C17 Bone Blade Bone Spur Bone Armor!
Harnessing the power of the Void Territory, the parasitic battle pet known as White Bone on Symas's right hand merged into his body. It transformed into a white fluid that seeped into his limbs and bones. In a flash, intense pain surged through him in waves, causing Symas to grit his teeth.
Unbeknownst to him, the fusion process with a parasitic battle pet would be so excruciating. It was as though his very skeleton was being shattered and replaced with new bones. With a thud, Symas collapsed to his knees, his gaze falling upon a small gold nest a mere two meters ahead.
Driven by an overwhelming yearning linked to the parasitic battle pet, he struggled into the small gold-type nest and propped himself against the side of a dark, golden-hued hill about four to five meters high. As soon as he entered the pet nest, a platinum-blond mist, rich with pure metal attribute power, rose from the dark golden rocks and enveloped him. Symas's body absorbed it all greedily.
The process of bonding with a parasitic battle pet often requires an abundance of pet attribute resources for a successful fusion. Failure not only risks harm to the battle pet but could potentially leave the tamer severely disabled. Symas had formed the contract impulsively, without prior research, thanks to the influence of the Void Territory.
It was a stroke of luck that he had constructed a small gold pet nest; otherwise, the fusion would have undoubtedly been a disaster. As the platinum-blond mist continued to emanate from the rocks and into his body, the pain vanished, replaced by a sensation akin to being caressed by gentle, warm springs, bringing immense relief.
Eventually, exhaustion took over, and Symas drifted into a deep slumber. When he awoke after some time, his body was tingling. He rose and stretched, feeling significantly lighter—as if he had shed dozens of kilograms of weight. Clenching his fist, he threw a punch.
Whoosh!
The air tore with the sound of his swift, forceful punch. "After all, it's a parasitic battle pet," he mused. "Surely, it's done more than just improve my physical condition."
Symas pondered.
After all, who knew how many eons had been sealed within that stone egg? Upon awakening, it possessed one star of battle power.
Symas attempted to communicate with the White Bone sphere.
The connection was immediate.
A flood of information poured into his mind. Now that they had established a battle pet contract, he could finally access the details about the White Bone sphere.
Nickname: Remould Worm
Quality: Nine-Star Elite
Attribute: Gold
Level: One Star
Parasitica Skills: Lv1 Bone Blade, Lv1 Bone Spur, Lv1 Bone Armor. (Skills unlock with level advancement.)
"Nine-star elite quality, just one star shy of reaching the overlord level. This is a huge win!"
"I need to figure out how to extract another elite quality pet from the battle pet tomb at the tamer's association."
With the attributes of the White Bone sphere now clear to him, Symas's eyes sparkled with excitement.
But considering the battle pet's ranking, could that large White Bone sphere actually be a worm?
After the battle pet contract was formed, the White Bone sphere collapsed, dissolving into a liquid resembling bone and merging into his body.
He had witnessed it all with crystal clarity.
Perhaps the White Bone sphere was a nest for the remould worm, with the worms being as minuscule as cells.
Symas was only speculating, but his guess was likely very close to the truth.
If he could advance to the overlord level, he would be able to use psychic force to investigate further and possibly see the true form of the remould worms.
"Parasitica skill, Bone Blade!"
Symas connected with the remould worm.
Puff!
The next moment, a ghastly white bone blade sprouted from beneath the skin on his right leg. Nearly half a meter in length, the blade's edge gleamed coldly, appearing incredibly sharp.
This would make movement awkward.
Could it be adjusted to a different location? The bone blade, much like a short sword carried on one's person, would be best situated on the arms.
Symas deactivated the skill.
The half-meter bone blade on his right leg retracted seamlessly into his skin, leaving no trace of a wound.
Even his skin had become noticeably fairer after the transformation.
Next.
Symas shifted his focus to his right arm.
"Bone Blade!"
Puff!
Beneath the skin.
The half-meter bone blade materialized once again.
It required precise control, demanding his full concentration on a single point.
However, this skill had a drawback.
It was tough on clothing.
Just now, two slashes from the bone blades had torn a large hole in his pants. Luckily, he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt.
His pants were a lost cause and needed mending.
After Symas experimented with other White Bone skills, he removed his shirt and pants, setting them aside.
"Bone Spike!"
Puff! Puff! Puff!
Beneath his skin,
a series of bone spikes emerged, each nearly twenty centimeters long with a noticeable curve.
Without his attention focused, these spikes sprouted randomly across his body.
Once he concentrated on his right leg, ten spikes jutted out from the area.
A single whip kick could devastate an opponent with these.
Furthermore, by concentrating the spikes at a specific point, they could also serve a defensive purpose.
The final lv1 skill was bone armor.
Beneath his skin formed a thin layer of bone armor, encasing him in a protective white skeletal shell.
Unbeknownst to Symas, while he utilized the remould worm, his pupils had turned a stark white.
Should an overlord-class expert probe with their psychic force, they would detect countless tiny White Bone Crawlers converging within the depths of Symas' eyes.
Additionally, his vision had improved significantly.
"Hu!"
After adjusting for a moment, Symas exhaled a deep breath.
The remould worm required a replenishment of metal attribute energy, especially after deploying the bone armor, which was the most energy-intensive.
Once depleted, the energy could be swiftly restored within the confines of the small gold attribute pet nest.
The replenishment was quick.
The psychic force also bore a considerable strain, necessitating careful management of the bone blade, spikes, and armor.
Symas was aware of the vast potential for growth within the White Bone Crawler.
Yet, with his current level of psychic force, he could only manage these three parasitic skills.
They were his greatest battle power, second only to his Charmander.
Within the Void Territory,
the growth of both Witchwood and Featherweed was accelerated significantly, thanks to the blessings of the pet nest.
The Witchwood has reached 69% completion, while the Featherweed is halfway there. The rate at which they're advancing is nothing short of astonishing!
In just two more days, they'll both achieve the one-star level.
When that happens, Symas' battle power will surge yet again. Should a black iron or even a five or six-star tamer come looking for trouble, he'll be more than ready to hold his own in a fight.
