C9 Fight the Red Fire Wolf

Zhang Binn brandished his sword, charging at the Red Fire Wolf before him with a fierce energy that seemed to cut through the air.

Sensing the intense aura emanating from Zhang Binn, the Red Fire Wolf issued another roar of fury.

Suddenly, it rose to its full height, fixing Zhang Binn with a chilling glare before lashing out with its claws in a ferocious swipe at his body.

A crisp "clang" rang out from Zhang Binn's blade.

The once formidable Zhang Binn found his sword caught in the vice-like grip of the Red Fire Wolf's claw.

The immense force bore down on him, threatening to shatter his hands.

Zhang Binn felt as though his hands had been struck by a massive truck; the force not only caused his sword to emit a series of faint whines but also made his hands tingle with the threat of numbness.

"Curse this beast, its strength is immense!" Zhang Binn brooded inwardly after taking the Red Fire Wolf's punishing hit.

But he quickly retreated several steps. As he fell back, he simultaneously struck out with his sword at the Red Fire Wolf.

"Profound Nether Nine Swords, first strike! Profound Nether Slash!" Zhang Binn murmured a frigid incantation and, with a swift motion, he brought his sword down on the Red Fire Wolf.

The Red Fire Wolf responded with a scornful growl and reached out to snatch Zhang Binn's sword.

Witnessing this, Zhang Binn allowed a cold smirk to cross his face. "Beasts will be beasts. They may possess strength beyond their peers, but their cunning falls far short."

With a fierce cry of "Slash!" Zhang Binn unleashed a glacial howl, and his sword's keen light carved through the air toward the Red Fire Wolf's paw.

The blade whistled through the air, emitting a shrill sound that seemed to pierce the soul.

With a sharp "crack," the sword's lethal energy severed one of the Red Fire Wolf's claws.

The beast howled in agony, a sound that resonated as if it could shake the heavens themselves.

Unmoved by the Red Fire Wolf's pitiful cries, Zhang Binn pressed his attack, his sword arcing down once more upon the creature's form.

The Red Fire Wolf was caught off guard by Zhang Binn's unexpected sword strike.

Previously, it had underestimated the sword, leading to a significant defeat at Zhang Binn's hands.

Now, it was determined to kill Zhang Binn, to turn him into its prey.

In a frenzied tangle, man and beast clashed. The Red Fire Wolf, having taken a heavy blow from Zhang Binn's ferocious attack, was cautious about engaging in a direct confrontation.

Meanwhile, Zhang Binn's speed far outmatched that of the wounded Red Fire Wolf.

At this point, Zhang Binn held an overwhelming advantage.

Moreover, Zhang Binn was relentlessly thrusting his sword like a man possessed, riddling the Red Fire Wolf's body with numerous punctures.

The creature's fur was almost entirely soaked in crimson blood, presenting a sight of utter misery.

Zhang Binn, however, wasn't faring much better. The Red Fire Wolf, in its prime, possessed a cultivation level on par with the eighth level of the Body Tempering Stage.

Despite its injuries, it remained a formidable opponent not to be taken lightly by Zhang Binn.

Consequently, Zhang Binn had sustained several deep gashes, his once pristine clothes now stained with blood.

Both adversaries were tirelessly probing for vulnerabilities, each aware that any slip could lead to the other unleashing devastating power to secure a lethal blow.

Overall, Zhang Binn seemed to maintain a slight edge in the battle.

The Red Fire Wolf, already weakened from prior injuries and further impaired by Zhang Binn damaging one of its claws, had its attack power halved. If the battle continued this way, Zhang Binn was sure to emerge victorious.

"Roar..."

In that moment, the Red Fire Wolf issued a chilling growl, its fur flaring a sinister red.

It locked its gaze on Zhang Binn and let out a series of roars, "Roar! Roar! Roar!"

The Red Fire Wolf's presence intensified, its aura now fiercely sharp and wildly untamed.

"Has this creature finally reached its limit, ready for a decisive battle to the death?" Zhang Binn pondered as he witnessed the Red Fire Wolf's transformation.

Zhang Binn was in no rush; he understood that the Red Fire Wolf's growing anxiety was a clear sign of its deteriorating condition.

In fact, the creature had become like a bow at full draw, on the brink of breaking. Zhang Binn was confident that if he pressed on, the beast would surely fall by his hand. With this thought, his smile deepened.

He fixed a cold gaze on the Red Fire Wolf before him, lifted his sword, and spoke in a low tone, "Come on then! Let's see how strong you really are when you're angry!"

In that instant, the wolf's eyes blazed with a sinister green glow, its body twitching as if ready to leap at Zhang Binn any second. But Zhang Binn was fully prepared, his eyes icy as he flawlessly charged the second sword of the Profound Nether Nine Swords.

Convinced of his own prowess, he believed a single, fully-powered strike would be enough to slay the Red Fire Wolf. However, just as he was about to unleash his attack, the wolf spun around and bolted!

Zhang Binn was seething with rage. "Damn it! To be outwitted by a mere beast?" Yet, even in his anger, he surged forward, rapidly closing the distance.

With a cold huff, Zhang Binn activated the Blue Butterfly Azure Cloud Step, hot on the wolf's heels. In one swift motion, he drew the Hidden Dragon Sword and hurled it, impaling the fleeing creature.

The Red Fire Wolf howled in agony but didn't stop its desperate dash. "Hmph! No matter where you run today, your fate is sealed!" Zhang Binn quickened his pace, his speed surging once more.

As the wolf reached a cave entrance, Zhang Binn was already there, blocking its path. The wolf growled at the sight of him, but Zhang Binn just snorted and delivered a devastating punch.

The Red Fire Wolf, already spent like an overstrained bow, was no match for Zhang Binn's might. The wolf was blasted away by the force of his punch. Simultaneously, Zhang Binn executed the Blue Butterfly Azure Cloud Step, manipulating the sword embedded in the wolf's body, and with a swift action, he obliterated its heart. The Red Fire Wolf met its end at the hands of Zhang Binn's overwhelming power.

As Zhang Binn gazed upon the Red Fire Wolf's carcass, a smug grin spread across his face. He murmured with satisfaction, "This Red Fire Wolf is quite the prize, a stroke of luck indeed!"

"The body of the Red Fire Wolf is mine. You can take your leave now!"
