C15 Sixteen-year-old Breeder!

Outside the Battle Pet Tomb.

Corey yawned in the relic room, his gaze fixed on the motionless relic gate. He continued to browse the Pet's Home forum, his fingers scrolling idly.

He was also drafting an article about Symas's recent ascent to a black iron 1-star beast tamer.

Of course, he had already updated Symas's profile in the Pet's Home database. It wouldn't be long before the Beast Tamer University, always on the lookout for new students, would catch wind of it.

He even planned to use his Pet's Home account to break the news. Not only would it create a buzz in Littlewell, but it would also boost his following and amplify the Littlewell Beast Tamer Association's clout.

A win-win situation.

At that moment.

Six hours had ticked by.

The thick gray-black fog at the gate of the Battle Pet Tomb began to roil, and out walked Symas.

"Just as I thought," Corey mused with a smirk.

What use was time if obtaining a pet from the Battle Pet Tomb was supposed to be so straightforward?

"Holy cow!"

Corey, who had been lounging nearby, caught sight of the Charmander trailing Symas—muscular as a young bull, with a menacing dragon head and a pair of sickle dragon wings folded on its back. He gasped and leaped to his feet.

"A fire-type dragon pet!"

"Black iron one star."

Corey's surprise was palpable as he approached the Charmander, his face a mask of astonishment.

"Symas, how on earth did you manage this?"

He stood before the Charmander, his eyes wide with excitement.

A dragon pet, no less, and a fire type with formidable attack power!

Among its peers, a dragon pet was nearly an invincible force.

"Wisdom," Symas intoned, his voice low and enigmatic.

"Wisdom, my foot," Corey grumbled inwardly, irked by Symas's smugness.

"To think, you just concocted two perfect-level potions, and now you've snagged a dragon pet from the Battle Pet Tomb."

"Heaving a sigh, Corey lamented, "It's maddening how some people have all the luck."

"President, I actually have a way to tell if there are pets inside those stone eggs!"

"Hmm?"

"Really?"

"Absolutely. Take a look."

With that, Symas gestured toward the Charmander at his feet. The little dragon cooperated, letting out a low growl and exhaling a stream of hot air, which lifted the hem of Corey's robe.

"What's your point?"

"I'll sell you the method, even if it means taking a bit of a loss myself. One billion federal coins!"

Symas spoke with a look of anguish, as though he was indeed incurring a significant loss.

"Get lost!"

"Also, you should keep your dragon pet under wraps for now. It could bring unwanted trouble. Merely being a breeder draws attention, and with a fire type dragon pet like yours, you could be inviting serious problems."

"I'll circulate news of your fire type dragon pet within the Beast Tamer Association. Naturally, those from Farhaven University will be in the loop too. This is your leverage. The better you perform, the more resources you'll have access to."

Corey's tone turned grave as he continued.

"President, could you spare a sound transmission snail?"

"After all, I am considered a prodigy in Littlewell. If the Dark Order ever targets me and I can't fend them off, I'll need to call for backup!"

Symas looked at Corey with a hint of desperation.

That's why he didn't leave a phone number.

The Dark Order members weren't idiots; they carried signal jammers, rendering phones useless in a fight, nothing more than dead weight.

"True."

Corey produced a sound transmission snail, no bigger than a baby's palm, shaped like a seashell and tinted a soft pink.

This sound transmission snail was a support-type pet that could be used without a contract, typically part of a parent-child pair.

Symas now held the child snail, while Corey had its counterpart. In case of danger, Symas could use the snail to call for help.

"Thanks, President."

"Don't mention it. I'll announce your new status as a breeder on the forum using the Pet's Home account."

"When the time comes, you can bet a slew of folks from Beast Tamer University will be vying to recruit you."

Corey remarked.

"Ah, fame does bring its share of troubles."

Symas shook his head, lamenting.

Corey's expression soured as he recalled the perfect level potion and the fire type dragon pet that had emerged from the battle pet tomb, growing increasingly irate with each thought.

He ended up sending Symas packing, but not before Symas managed to swindle a robe from President Corey. It wouldn't do to have the Charmander strut about conspicuously, but a black robe would conceal its true form nicely.

Once Symas had departed, Corey wasted no time in posting an update to the Pet Breeder Association's feed, a move sure to be noticed by his 900,000 followers.

Practically everyone in Littlewell was tuned in to his channel.

Ding!

In an instant, all 900,000 of Corey's followers received the notification.

[Littlewell's own sixteen-year-old pet breeder, Symas, has done it!]

In the upper floors of a commercial building, within a pet potion company, a casually dressed woman with long hair caught sight of the Pet's Home post and was taken aback.

"A sixteen-year-old pet breeder!"

"He's made a splash!"

"He must have just wrapped up the summoning ceremony. I wonder if he managed to summon a battle pet."

This long-haired woman, part of the company's marketing department, instantly recognized the potential for a lucrative deal.

Symas was bound to become a sensation. Securing a contract with him could drive tremendous traffic to their company.

In a mere ten minutes,

The post had amassed over half a million views, rocketing into the top ten trending topics in the Littlewell district.

The news spread like wildfire.

The most astonished, however, were Symas's classmates from Littlewell High's third class. Once the news reached them, they were abuzz with excitement.

They all knew Symas,

The one who consistently topped theoretical exams in their class.

To their amazement, Symas had not only completed the summoning ceremony but had also earned his breeder certificate.

That certificate was his golden ticket to the elite Beast Tamer Universities!

Naturally, the buzz was just starting to build.

With Charmander in tow, Symas hailed a taxi and made a beeline for his home in Valengor Residence.

Shortly after Symas's departure,

a falcon, standing 30 centimeters tall with a wingspan of nearly a meter, soared from the rooftop of the Beast Tamer Association. It swiftly caught up with Symas's taxi, its keen eyes scanning the surroundings. A metal ring from the Beast Tamer Association was secured to its leg, pinpointing its location.

This was the elite 7-star battle pet, the Gale Falcon, dispatched by Corey to safeguard Symas. Renowned for its unmatched speed, it could unleash Cross Wind Blades and attack with gusts of wind and sonic waves.

In the ranks of elite 7-star battle pets, the Gale Falcon's combat prowess was unquestionably near the top.

At that moment,

on a building across from the Beast Tamer Association, a burly man draped in a black windbreaker fixed his gaze on the taxi carrying Symas, as well as on the Gale Falcon above. His smartphone displayed a forum post about the sixteen-year-old breeder, Symas.

"This is getting interesting, quite the enigma!" he murmured, the brim of his cap casting a shadow over his intrigued smile.
