smile played on Ye Luo's lips. It wasn't that he couldn't dodge; he simply chose not to. His power had surged to the late stages of the Houtian realm, and his punch could now deliver a force of 4,000 kilograms. Yet, he wondered about his defensive capabilities. This was the perfect opportunity to test them against the punch from a mid-Houtian realm youth.

The impact caused Ye Luo a minor discomfort, akin to an ordinary person accidentally bumping into a table.

"Eh?" The young man was taken aback. Ye Luo hadn't been sent flying, nor had he uttered a single groan.

"Your accuracy is decent, but you're lacking in speed and power. You need more practice," Ye Luo commented before spinning around and delivering his own punch to the young man's waist acupoint.

"Ah!"

The young man grunted as he was sent hurtling backward, only stopping when he collided with a wall seven or eight meters away.
