C8 Black Iron 6-star Remex Spiritual Plant!

As dusk approached, Symas made his way directly to the Velociraptor Pet Shop, a subsidiary of the McKinney family's conglomerate. The shop's signboard featured a ferocious Velociraptor, baring its teeth and claws—a dragon-type battle pet hailing from Orithyia's prehistoric Jurassic era. The resemblance was uncanny, and thus the name Velociraptor was bestowed upon this breed of dragon-type battle pets. Subsequently, many dinosaur battle pets reminiscent of the Jurassic period were unearthed from ancient pet relics.

Armed with a gift card from Baegla, Symas knew it was time to leverage it to swiftly bolster his strength. The stakes were high; revealing the existence of his Charmander after emerging from the battle pet tomb could attract unwanted attention from the Dark Order. Having additional means to confront adversaries was undoubtedly advantageous.

Upon entering the Velociraptor Pet Shop, he was greeted by an array of holographic displays showcasing the mature forms of various battle pets, thanks to the Light and Shadow Grass technology. Below each hologram, detailed descriptions of the pets' aptitudes were provided. The actual eggs weren't on display, as they were specially preserved under unique conditions after being retrieved from the relics.

Symas strode in, casting a cursory glance over the pet holograms before heading straight for the counter. He presented the black-gold gift card that Baegla had given him.

"Welcome, distinguished guest!" greeted the attractive woman behind the counter, clad in a sleek black uniform. Her demeanor warmed considerably upon seeing Symas's black-gold card.

"Do you carry the Remex Spiritual Plant?" Symas inquired.

"Yes, we do," she replied. "You're in luck! Just three days ago, our store received a six-star black iron Remex Spiritual Plant baby. With your black-gold card, you can redeem it at no additional cost."

"Furthermore, our store will provide you with a piece of Breathwood soil, which can enhance the growth rate of the Remex Spiritual Plant by over 20%," she added with a smile.

"Black iron six-star aptitude? That's the one I'll take," Symas decided, satisfied. His mission was accomplished—he had come for a support-type pet, and that's precisely what he would leave with.

It would be ideal to have one skilled in speed, so that in the event of an ambush, a swift retreat could be made with ease.

Ultimately, the staff from the Velociraptor Pet Shop even dispatched a special vehicle to deliver a one-meter diameter piece of Breathwood soil to Symas's home. That slab of soil tipped the scales at 50 kilograms. Despite the benefit of double strength, handling it was still somewhat challenging.

Nestled within the Breathwood soil was a Remex Spiritual Plant baby, roused by the spiritual liquid. Resembling a ginseng, it was ten centimeters in length, pure white, with two green streaks on its back, reminiscent of scars from a blade.

The Remex Spiritual Plant is a companion to wind type pets. Upon ascending to elite status, these pets unlock the "Remex" ability, allowing them to conjure a pair of windfeathers for gliding. Some Remex Spiritual Plants even possess offensive skills. Such black iron 6-star support pets are exceedingly rare, likely only a handful exist in all of Littlewell City.

"Claimed."

Once the Velociraptor staff had departed, Symas confidently carried the Breathwood soil into the Void Territory.

This time, the Remex Spiritual Plant didn't join the small fire type pet hive like the Fire Vine and Charmander had.

"Ding! Detection of a wind type pet baby. Would you like to spend 200,000 federal coins to construct a level 0 miniature wind type pet hive?"

"There's a level 0 miniature hive too?"

"That'll be 200,000 federal coins! Everything costs money!"

"Damn!"

"Construct!"

"The Remex Spiritual Plant needs to grow up quickly."

"Ding! Funds deducted, construction underway..."

Boom!

The earth trembled once more beside the small fire type pet hive. The ground fissured, and a massive floating boulder, roughly ten meters in size, emerged, hovering a meter off the ground.

The boulder was topped with a layer of soil, which upon closer inspection, revealed numerous shards of wind spirit stone. The entire boulder was crafted from a colossal flying stone—a material of exceptional value, even if this particular flying stone was only of black iron grade.

However, even a flying stone no larger than a fingernail could enable a wind-type battle pet to grow from a mere few stars to one or two stars.

This alone demonstrates the immense value of the flying stone.

The colossal flying stone that Symas acquired for 200,000 federal coins was undoubtedly worth over 100 million federal coins.

Approaching the stone, Symas placed the Remex Spiritual Plant upon it and conducted a property scan.

Name: Remex Spiritual Plant

Grade: 6-star black iron

Attribute: Wind

Level: 0

Skill: Small Wind Blade

Enhancement Skill: Flying Feather Step (speed boost of 3 to 4 times)

Similar to the passive skill of the Charmander, this enhancement skill affected the pet owner as well.

Typically, without a special method to fortify the soul, a black iron level beast tamer could only form contracts with up to three pets.

Elite beast tamers, upon elevating their pets to elite status, could strengthen their owner's soul and double the number of pets they could contract.

Naturally, maintaining a larger number of pets was a substantial financial commitment.

Standard elite beast tamers tended to keep four pets, selecting different ones to arm themselves according to their own strategic needs.

Upon advancing to the Overlord level, the number of contractible battle pets could double again, allowing overlord level beast tamers to contract up to nine battle pets.

Divine level beast tamers, while capable of contracting more than ten pets, were less concerned with quantity and more invested in the prowess of their singular divine level battle pet.

Activation of these pet skills required at least a one-star level.

At this moment, within the Void Territory, Symas had three pets. Yet, only the first, the Fire Vine, imparted a slight sense of burden on his soul.

The Charmander and Remex Spiritual Plant elicited no such sensation, but a profound sense of kinship emerged as they entered the Void Territory, as if a power beyond the soul contract was binding them together, creating a telepathic connection.

Symas surmised that this must be the influence of the Void Territory.

"If this is the power of the Void Territory, then perhaps there's no limit to the number of pets I can contract."

"An infinite number of contracted pets?"

This startling notion flashed through Symas' mind, leaving even him astounded.

If true, it would be outrageously extraordinary!

He could easily envision it: with the combined might of over a dozen pet skills at his disposal, he could transform into a veritable War God. The prospect of going on a rampage against a Lord-tier monster, with his human form no less, wasn't out of the realm of possibility.
