C13 Too Savage!

"Ha! You think I’m scared? Shut up, or I’ll knock your teeth out..." Qin Wudi sneered at the threats from Ge Shun and his crew. Though he’d been pretty low-key since joining Doombrows, it didn’t mean he hadn’t had his share of run-ins before. Back in the day, he was tight with Xiao Tian, and while he never did anything truly awful, he wasn’t above putting people in their place.

"You..." Yang Hu glared at Qin Wudi.

"Pow!" Without even looking, Qin Wudi landed a punch square on Yang Hu’s face, leaving him with a mouthful of blood and teeth slipping out.

"I told you to shut up, and you still keep yapping. Just because you’re a big guy too doesn’t mean I’ll go easy on you!" Qin Wudi felt no remorse, casting a quick glance at Yang Hu before resuming his looting. In no time, he’d stripped Yang Hu and his pals of everything, leaving them without a stitch.

"Xiao Tian!" After cleaning out Yang Hu and his friends, Qin Wudi approached Xiao Tian, handing over the goods.

"Didn’t expect that from you, little guy. You’ve got a knack for this," Xiao Tian remarked, impressed. He’d pegged Qin Wudi as the quiet type, but the way he’d cleaned out Ge Shun’s crew was something else. Xiao Tian had only asked him to grab anything valuable, but Qin Wudi had gone above and beyond.

"Heh heh heh..." Qin Wudi chuckled awkwardly at Xiao Tian, scratching his head as he laughed.

"These clothes and stuff are useless, so let's just leave them. Take whatever else you want." Xiao Tian casually pulled a stack of gold banknotes from Qin Wudi's hand, leaving the rest untouched. Seeing this, the chubby guy gripped the clothes tightly and tore them into shreds.

"Come on, follow me to a place!" Xiao Tian said, heading toward the cafeteria's exit. Qin Wudi, having discarded the clothes, didn't comment and quickly followed Xiao Tian.

"That was brutal!"

"Yeah, seriously!"

"It's infuriating. Not only did they beat him up, but they also took everything he had. And then, they even tore his clothes. That's harsh, really harsh!"

"I never knew Qin Wudi, who seemed so harmless, could be so ruthless. That punch earlier was decisive."

"Glad I never crossed Qin Wudi. Otherwise, I'd be in trouble now!"

As Qin Wudi and Xiao Tian left the cafeteria, many people breathed a sigh of relief. The fierce tactics displayed by Xiao Tian and Qin Wudi had intimidated quite a few, especially those who had previously mocked or bullied Qin Wudi.

"Xiao Tian, where are we headed?" Qin Wudi asked, looking at Xiao Tian with curiosity.

"We're going to find a place to hone our combat skills," Xiao Tian replied.

"Hone our combat skills? Are we going to the training grounds? There are always plenty of people sparring there," Qin Wudi asked, puzzled.

"No, we're heading to the Wild Bull Desert near Doombrows," Xiao Tian shook his head.

"The Wild Bull Desert? What's the point of going there? Are you planning on doing something reckless? You've done plenty of that in the past, but your strength hasn't fully returned yet. Jumping into something like that could cause a lot of trouble," Qin Wudi warned.

"Who's the reckless one here? Just because we're going to the Wild Bull Desert doesn't mean we're up to no good. We can hunt Minotaurs instead," Xiao Tian retorted, rolling his eyes at Qin Wudi.

"What's the point of hunting Minotaurs? They're just mindless brutes. It would be better to spar with some skilled fighters," Qin Wudi said, dismissively.

"Come back and talk to me once you can handle several warrior-level Minotaurs at once," Xiao Tian said, playfully knocking on Qin Wudi's head, causing him to wince.

A few minutes later, Xiao Tian and Qin Wudi arrived at the Wild Bull Desert near Doombrows. The place earned its name due to the large number of Minotaurs that roamed the area.

The Minotaur is a dire beast that closely resembles an ordinary bull. These creatures vary in strength, and the entire Wild Bull Desert is divided into three levels: the outer, inner, and core regions. This area is a popular training ground for many Doombrows disciples. Not only do Outer Sect disciples train here, but Inner Sect disciples do as well. It's said that while most Minotaurs in the outer regions are only at the Initiate level, the core area is home to powerful beasts that have reached the Battlemage level. Even some Inner Sect disciples have met their end in the Wild Bull Desert after encountering these formidable creatures.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

A series of explosions echoed as dust filled the air and figures leaped into action. At this moment, Qin Wudi was surrounded by four Minotaurs, each standing taller than a person and possessing the strength of a nine-star Initiate. Their eyes glowed a menacing red, exuding a fierce aura. These Minotaurs not only knew how to attack with their horns but also used their hooves, tails, and bodies to crush their foes. Facing a Minotaur was akin to battling a cultivator trained in the Bull Demon Fist.

Qin Wudi's form flickered as he executed the martial arts techniques taught by Xiao Tian. With his right hand poised like a blade, he launched a fierce assault on the surrounding Minotaurs. Under his onslaught, he managed to break free from their encirclement. He then delivered a powerful blow to one of the Minotaurs, causing its head to bleed profusely. However, as he injured one, the other three Minotaurs retaliated with their hooves, launching a relentless attack that left him in a perilous situation.

During the battle between Qin Wudi and the four Minotaurs, about a hundred yards away, Xiao Tian found himself surrounded by more than a dozen Minotaurs. Among them, the weakest were at the level of seven-star Initiates, with many at eight and nine stars. Notably, three of these Minotaurs had surpassed the Initiate level, reaching the status of warriors.

Facing over a dozen Minotaurs, including one with the strength of a warrior, Xiao Tian, whose power was equivalent to a six-star Initiate, was in a precarious situation. Yet, despite the danger, he showed no signs of being in mortal peril. Instead, he skillfully outmaneuvered the Minotaurs, frequently delivering heavy blows that left them reeling.
