C15 Exorcism
The banquet was halfway through when a small accident occurred.
Sixth Uncle was so drunk that he went insane at the banquet, swearing to take Luo Yi as his goddaughter.
Sixth Aunt was so angry that she tugged at his ear and went back. Before she left, she even gave me some money.
"Take it, I know it won't be easy for you to live in the city," Sixth Aunt said, holding onto Sixth Uncle's hand with one hand and giving me money with the other.
I couldn't help but hold the money in my hand.
Only when I get back here can I truly feel the warmth of my home. Only my loved ones will take into account how tired you are.
After the farce, everyone continued to eat and drink.
On the other hand, Luo Yi Yi moved closer to me and whispered, "Why does your Sixth Uncle want to take me in as his daughter?"
I chuckled and said, "It's because Sixth Uncle and my family engaged to a child."
Loyi was stunned for a moment. What did the engagement of a child have to do with her?
The alcohol reeking Liu Li came over with a mysterious look on his face, "I know, because Sixth Uncle's family has three boys in a row! If it's a baby marriage, then who else can you marry! "
When the surrounding people heard this, they all burst into laughter. Luo Yi Yi grabbed a bottle of wine and poured it into Liu Li's mouth. She viciously said, "Only one day can you speak!"
Liu Li was pulled back to drink after a short while.
I looked at the glasses on Liu Li's hands and shook my head with a smile. This fellow was even more familiar with the wine than I was as a local. As expected, wine is the best medicine to promote relationships.
I was about to drink, when a warm breath came to my ear.
I turned just in time to see Loyal's face in my ear.
"What are you doing?" I was shocked. "Although my sixth uncle and grandmother think very highly of you, isn't this relationship too fast?" I still need to prepare to use it. "
"What are you talking about!" Luo Yi Yi patted my shoulder and pointed around, "Do you feel that something is strange?"
I glanced around. They were all familiar townspeople. Everyone was eating and drinking meat. A few of them were even lying on the ground.
The villagers were all familiar with this place, so there was nothing to worry about.
"What's wrong? "Quite normal," I said.
"..." Are you really Grandma Ye's grandson? " Luo Yi Yi rolled her eyes at me and pointed at a few of them. "Take a closer look."
Following the direction of Luo Yi's finger, I carefully observed it, and realised that there was something wrong with it.
The weather was still very hot, but the group of people lying on the ground were all tightly wrapped up. Other than their hands, they couldn't see anything else. All of them, without exception, covered their faces with their hands.
I sat in my seat and looked left and right. I couldn't figure out who they were for a long time.
Normally, there were very few people in this town. From the sound of the footsteps, it was obvious who it was.
Although I have said that I have been away for so many years, there shouldn't be so many people that I don't know.
"Do you smell anything?" Royce asked me with her nose raised.
I sniffled my nose. It really made me smell a faint, familiar scent, the same smell I had smelled on the wall during the day.
"You go and evacuate the big guys, they won't leave," I whispered.
Roy glanced at me but didn't move.
"What are you doing sitting there? "I told you to evacuate everyone," I said after a momentary pause. This girl shouldn't be so angry right now.
"Just who is going to evacuate? Do you not have any points?" Loyi rolled her eyes. "You can't fight them. If they really did come looking for trouble, would you be able to handle it?"
I slapped my head as I almost forgot where this girl came from. I was worried that she would let her go first.
I hurried to the table next to the table and called for the big guys, now that most of the men were drunk, I tried very hard to persuade them, and finally, after promising to go and have a good drink some other day, I took them away to my daughter-in-law.
"Grandmother, let's go somewhere else first," I said, sitting down next to her. No matter who it was, I couldn't let anything happen to my grandmother.
"Good grandson, Grandma is old and doesn't want to move anymore," Grandma held a bowl of boiled water and slowly drank it down, "No matter who comes, no one will let me leave."
At this moment, grandma was not like an old man who needed help even with a basin. Instead, she was more like … Hermit.
Seeing that everyone was almost evacuated, I was about to call Liu Li, who was still unconscious from his drink, when I saw him stand up.
"That's enough, stop pretending. Brother, what sect are you from? Say your name." Although Liu Li's face was flushed red, he didn't seem like a drunk person.
"Aren't you drunk?"
"No shit," Liu Li gave me a disdainful look. "Previously, when I saw that truck we encountered during the day, I knew it wouldn't be that simple today."
I was the only one in the know of my feelings, and I was a little depressed.
The people lying on the ground sat up one by one. I noticed that they were all covered their faces with black cloth. One of them opened his mouth and said, "Indeed, all of you are experts. Such a brilliant cover was discovered."
I frowned. The man's voice was hoarse, like the sound of grinding sand.
Liu Li lit up a cigarette and snorted disdainfully, "What a smart fart. Look at your costumes. How many years has it been? They're still the same old ways."
The group was dressed in black, and their faces were covered with black cloth. It took me a while to realize who was speaking.
"Do you know where we came from?" The person who spoke seemed to be the leader, as he tilted his head, appearing to be puzzled.
"The fire of the Phoenixes, the garden of spring and night," said the grandmother slowly, "has your line of herding corpses fallen to this point? Even Adepts wouldn't dare to appear? "
"Heh heh, in front of the Falling Maple Leaf Red, how could I dare to act rashly?" The person laughed; his laughter was like the sound of a bellowing bellows.
"What did my grandma just say?" I asked, moving closer to her.
"It's Wen Tianxiang's righteous song," Luo Yiyi said without turning her head. "This group of people are from the Corpse Chasing Branch of Xiangxi Province. When they're chasing the corpses, they're reciting Wen Tianxiang's righteous song."
"Then these people …"
"They're all corpses," Loyi said, glancing at me. "The ones who are controlling them aren't here, but the Zombies are actually quite weak. They don't have the ability to fight, so they can only rely on the corpses."
"Ah, An Zi, today I will teach you a lesson," Liu Li took a deep breath and smiled as he said, "The reason why I want to drive a corpse is because of the Yin Sha's ability."
Liu Li told me that when Xiangxi chased the corpses, they used the silver needles to seal the acupoints and the chants to drive them away. In reality, they only sealed the Yin energy inside the corpses and used the Yin energy to drive away the corpses.
"Then why didn't they order the Yin Sha to kill directly?" I don't understand.
"That's another reason," Liu Li said slowly. "But it's not convenient for me to give you an answer right now, so I'll find Old Sun to teach you when we get back. This brother doesn't seem to be able to wait any longer."
The leader sinisterly smiled and said, "It seems that all of you understand my Corpse Chasing Branch very well. May I ask who are the experts here?"
"None of your business." Liu Li threw down his cigarette. "When you go back and ask the leader, you'll know who we are."
"Please do not do this," the leader said. "I am only here to retrieve an item from Senior Ye, so I will not bother you at all."
I rolled my eyes. "I'm not going to disturb you. Do you think we're blind with all the subordinates around you?"
"I know what you're here for," my grandmother said, still sitting very still. "But I can't give you that. Let's go."
"Senior Ye, I respect you as a senior, so you have to be more polite," the leader gloomily said, "If we were to fight, I'm afraid that with your age, it wouldn't be appropriate for you to put in the effort."
Grandma paused for a moment, then put down the bowl of tea in her hand. She slowly stood up and smiled. "Do you really want to fight?"
