C11 Turning the Rotten into the Magical

Wang Cuifen lowered her head, looking quite embarrassed, and said, "Let him try. If it doesn't work, I'll let you take over, okay?"

"Hmph! In that case, the consultation fee will be doubled!" Zhang Cheng was completely a gold digger.

Wang Cuifen's face turned pale; her teeth clenched in agony and indecision.

Lee Yifann looked coldly at Zhang Cheng, thinking, 'Does this scoundrel even deserve to be a doctor?'

It was an utter insult to the white coat he was wearing!

Zhang Cheng sneered endlessly, a thick mockery curling his lips, "You think you can cure it? That's a joke! Let me clarify from the start—if the patient dies, it has nothing to do with me!"

He immediately washed his hands of any responsibility, displaying a completely opportunistic and selfish attitude.

Lee Yifann, suppressing his anger and disdain, looked at Wang Cuifen and solemnly said, "Auntie, you will have your healthy son back!"

Determined to prove himself, he was resolved to cure the patient. It was a matter of personal pride and not just going through the motions.

Under Zhang Cheng's cold and disdainful gaze, Lee Yifann took out his family's ancestral silver needles. He skillfully began to wash and sterilize them.

"Acupuncture?" Seeing Lee Yifan pull out the silver needles, Zhang Cheng was even more contemptuous, mockingly saying, "Those long silver needles might just kill the person in one stab, don't you think?"

Lee Yifann ignored his noise, channeling the energy flow within his body into the silver needles. His confidence in his cure ability came from the Medical Saint Scripture.

Using the Medical Saint Scripture method, he diagnosed the young boy's ailment.

At the boy's heart, there was a blockage of black energy, obstructing blood and energy flow, causing problems in the heart and liver. The boy was allergic to certain antibiotics like penicillin, leading to fever and a vicious cycle of overworked internal organs, creating the appearance of heart and liver failure.

The hospital mistakenly believed the boy's illness was organ failure and planned to replace the organs. So they continued to use antibiotics on him.

The boy's illness had accumulated over time, making his body extremely weak, to the point where even major hospitals were helpless.

With smooth and practiced motions, Lee Yifann inserted the silver needles into various points on the boy's body—his nose tip, armpits, stomach, and more.

"Putting on airs, I want to see how you kill the patient!" Zhang Cheng heckled with a strange tone.

Lee Yifann ignored him, taking another silver needle and inserting it into the boy's nose tip. As the needle went in, the previously whimpering child immediately stopped crying, sweat ceased to form, and his pale complexion quickly returned to normal.

This strange transformation left Zhang Cheng and his assistant completely stunned.

"Mmm," the little boy let out a soft whimper, a sound naturally made as if in deep sleep.

"My boy! He is getting better! You cured him!"

No one was more excited than Wang Cuifen, who had cared for her son for years. Ever since her son fell ill, he had not enjoyed a single night of peaceful sleep, tormented as he was by agonizing pain.

A sound like this whimper was to her ears nothing short of heavenly music!

"How is this possible?" The assistant was in complete disbelief, nearly dumbfounded.

Zhang Cheng's face turned ashen, staring intently at Lee Yifann. He was no fool; he could clearly see the boy's condition. It wasn't merely under control; it was progressing towards recovery!

"He must just be lucky!" Zhang Cheng absolutely refused to believe that Lee Yifann could cure the boy.

Lee Yifann heard his mutterings, his lips curling into a faint cold smile, though he said nothing. After a few minutes, he stopped and said, "Auntie, I've purged all the antibiotics from his body. Without the allergic reaction, he'll feel much better."

"Is my child cured?" Wang Cuifen asked excitedly.

Lee Yifann shook his head, leaving Wang Cuifen frozen in place.

Zhang Cheng burst into laughter, saying, "Kid, I told you that you're like a blind cat that stumbled upon a dead mouse; that was just a coincidence! You can't possibly cure him!"

Lee Yifann didn't bother to look at him but thought for a moment before saying, "Auntie, your son isn't cured yet, but it's not difficult to heal him. Bring a basin of hot water."

"Oh, okay!" Wang Cuifen didn't hesitate but quickly rushed to fetch a basin of hot water.

Holding the steaming basin, Lee Yifann grabbed the little boy's hand, pricked his fingertip with a silver needle, and then placed his finger in the hot water.

"Ah!" Wang Cuifen let out a cry of alarm at the sight; the scalding water could burn the hand.

Lee Yifann seemed calm as he continued to observe the condition of the water in the basin.

In just a few minutes, the once clear water gradually became muddy and eventually turned into a basin of black water.

Meanwhile, the black cloud around the boy's heart gradually disappeared, finally vanishing entirely!

"It's done!" Lee Yifann grabbed the boy's hand and removed the silver needle.

"Hmm." In a little while, the previously unconscious boy slowly opened his eyes and looked at Wang Cuifen, saying, "Mom, I'm thirsty!"

"Oh my God!" Wang Cuifen cried tears of joy and immediately hugged her son tightly, laughing and crying at the same time, "This is wonderful! My child, you are cured."

"Mom, why are you crying?" the little boy curiously asked.

"My child, Mom is just so happy!" Wang Cuifen stammered, almost incoherent with joy.

Zhang Cheng and his assistant were struck dumb, standing frozen in place, as if turned to stone.

They never dreamt that Lee Yifann could cure the little boy!

He didn't just control the illness but, in a matter of mere minutes, awakened a patient whom many major hospitals had nearly declared a lost cause!

"This can't be possible, I don't believe it!" Zhang Cheng, seeming almost insane, rushed forward to conduct various examinations on the little boy.

But when he had carried out all kinds of checks and found that the boy was only slightly weak, with everything else normal, he nearly collapsed, staggering backward and almost falling flat on his behind.

"Doctor Zhang!" The assistant hurriedly supported him, preventing him from falling.

Zhang Cheng's face twisted in fury, his eyes fixed intently on Lee Yifann, "What exactly did you do to him?"

"It's none of your business what I did. The child is cured! You can leave now; he doesn't need you to treat him anymore," Lee Yifann said impatiently. He had no fondness for a dishonest doctor like Zhang Cheng.

"You!" Zhang Cheng snapped, furious, and whipped his head around, "Wang Cuifen, don't be deceived by this little brat!"

Wang Cuifen's face changed. She held her son and angrily retorted, "I don't care! He cured my child; he is my benefactor! Get out of here! I don't want you treating my son!"

"Damn it!" Zhang Cheng quivered with rage.

Lee Yifann looked at him coldly, "Take your consultation fee and get out! You're not fit to be a doctor, you quack!"
