C13 He Borrowed a Porsche 911.

Lin Tian's gaze shifted as he addressed the employees gathered in the room:

"Ten thousand dollars each to knock some sense into these two fools. And an extra ten grand for the one who goes all out!"

The employees initially froze at his words, but then, like wild animals unleashed, they pounced on Hu Yong and Xu Lili, eager to claim the reward.

"Beat the hell out of these morons!" one shouted.

"Exactly! They insulted Director Lin and Director Cheng—they're asking for it!" another added.

"Hit them so hard their own mothers won't recognize them!" a third chimed in.

"Hey, guys, make some room, will ya? I can't get a swing in. Let's all get a chance at the cash," someone else pleaded.

Within moments, Hu Yong and Xu Lili lay on the ground, overwhelmed by the flurry of punches and kicks. They were eventually discarded from the company like trash, resembling nothing more than two lumps of mud. The only reason they weren't beaten to a pulp was Cheng Yuwei's intervention, fearing a fatality. Money talks, and nobody was foolish enough to walk away from it.

In Cheng Yuwei's office, despite having dealt with Xu Lili and Hu Yong, her expression was far from relieved. Worry flickered in her eyes, a sight that didn't go unnoticed by Lin Tian.

Approaching her with a smile, Lin Tian extended his hand, placing it reassuringly on her shoulder. "Don't worry," he said, his voice smooth and comforting. "I'll handle Zhao Hongyang."

"Get your hands off me!" Cheng Yuwei snapped, batting away Lin Tian's arm.

"Lin Tian, I appreciate your ten-million-yuan investment in the company, and I'll honor my promise to marry you. But that doesn't mean I've accepted you," she said icily. "Nor does it give you the right to act all high and mighty. So please, show some respect and stop this childish nonsense. I find it repulsive."

Lin Tian could only shake his head and step back with a wry smile. Winning Cheng Yuwei's heart was proving to be no easy task, but he remained undeterred. His aim was to be there for her, to protect her quietly from the sidelines. He harbored no grand illusions beyond that.

Suddenly, Cheng Yuwei's eyes darted to the clock on the wall, and her face paled. "Oh no, I need to get to the hospital. How could I forget?" She bolted from the room in a rush.

Lin Tian, taken aback by her urgency, didn't hesitate to follow.

They reached the ground floor of the company building in no time. Cheng Yuwei's eyes were fixed desperately on the taxis speeding by on the road. Despite her efforts to hail one, the rush hour traffic was unforgiving.

"Ms. Cheng, where's your car?" Lin Tian inquired, recalling her Audi A4L.

"If I had my car, do you think I'd be standing here like an idiot? I had to mortgage it recently!" Cheng Yuwei retorted, her patience wearing thin.

Lin Tian's brow furrowed with concern. Without another word, he pulled out his phone and dialed Qingluo's number.

Then, he whispered his instructions as quietly as possible:

"Qingluo, bring the car around immediately, I have an urgent need for it."

"Mr. Tian, I'm in the middle of handling some things. I'll send Little Qin right away," came Qingluo's pleasant voice through the phone.

"Make it quick! Oh, and that G63 stands out too much—switch to something more understated," Lin Tian added.

"Understood, Mr. Tian," Qingluo responded promptly.

After ending the call, Lin Tian rejoined Cheng Yuwei and reassured her, "Ms. Cheng, there's no need to worry. I've just phoned a friend to bring a car for us to use."

Cheng Yuwei's expression shifted as she gave Lin Tian a deep look, then murmured, "Thank you."

"Don't mention it," Lin Tian replied nonchalantly, with a dismissive wave of his hand.

"When will your friend arrive? I have urgent business at the hospital," Cheng Yuwei inquired, her concern still evident.

"He should be here any minute. Should I call to hurry him along?" Lin Tian suggested, noting Cheng Yuwei's anxiety and deducing the gravity of the situation.

Cheng Yuwei quickly shook her head, "No, it's kind enough for him to lend us the car. It wouldn't be right to press him further."

"Buzz..."

Before she could finish her thought, a thunderous roar of an engine echoed from afar, growing louder as it neared.

The overwhelming sound drew both Cheng Yuwei and Lin Tian's gaze in its direction.

As expected, a brilliant red streak, like a phantom, was racing towards them from the end of the road.

In just a moment, the red apparition sliced through the air, swiftly pulling up before them.

"Sizzle sizzle sizzle..."

With a stunning drift, the red phantom came to a halt at their feet, revealing its true form.

With distinctive quad headlights, seductive curves, a shiny red metallic finish, and an elevated rear spoiler, the car's design screamed flair.

In a word—flashy!

In two—outrageously flashy!

Indeed, the eye-catching sports car before them was a brand-new Porsche 911!

Women are often drawn to things that are beautiful and brilliant, and Cheng Yuwei was no exception.

The proximity of the red Porsche elicited an involuntary gasp of awe from her—what a gorgeous car.

Meanwhile, Lin Tian was frowning, at a loss for words.

Shortly after, a middle-aged man, whose demeanor seemed at odds with the car's, stepped out.

Dressed in a designer suit and bow tie, carrying a briefcase, he presented an air of sophistication.

He barely exited the vehicle before rushing over to Lin Tian, kneeling on one knee with utmost respect. "Greetings..."

Lin Tian's gaze sharpened, and with a subtle glance, he conveyed a silent message.

The man caught on immediately, halting his kneel and swiftly correcting himself, "Mr. Lin, the car has been delivered."

Cheng Yuwei turned to Lin Tian with a puzzled look.

Clearly, she hadn't anticipated that the strikingly flashy sports car would be brought by Lin Tian's friend.

This was just too preposterous!

Lin Tian could tell by Cheng Yuwei's reaction that the situation was about to get complicated.

He then turned to the suit-clad man, who appeared completely unfazed, and felt a headache coming on.

Whether this was Qingluo's doing or the man's own initiative was anyone's guess.

Lin Tian had specifically requested a more understated vehicle to avoid raising any eyebrows—especially Cheng Yuwei's. But what's this?

Sure, a Porsche 911 and that limited edition Mercedes-Benz AMG 6x6 G63 are in a league of their own, but this supercar? It's anything but low-key. With its ostentatious flair and undeniable coolness, it's the antithesis of 'understated.'

It seems this guy might have a very different definition of 'low-profile'...
