The blood-red sky illuminated the radiation cloud in the west. From afar, it looked like the entire sky was on fire. There was a stretch of wilderness far below, with no city silhouettes to be seen. Only a few abandoned high-voltage towers stood sloppily on the horizon, as if they were about to fall out of this era.
