C41 Shock

As Hanyu Xiaotian caught the odd looks from the crowd, his youthful face crinkled into a frown. "Don't you believe me?"

"It's not that we don't believe you," came the reply, "it's just... hard to believe!"

Their skepticism was understandable. Hanyu Feng, Hanyu Zhan'an, and the rest had spent a decade trying to help Hanyu Xiaotian cultivate Ancient Martial Arts, all for naught. Yet here was Hanyu Xiaotian, barely ten years old, claiming that after just three months of fumbling around, he had mastered a divine ability! How could they not feel like their past efforts were wasted?

Xia Xiaodie, less burdened by these thoughts, cast an inquisitive look at Hanyu Zhan'an.

"It appears to be... a divine ability indeed!"

With Hanyu Zhan'an's confirmation, Xia Xiaodie joyfully scooped up Hanyu Xiaotian and twirled him around. "Tian Er, you're amazing! I always knew my son would make it. Forget the useless martial arts; we've got divine power now!"

"What do you mean by 'useless martial arts'?" Hanyu Zhan'an and the others exchanged puzzled glances.

Ignoring Xia Xiaodie's blunt words, Hanyu Feng, Han Yubai, and Hanyu Zhan'an were hit with a surreal feeling. Just moments ago, they were worried about Hanyu Xiaotian being bullied for his inability to practice martial arts, but now, with divine power at his command, he could be the one to intimidate others.

Life's highs and lows were truly dramatic!

Xia Xiaodie might not grasp the full implications of "divine power," but Hanyu Feng, Hanyu Zhan'an, and others were well aware. What was divine power? While martial arts could be refined through technological means, human anatomy, genetics, and Arts could be deciphered with knowledge of astronomy, geography, and mathematics, divine power was something else entirely—mysterious and supernatural, beyond the full understanding of all human knowledge.

In essence, those capable of cultivating divine power were as rare as the Tengo Imperial Body, a unique physique like Hanyu Duofeng's—one in a billion.

But to be fair, their knowledge of divine powers was superficial—they knew of it but didn't truly understand it. They were unaware of the profound significance behind the Chaotic Universe Stellar Scripture that Hanyu Xiaotian had assimilated in the family's Scripture Pavilion, among other divine abilities.

"I just knew it," Hanyu Xiaotian's grandfather exclaimed, overcome with emotion, tears streaming down his face. "How could my grandson, Hanyu Feng's offspring, be worthless? He's a genius, a true genius!"

Hanyu Zhan'an clenched his fists, struggling to contain his excitement. "Do you see? My son, Hanyu Zhan'an, is cultivating divine power!"

"Good boy, you've truly given us an enormous surprise," Han Yubai beamed, unable to stop smiling. "I must quickly tell my younger brother so he can share in the joy."

"Um, now that Tian Er is here, should we head home?" Xia Xiaodie suggested.

"Hmm, have Hanyu Duofeng and Hanyu Shengxi come out yet?" Hanyu Xiaotian suddenly remembered his two friends.

"Not yet, it seems. I heard from the Scripture Pavilion's Elder Wan that six people are still inside."

Images of two individuals—one with solar power and the other with the strength of a ferocious beast—flashed through Hanyu Xiaotian's mind, along with Hanyu Duofeng and Hanyu Shengxi...

"There might still be other prodigies out there that I haven't yet discovered. Our family seems to be teeming with talent—some I've never even seen or heard of before. I've definitely got to keep pushing myself," Hanyu Xiaotian mused. He was under no illusion that mastering a divine art would make him unbeatable among his contemporaries. Considering the known prodigies of the Hanyu Family, each one possessed extraordinary talent and fortune, and each carried themselves with an air of invincibility. And who knows about the unknown ones, or those beyond the Hanyu Family? The world is vast, filled with innumerable brilliant minds and towering figures, all vying for their place among the cosmos.

"But now that I've flung open the gates in my quest for the Dao, I'll press on with vigor and stride forward without fear. I refuse to be surpassed by anyone!"

With that, the family turned and departed.
