C19 After This He Would Definitely Not Lack Money!

It was all thanks to the martial club.

"Senior Chen Hao, you're so cool!"

"Wow, to kick someone so far with just one kick... Is he even human?"

"That guy's the taekwondo champion, right? Seems pretty weak to me."

"It's not that he's weak; it's that Senior Chen Hao is just that incredible!"

Even though few spectators were well-versed in martial arts, seeing Chen Hao send someone flying several meters with a single kick, with almost no one able to react, was utterly astounding.

And it didn't hurt that Chen Hao was incredibly handsome.

"Chen Hao, I love you!" Mo Huaixi exclaimed excitedly from the stands.

"Give us a kiss!" echoed the chants around her.

Chen Hao held his forehead and let out a wry smile. His eyes found Jiang Shi, who quietly stood up amidst the fervent cheers and quickly made her way to the exit.

"You guys handle things here; I've got something to take care of," Chen Hao told Jiang Nan before hurrying out of the gym.

Outside, the occasional couple strolled by.

Chen Hao, concealed behind some shrubbery, leaped out just as Jiang Shi ran past.

"Stop right there, this is a hold-up!"

Jiang Shi shuddered in fright, but upon recognizing Chen Hao, she broke into a relieved smile before quickly composing herself and said sternly, "Chen Hao, such pranks could disrupt public order. Be careful, or I might have to dock your credits."

"Enough talk, hand it over!" Chen Hao demanded, feigning menace as he grabbed her wrist.

"What are you talking about?" Jiang Shi asked instinctively.

In the next instant, she was pulled into Chen Hao's embrace, his voice gentle in her ear, "Your heart."

In that moment, all of Jiang Shi's grievances melted away, leaving only a flood of embarrassment and sweetness.

But remembering they were at school, she began to struggle, "Let go, someone might see us."

"Then let's go somewhere we won't be seen," Chen Hao suggested, leading her by the hand toward the south gate.

Jiang Shi's feeble attempts to resist were in vain, and she found herself being led out of the school toward a less crowded area.

He wouldn't be planning to take her somewhere secluded, would he...?

Jiang Shi's emotions were a tangled mess, filled with uncertainty, panic, and a hint of anticipation.

Together, they found themselves on a deserted street, their shadows stretching and intertwining under the glow of the streetlights.

Chen Hao grasped her hand firmly and whispered, "Shishi, do you like me?"

"Who, who likes you? I'm certainly not Mo Huaixi," Jiang Shi retorted with a touch of irritation.

Chen Hao chuckled. "You can't pin this on Mo Huaixi. If anyone's to blame, it's you."

"Blame me? What did I do?"

"Just think, if I were already taken, Mo Huaixi, no matter how bold, wouldn't dare to declare herself the other woman in front of everyone."

"Mistress? That's such an ugly term." Jiang Shi looked away, her voice betraying her discomfort.

She was well aware of Chen Hao's popularity at school, but as his teacher, starting a relationship with him before his graduation could affect more than just her.

Chen Hao let out a sigh. "If you don't act soon, you might end up being the mistress."

"Tch! Who would want to be your mistress!" Jiang Shi snapped, pulling her hand away. "Go find a girlfriend if you want. No one's stopping you. Why should it be that after you find a girlfriend, I have to be the one to... to..."

Her voice trailed off as Chen Hao drew nearer.

Backed against the wall with nowhere to go, she felt the warmth of his lips.

The kiss was brief, a mere few seconds.

Chen Hao looked up, grinning. "Now you're mine, and there's no escaping."

"You, you..." This was Jiang Shi's first kiss. She didn't know if it was Chen Hao's first too, but in that moment, she felt utterly drained of strength.

Yet, she was restless, wanting to do something, her limbs fidgety as if charged with adrenaline.

"I, I should get back to school," Jiang Shi murmured, instinctively trying to flee, but Chen Hao held her fast.

"No running away today. It's irresponsible to kiss and run."

"You kissed me first!"

"You didn't resist, did you?"

"…"

They continued their walk along the tranquil street, speaking less and less, yet the atmosphere between them grew increasingly delightful.

Chen Hao could distinctly feel the sweat in Jiang Shi's palm. If he moved just a bit closer, he could also sense the warmth radiating from her face.

After a while, they found themselves outside a high-end residential area, where villas stood hidden behind tall walls.

Chen Hao merely cast a casual glance at them before halting in his tracks.

"What's the matter?" asked Jiang Shi, still lost in her thoughts.

A moment later, she heard Chen Hao's voice, tinged with urgency, "Shishi, can you lend me some money?"

"Huh?" Jiang Shi was puzzled and inquired, "How much do you need?"

She began to rummage through her wallet as she spoke.

"I'm not sure. Whatever you have—I want to buy that villa!"

Jiang Shi nearly stumbled and fell at his unexpected request.
