C6 Liu Lili
She was a beautiful young woman with a delicate face, like a porcelain doll.
After an unknown period of time, the two of us stopped on a brightly lit street. The crowd was bustling, and the sound of cars could be heard.
"Who are you?"
I looked at the woman who had suddenly appeared beside me, a trace of wariness in my heart.
The doll-like woman had quieted down by now and was looking at me with a complicated expression.
A couple of trucks roared past us, horns blaring.
"My name is Liu Lili, I'm your fiancee."
I stared at her. "Do you think I would believe someone who claims to be my fiancée?"
"The reason is simple." Liu Lili took out a small jade pendant from her pocket.
Seeing this round jade pendant, I immediately went forward to snatch it, my eyes filled with fear.
I remember this jade pendant very clearly. It was my birthday present at the age of six. On the second day of my birthday, my parents disappeared, and then, the jade pendant suddenly disappeared as well.
"Why is the jade pendant in your hands?"
"Your sister gave it to me." Liu Lili answered honestly.
"My sister?" I was stunned. Then I asked her a lot of questions, and she was able to answer them all, including my sister's.
Gradually, I believed her words. Although I believed Liu Lili's words, there was still a trace of caution in my heart.
"Xu Yang, don't go to the villa anymore these few days." Liu Lili looked me in the eye and said solemnly.
"You will die!"
"Heh heh, I'll believe whatever you say?" I sneered, "Let's not talk about the truth of your fiancée. My niece, Qian Qian, is still in the villa. I must bring Qian Qian out!"
After saying that, I turned around and walked away, ignoring Liu Lili who was behind me.
After a long silence, Liu Lili slowly asked, "Xu Yang, why are you so insistent on going back?"
"My sister and Qian Qian are the most important people in my life. Even if I don't care about my life, I want them to be fine!" I said solemnly, "Since you want to stop me, then tell me the reason why I can't return. Tell me the reason behind all of this!"
Liu Lili shook her head, looking like she was struggling: "The reason huh …" No... "No, I can't tell you now!"
"Then what do we have to say?" Sneering coldly, I turn around to leave, no longer bothering with this baffling woman.
The night was heavy, and the stars were faintly discernible, as if a heavy stone was weighing down on one's heart.
Elder sister, what's wrong with you? Hurry up and come back, I really don't want to experience this alone …
My brain felt like it was being minced. I kept thinking about all sorts of things, and the more I thought about it, the more my head hurt. When I finally stopped, I was already outside the district.
I could feel a chill across the neighborhood, and although I was terrified, all I wanted to do was bring CeeCee back.
Suddenly, a hand pulled me back. I quickly looked back and saw that it was Liu Lili. She was actually following me!
"Are you crazy?!" Liu Lili shouted through gritted teeth, looking like a lackey.
I sneered, "You don't have to stop me, I'll definitely take CeeCee away!"
Just as I was about to enter again, Liu Lili appeared in front of me.
"I'll help you."
"Help me?"
Why did this woman change her mind again?
"Since I can't stop you, I can't just watch as you throw your life away like this!"
After saying that, Liu Lili pulled me by the hand and walked out of the district. I looked at her back with a stupefied expression.
Finally, she dragged him to the farmers' market. It was already around 5 am and the sky was still bright, but there were already crowds coming and going in the farmers' market.
What surprised me was that Liu Lili seemed to be walking in her own house as we walked through the big farmers' market. She was very familiar with the route and brought me to a small alley.
There was only a small shop here. The signboard outside was pitch black, and one could vaguely make out the word 'sea' on it. The surrounding bricks were also pitch black, like dried blood …
"Boss, are you there?" Liu Lili shouted as she entered.
As I followed her through the door, I covered my nose. All kinds of smells were mixed together. Dead fish, dead chickens, it was just a rotten and smelly smell.
However, Liu Lili acted as if nothing had happened and didn't care in the slightest. She was even leaning against the black counter that was stained with something.
At this moment, an old man walked out from inside. He was staggering and coughing.
"Little girl, the shop isn't opening anymore." The old man glanced at us.
"Deep in the sea, lost."
A strange phrase popped out of Liu Lili's mouth, and I could clearly feel the old man's movements stiffen.
"What's your name?" The old man looked at Liu Lili with his turbid eyes, and said this after a long while.
"Liu Lili."
"Old Liu Family?" The old man sneered.
"What do you want? I don't have many things in my shop." The person called Uncle Hai spoke slowly and kept coughing, as if he was about to die.
"Black dog blood, buddha jumps over the wall, give me another set of root." Liu Lili quickly recited a series of words, which made me even more confused.
After Liu Lili said that, I was stunned. Why are you buying all this mess?
"What do you mean, don't tell me these things are useful!" I stared at Lili, my face full of doubt.
"Don't worry about that." Liu Lili said slowly.
"How can I trust you?"
"You …" Liu Lili was at a loss for words. Indeed, it was at this moment that the old man opened his mouth.
"Don't make a ruckus in the store, go outside if you need anything!"
We both quieted down, and at the same time, I took a closer look at the old man and realized that he was wearing clothes from the Republic of China.
The old man glanced at me indifferently. "Take your things and get lost!"
"Go to my place. Prepare, we'll go to the villa tonight." Liu Lili said flatly, and I followed her with my things.
Her place was actually a five-star hotel, and it was even a suite.
"At noon, mix the chicken blood with the dog blood in the sun." Liu Lili said to me as she continued to work on the materials.
I didn't understand, so I just nodded, and when I was done, I leaned back against the sofa, my mind in a mess.
Even now, Qian Qian still didn't know if she was dead or alive. As an uncle, I'm actually so useless …
"What are you thinking about? Hurry up, it's almost time, mix the blood!"
After an unknown amount of time, Liu Lili suddenly appeared beside me and shouted at me.
I looked at her but didn't say anything. I quickly mixed the black dog blood with the chicken blood.
Time flew by, and soon the sun set. At 11: 45 PM, Liu Lili and I were standing not far from the entrance of the villa.
"Remember, you have to follow my footsteps." Liu Lili said as she prepared to enter the villa.
