C4 Iron Fist Liu Kun
"Slap!"
Xue Lan's silence would have been preferable, but her audacity to claim she was Ann Xin's best friend ignited Ye Luo's fury to its breaking point.
Xue Lan bore significant responsibility for Ann Xin's death in her previous life. Seduced by the tens of thousands of yuan from Gu Jun, she had delivered Ann Xin straight into the lion's den. Ye Luo's loathing for Xue Lan even surpassed his hatred for Gu Jun.
With a swift slap, he sent Xue Lan crashing into the corner of the private room. He followed swiftly, seized her hair, and repeatedly smashed her head against the wall.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
...
After more than a dozen blows, Xue Lan's face was unrecognizable. However, Ye Luo's control ensured the beating was not fatal.
While Ye Luo was punishing Xue Lan, Gu Jun had managed to drag himself to the doorway, desperate to escape at any cost.
A crowd had gathered at the entrance, a mix of onlookers and security personnel from elite families. Witnessing Gu Jun's pitiful state and the cries from within, they collectively gasped.
"Who is that guy? How did he get so battered? Who did he cross?"
"Who knows? But whoever did this has guts, attacking someone in the Supreme Wealthy Class. This is Master Guu's turf, and I bet the attacker is in for a rough time."
"Indeed. Anyone who's ever stirred trouble on Master Guu's ground has paid dearly for it."
Hearing the bystanders, Ye Luo glanced back to see Gu Jun at the doorway, his pleas for help muffled.
"Trying to leave?" Ye Luo flung Xue Lan aside, cradled Ann Xin in his arms, and charged to the entrance. He planted his foot squarely on Gu Jun's face. "Did I say you could go?"
"Who are you to wreak havoc in the Supreme Wealthy Class? You have five seconds to think it over. Put her down and come with me, or you'll live to regret it!" A middle-aged man stepped forward, his voice stern and authoritative as he confronted Ye Luo.
"It's Iron Fist Liu Kun, one of Master Guu's most formidable enforcers. That kid's definitely in for it now," someone mused to themselves.
Liu Kun, known for his iron fists, was a legend in the circle. It was rumored that he once took on over a dozen knife-wielding thugs barehanded to protect his sister, earning his reputation in a single fight. Grateful for Master Guu's benevolence, he joined his ranks, taking charge of security.
There had been numerous occasions where individuals, bolstered by their own influence or tricks, caused disturbances on Master Guu's territory. But when Liu Kun intervened, there was no issue he couldn't resolve. Rumor had it that the number of limbs he'd broken with his iron fists was now in the triple digits.
Ye Luo had some recollection of Liu Kun from his previous life. When Ann Xin encountered trouble here, Gu Jun and his allies, relying on their family's power, walked away unscathed. It was Liu Kun who reported the incident to his boss, Guu Tianxiong, and called the authorities. Moreover, Guu Tianxiong had provided Ann Xin's family with a settlement of two hundred thousand yuan.
Ye Luo recognized that Guu Tianxiong's actions were meant to quell the situation, especially since Ann Xin's death occurred on his premises. Still, Ye Luo remembered this kindness.
"Help me, I'm a member of the Gu family, I am Gu Jun... wuwu," Gu Jun sobbed on the ground, his face a mess of tears and snot.
Liu Kun gave Gu Jun a brief look, his eyebrows knitting together. The Xiangshi Group was well-known in Linhai, and as its heir apparent, Gu Jun's humiliating defeat here was bound to be problematic.
"Liu Kun, I don't want any trouble with you. Please move aside. As for the reasons behind this altercation, you can investigate whether these scumbags deserved it," Ye Luo said calmly, maintaining a polite tone.
The onlookers gasped at Ye Luo's audacity, murmuring among themselves in disbelief.
This kid was bold, daring to speak to Liu Kun in such a manner. Was he unaware of Iron Fist Liu Kun's reputation? Even if he didn't know Liu Kun, he must have heard of Master Guu.
Liu Kun was momentarily stunned. Ye Luo's demeanor showed no fear, almost as if he considered himself beyond petty disputes with him. This unexpected attitude excited Liu Kun.
"No matter your reasons, you can't assault someone and expect to leave without consequences. Come with me. We'll thoroughly investigate the matter," Liu Kun said, bracing himself for potential conflict.
"What if I refuse to go with you?" Ye Luo's expression darkened. He respected Liu Kun to a degree, but that didn't mean Liu Kun could block his path. Ye Luo had already noticed something off about Ann Xin's condition—she must have been drugged—so he urgently needed to help her.
"Then don't blame me for what happens next." Liu Kun stepped forward, launching a punch toward Ye Luo's shoulder.
It was evident he wasn't trying to inflict serious harm, probably just aiming to restrain Ye Luo.
"Liu Kun has made his move, and what speed! Can the kid block it?"
"Highly doubtful. How many in Linhai City can stand up to Liu Kun's iron fist?"
"That's true, but the kid did knock out quite a few people. Maybe he's got some skills."
"Having some skills doesn't mean he can challenge Liu Kun. Haven't enough so-called experts been defeated by his fist over the years?"
"Bang!"
As the onlookers debated, a loud crash interrupted them. Liu Kun's fist stopped mere inches from Ye Luo's shoulder, not of his own accord, but because it was blocked by Ye Luo's own fist.
The two fists met, and although Ye Luo's appeared smaller, strength isn't solely determined by size.
"What just happened? Who won?"
"Is that even a question? Liu Kun must have won. But the fact that the kid blocked his punch is impressive."
At that moment, however, Liu Kun's face was twisted in pain, as he felt at least three of his finger bones break. Known for his iron fist, capable of delivering a force of over 800 kilograms and piercing through steel, Liu Kun was now faced with broken fingers.
Meanwhile, Ye Luo's left arm was still holding a woman, and his calm demeanor indicated he hadn't even put forth his full effort.
"Are you one of Guu Tianxiong's men?" Ye Luo asked, even though he had an inkling.
Liu Kun nodded dumbly, still trying to process what had happened.
"Go back and ask Guu Tianxiong if he can endure the agonizing pain at the Soul Gate and Soul House acupoints every night. If he can, then forget I said anything. If he wants to come after me, he's welcome to try; but if he can't bear the pain, tell him to come find me. I'm Ye Luo, and I trust with your capabilities, locating me won't be difficult."
After delivering his punch, Ye Luo withdrew his fist, glanced down at Gu Jun lying at his feet, and then, with a lift of his leg, he stepped down hard on Gu Jun's groin.
Gu Jun screamed in agony, a sound akin to that of a pig being slaughtered.
The crowd was dumbfounded. Even in the presence of Liu Kun, Ye Luo dared to strike with such brutality. The force of that stomp seemed to resonate with the sickening crunch of eggs being crushed.
What puzzled them the most was Liu Kun's lack of intervention; he just stood there, watching without interference.
Ye Luo paid no attention to the astonished onlookers. Cradling Ann Xin in his arms, he began to make his way out.
A few security guards, still unclear about the situation, quickly stepped forward to block Ye Luo's path.
"Step aside, let him pass," Liu Kun ordered. The guards, without a word of protest, gave way. The crowd watched in silence as Ye Luo, with Ann Xin securely in his embrace, disappeared from their view.
