C14 The Tea-house Disturbance
The sun and the light, the breeze.
Ten thousand miles of white clouds rolled around like a heavenly army. The war drums were beating, and the enemy was being defeated in an instant.
Under the sky, there were pedestrians and carriages on the road. There was an ancient city on the wasteland, but it was bustling with activity.
The group of people slowly walked on the ancient road. A dozen or so people surrounded two beautiful carriages and followed them.
Over a dozen of them were carrying weapons. Their eyes were full of vigilance and fierceness. Apparently, they were all martial artists who had been through life and death battles.
In front of the group, there were two big men walking in front of the vehicles. They seemed to be the leaders of a group of people.
On the left was a bald man in his forties. He had a beard and a strong face. He wore a black suit that tightened his muscles. One look and you could tell that he was an expert who had trained his martial arts to a certain level.
The person on the right was also a big man in his thirties. His black hair was disheveled, which matched his messy beard. He looked like a man who had been through a lot. His eyes were as sharp as knives. Behind him, there was a big knife. It was about seven feet long, and the blade was shining under the sun. It looked cold and shiny. The handle of the knife was long, and it gave off a bloody smell. Apparently, this man was good at using knives. He looked like a man who had been around for a long time.
As for the rest of the people, they followed the two of them and walked around the two carriages. They were all dressed differently, but all of them were giving off a strong, invisible killing intent.
Suddenly, the big man on the right raised his right hand and signaled the people behind him to stop.
After that, the big man did not say anything. The bald man on the left looked ahead and then turned around. His footsteps were heavy and steady as he slowly walked to the two carriages. He cupped his fists and bowed, lowered his head, and said to the two carriages: "Reporting to the Second Young Master, the Third Miss, six hundred meters ahead is L City. Should we rest for a while before entering the city?"
There was no sound from the two carriages. The drivers of the carriages slowly drew back the curtains, and then a man and a woman stepped out.
The man looked to be in his twenties. He was dressed in a long, white silk robe, with a crown of green feathers on his head. He had sharp eyebrows and a pair of bright eyes. His face was clean and clean, without any beard, making him look extremely handsome. He was smiling as he looked around, giving off the air of a young man from a big family.
The woman was dressed in a red dress, with a black cloak and an exquisite dagger at her waist. She looked about seventeen or eighteen years old, and although she couldn't be said to be kingdom-toppling, she was an absolute beauty, and her watery eyes were filled with charm.
There was a hint of red on her face, and on her red lips and eyebrows were three phoenix hairpins that were stuck into her bun. There was a special charm in her cuteness.
The man and woman looked around. The man moved his lips as if he wanted to say something. The woman in red took a few steps forward and arrived in front of the bald man.
Those big and lively eyes moved, and they shook the big man's hand with a slight grumble as he said to the bald man, "Uncle Hou, we are not far from L City. Why did you stop? Hurry up, hurry up. I am exhausted after these few days of travelling!"
The big bald man didn't say anything. He just smiled at the woman and turned his head to look at the man in white, as if asking him what to do next.
The man in white smiled and looked at the tea shop. He pointed at it and said: "Uncle Hou, we must be tired after such a long journey. There is a tea shop ahead of us, and we can have a sip of tea there and rest for a while before we go into the city. What do you think?"
Hearing this, the bald big man secretly nodded his head and revealed a trace of praise in his eyes.
The bald man then cupped his fists and said, "Everything will be as young master says."
After he finished speaking, the bald man turned around, raised his right hand, and shouted at the crowd: "Brothers, everyone has worked hard, and the L City is more than six hundred meters away from us. The young master understands us, so he specially told us to go to the tea shop in front of us to rest for a while before entering the city!"
"Thank you, Young Master!"
"Thank you, young master!"
...""
... The crowd cupped their fists and thanked the man in white.
Seeing this, the woman in red's expression changed. She pouted at the white-clothed man and said bitterly, "You're always the one who acts like a good person ..."
"Haha ..." The man in white smiled noncommittally.
After that, the group of people walked towards the tea shop.
When they arrived at the tea shed, they saw a man running out of the shed. The man was skinny and had a yellow face. It was obvious that he was a waiter.
The waiter came out to greet them with an attentive look. He said with a smile on his face, "Hey, gentlemen! Please come in and have some tea to relieve your thirst!"
The man in white nodded to the waiter, and then the others followed him into the tea house. They looked around and didn't find anything wrong with it.
However, he saw a young man sitting by himself, drinking tea in a corner of the tea house. He didn't seem to care about them at all.
The man in white didn't know what to think. He frowned, and a trace of doubt flashed across his eyes. Then, without looking at him again, he found himself a seat and sat down with the woman in red and the two men in the lead.
"Bring me all the good tea you have here. Hurry up. We are all thirsty." The man in white ordered the waiter.
The waiter, who was also an intelligent man, could tell that the party was not a simple group of people by their appearance. He made a discreet sound of assent, and then hurried off to make tea, in case he should not serve it well and cause any trouble.
After the waiter had left, before they could stretch their bodies, they heard footsteps behind them. They turned their heads and saw a dozen or so men with various weapons slowly approaching the tea shop.
The man in white narrowed his eyes and stared at the man in the lead with a serious expression. He said with a slight helplessness in his voice, "It's someone from the Zhao family. The one leading them is Zhao Kang. Enemies really meet on a narrow road."
"Second brother, when did you become so cowardly? When has our Su family ever been afraid of the Zhao family?!" The woman in red lightly slapped the table and reproached him with some dissatisfaction.
"Little sister, it's not that Second Brother is a coward. You should know what time it is right now. We'll talk about it after the Mist Gathering, understand?"
Seeing the man in white say this, the woman in red immediately pouted and did not answer. She gritted her teeth and lowered her head in anger, not saying a word.
"Oh, isn't this the second young master of the Su family, Su Gui, and the third sister of the Su family, Su Mei'er? What a coincidence!" The leading man in embroidered clothes said in feigned surprise.
Everyone from the Su family ignored Zhao Kang. Immediately, Zhao Kang's smiling face slowly retracted. Gradually, his face became a little cold as he said coldly, "Chen San, I want to have a good chat with the siblings of the Su family. Go and chase those who are unrelated out!"
"'Yes, young master!"
After he finished speaking, a man in his forties suddenly walked out from the crowd behind Zhao Kang. He was dressed like a servant.
Chen San slowly turned around and looked at the young man sitting in the corner of the tea shop.
"Hey, that brat over there, what are you looking at? It's you who are talking about. Our young master doesn't like people with nothing to do with him. Hurry up and get lost!"
The youth glanced at Chen San indifferently, then turned his head away without any interest. He continued to drink his tea, turning a deaf ear to everything.
Seeing this, Chen San glanced at Zhao Kang and saw him wave his hand. He immediately understood what was going on. When he turned his head to look at the youth, his eyes were full of anger and anger as he strode towards the youth.
Su Mei'er's face became extremely angry when she saw Zhao Kang and the others acting in such a manner. When she saw Chen San walking fiercely towards the youth, she finally couldn't hold it in any longer. She suddenly stood up and was just about to stop Chen San's footsteps when she felt her right hand being pulled back.
When she turned her head, she saw Su Gui looking at her seriously. He held her right hand tightly, shook his head slightly, and said in a deep voice: "Little sister, don't cause any trouble. This has nothing to do with our Su family!"
"But, second brother, they ..."
"Little sister, have you forgotten the current situation? Sit down!" Su Gui said sternly.
"Humph!" Su Mei'er was so angry that she sat down angrily.
"Third Miss, you should listen to the Second Young Master. After all, now is not the time to be fighting with the Zhao family." The big bald man advised Su Mei'er with a worried expression.
Hearing this, Su Mei'er's face revealed a trace of unwillingness. She looked around and noticed that although everyone couldn't stand the Zhao family wreaking havoc and no one else's actions, for the sake of the overall situation, they all secretly clenched their fists and endured it.
Su Mei'er sighed helplessly and looked at the youth with a trace of pity in her eyes.
He saw that Chen San had already walked to the table where the young man was sitting, and fiercely said: "Stinking brat, how dare you ignore me? I'll give you one last chance. If you don't want to die, then quickly kneel down and kowtow to our young master. Our young master is magnanimous, and will naturally let you go. Otherwise, hmph, don't blame me for being merciless!"
The young man raised his head, glanced indifferently at Chen San, retracted his gaze, and slowly stood up.
"Hahaha ..."
When Chen San saw the young man stand up, he thought that the young man was scared by his threatening words. He couldn't help but raise his head and laugh out loud.
But after laughing a few times, Chen San naturally felt that something was not right. When he looked down, he saw that everyone was staring at him as if he was an idiot. When he turned around, he saw that the young man had already turned around and was walking out of the tea shop.
Seeing such a scene, the anger in Chen San's heart immediately rose, and he was no longer able to suppress his temper.
The brat in front of him had embarrassed him twice in succession, and it was under the orders of the young master. How could this not make him furious?
"Stinking brat, you refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit. Third Master, I'll cripple you right now!"
The veins on Chen San's arm bulged, he clenched his fists, and with a few steps, he arrived behind the youth. His iron-like fist struck towards the youth's back.
At that moment, when the people of the Zhao family saw this, all of them revealed a cold smile and a cruel expression. They had seen or done this kind of scene nearly every day, so there was nothing strange about it.
All the members of the Su family looked at the scene in front of them with cold expressions. Only Su Mei'er's eyes revealed a trace of pity and sadness.
Just when everyone thought that the young man was going to die, Chen San's iron fist was already three inches away from the center of his heart.
Suddenly, the swift and fierce arm trembled and actually stopped. It was as if it was restrained by something and could not move at all.
It was also at this moment, before anyone could react, Chen San's face revealed extreme fear. His left hand tightly grabbed onto his right arm, but Chen San tragically discovered that his left hand seemed to be stuck to his right arm, unable to move.
"What's going on? Thin Monkey, go and take a look!" Zhao Kang snorted with a gloomy expression.
"Yes sir!"
Another person walked out from the group of people from the Zhao family. He was as thin and weak as a monkey and it was impossible to tell how old he was. He was walking towards Chen San and the young man with a playful expression on his face.
...
"I say, Chen San, you are really a f * cking trash. You can't even deal with a brat. Let your Grandpa Monkey help you, hahaha ..."
As he spoke, the lean monkey moved a few times and arrived behind Chen San. When he looked at the latter, he looked at him with undisguised disdain.
However, even though he despised him, the fear and unease on Chen San's face did not escape the skinny monkey's eyes. With a few turns of his eyes, he had a plan.
There was something strange about this kid!
The thin monkey seemed to have discovered something, and his face gradually became serious as he said: "Brat, your grandpa monkey is sorry!"
After that, the skinny monkey raised his short arm, and his five fingers instantly formed into a three-clawed shape. He raised his hand to his temple and, with a weird roar, he summoned his True Qi and charged toward the youth's claw with a sharp gust of wind.
