Every once in a while, Lao'er would pop out of the sand to breathe. Whenever he saw Lao'er, the yellow feather monster would run over and try to attack, but Lao'er would always pull his head back before it could run over. Because of this, it was impossible to tell what kind of ability this yellow feather monster had.
