Lee Kai, upon hearing the noise, quickly thought on his feet and flipped the adjacent bed to shield himself. No sooner had he made his move than the door hurtled toward him like a projectile, slamming into the wooden bed and leaving a gaping hole before collapsing to the floor.

He pushed the bed aside and eyed the iron door.
