"Mr. Deng, our chairman has only recently taken the helm of the Uixei Group. There's a lot he's still unfamiliar with. We ask for your understanding," Lee Ruoshui added, before quickly whispering to Yang Yu, "Chairman, we have a partnership with the Drefank Group. It wouldn't do to be so standoffish."

Yang Yu wasn't being cold for no reason; he knew Deng Yiming's presence was no coincidence.

Just the night before, he had lavished an unknown streamer named Fei'er with tens of millions in gifts on the platform, catapulting her to success and overtaking Ami, the streamer Deng Yiming had been promoting.

Today, Deng Yiming showed up at Spalding's Rescould Pavilion and sought out Yang Yu himself, indicating a certain link between them.
