C53 A Towering Wall of Fire

Ke Qi and Yuan Runn stood in front of the wall of light, watching Yan Jia walk out from it. Yuan Runn was wearing a mask, so he couldn't see anything. Ke Qi, on the other hand, had a straight face. He didn't look like he had rushed into the wall of light earlier.

"See, I told you he would come out quickly." Unfortunately, with just one word, it destroyed the integrity of his face, returning to its original appearance without any change.

"Alright, now that we've seen the 'end,' let's go eat and come back tomorrow to have some fun."

Ke Qi spoke while beckoning Yan Jia to catch up quickly.

The food at this hotel tasted good and was plentiful, making up for Yan Jia's missed lunch. There weren't many people eating in the lobby at the moment, and Yan Jia and Ke Qi sat at a table together. Yuan Runn's portion was delivered to his room.

Yuan Runn never ate with the two of them or anyone else, for that matter. Even during their time on the "airplane" before, he always ate alone in a corner.

Ke Qi once suggested eating together, but Yuan Runn refused.

After finishing their meal, Yan Jia and Ke Qi returned to their respective rooms. The three rooms were connected, right next to each other.

The soundproofing of the hotel was excellent; no sound could be heard from the neighboring room. In his room, Yan Jia lay on the bed, contemplating something. It took a long time for him to enter the universe. However, his main focus remained on the Shanhai world. This wasn't home or the quiet room at the academy; he had to stay alert.

The "Golden Crow Ball" flying in the starry sky had returned to its original slender form and was now speeding towards its destination. The white Golden Crow was already at its maximum speed, and if they wanted to accelerate further, they would have to find another star.

They needed to be a proper "guest" once they arrived.

But the current speed was already sufficient. Taking the time of the Shanghai World as a reference, they would reach the destination of this journey in about two days.

It was a Two Stars System that was more than a hundred light-years away from Yan Jia's original body.

A peculiar Two Stars System, different from the neighboring one around Yan Jia's main body.

Perhaps Yan Jia's will exists not only within the white Golden Crow, and traveling beyond the speed of light did not make Yan jia feel anything wrong. There was no perceived time gap as imagined.

The will has always been continuous, without any delay.

The night passed in silence, until the Sun began to rise.

Bang.

Yan Jia's door was forcefully pushed open, and Ke Qi walked in with large strides, ready to take Yan Jia out to play.

Yuan Runn had already been pulled up by Ke Qi, and now only Yan Jia was left.

By the time Yan Jia finished getting ready, and the three of them had finished breakfast, there were already quite a few people at the "End of the Demiplane." As for yesterday, they arrived a bit late, and everyone had already gone back, so there was only the scene of the three of them at that time.

The current situation was normal.

In front of Yan Jia and the other two, several young people of similar age stood in a row, each striking a pose, facing the light wall motionlessly.

Yan Jia took a closer look but couldn't understand what they were doing.

"Ke Qi, why did you drag me and Yuan Runn here early in the morning? Can you tell us now?" Yan Jia turned to ask Ke Qi. He had already asked once on the way, and Ke Qi almost said it the first time but then seemed to remember something and didn't say it in the end, only telling Yan Jia that he would know later.

Boom.

Behind Yan Jia, a large firewall suddenly ignited, and pure white flames soared into the sky. Under the reflection of the flames, the shadows of the three people on the ground constantly twisted and deformed, resembling demons.

The clothes on their bodies rustled as they were blown by the fierce wind brought by the soaring firewall.

With a wave of Yan Jia's hand, the flames were extinguished once again, and a black residue from the flames that had risen to the sky fell from above. After bouncing on the ground a few times, it rolled to Yan Jia's feet.

No matter what the original purpose of this residue was, it couldn't be used anymore.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?"

Several people who were originally facing the light wall also walked over. The flames that had soared into the sky just now were rising behind them, and a few droplets of sweat had already appeared on their foreheads.

A person walked out of the crowd and picked up the black residue on the ground, which was burnt by the flames and unrecognizable, under Yan Jia's gaze.

"What are you doing? Why did you burn my Frisbee?"

The person who walked up to Yan Jia seemed slightly older than Yan Jia. Yan Jia's attention was drawn to the slightly smaller pair of horns on their head.

"Hao Yu, Hao Yu, it's our fault. The frisbee almost hit them just now. Let's not bother them."

One person hurriedly ran up and held the other person back, who seemed quite "plump" and looked like there was a turtle shell stuffed inside their clothes.

"Sorry, sorry, we didn't expect the frisbee to almost hit you. Sorry about that." While apologizing to Yan Jia, they quickly pulled away the person who had just come over to blame Yan Jia.

"Yan Qing, they were the ones who burned our frisbee. Why are you apologizing to them? They haven't compensated us yet. Let go of me quickly."

"Compensation my ass, you almost hit someone in the head with the thing you just threw. Zhao Hao Yu, consider yourself lucky that they didn't demand compensation from you. Now hurry up and leave."

"It wouldn't have been a big deal if it hit someone. That frisbee was brand new."

"I'll buy you another one later..."

The rest of the conversation was carried away by the wind, and Yan Jia couldn't hear it clearly anymore.

Just now, Yan Jia felt something flying toward his head from behind. Reflexively, he shot a burst of flames into the air and sent the object flying upwards.

Later, after Ke Qi explained, Yan Jia understood that the people earlier were playing a frisbee game.

They would throw the frisbee with force at an angle towards the light wall, then a few people would stand in front of the wall, assuming a fixed posture and not allowed to move, waiting for the frisbee to fly out of the light wall again. If they got hit by the frisbee or moved, it would be considered a loss.

The game mainly relied on luck.

Unexpectedly, they didn't hit any of the others but almost hit Yan Jia instead, resulting in the newly purchased frisbee being burned to ashes.

After saying that, Ke Qi somehow pulled out a similar frisbee from somewhere and just stared at Yan Jia without saying anything.

Yan Jia tried to throw a few times, and each time he used the same amount of strength and the same angle, but the direction, angle, and force with which the frisbee came out of the light wall were all different.
