He spun around, summoning the power of his Martial Soul, and launched a flurry of attacks. The leading mutated beasts fell dead in an instant.

But more of them kept coming, relentless and unyielding.

"No, these are just the rank-and-file mutated beasts. It's the ones behind them pulling the strings!" Yu Kun realized as he spotted two particularly formidable beasts at the rear of the pack.

Yu Kun first executed the Shocking Wind Step Style to evade an incoming strike, then swiftly performed the Vajra Worshipping Moon technique.

The Human-snake Beast nimbly sidestepped the attack. Despite its lack of limbs, it moved with astonishing speed.

The Dog Beast, however, wasn't so fortunate. Yu Kun's palm strike reduced it to a pulp, killing it instantly.

Before Yu Kun could savor his victory, the Human-snake Beast issued a piercing howl.

Yu Kun watched as its form swelled massively, and a colossal snake tail came sweeping toward him. He deployed the Shocking Wind Step Style in response, but to no avail—he couldn't escape the assault and found himself ensnared.

The Human-snake Beast attempted to crush the life out of Yu Kun, who quickly channeled the power of his Leviathan-roc Martial Soul to counter the crushing force.

"I've got to improve my Movement Technique—it's just not cutting it anymore. If I make it out of this alive, I'm heading straight to the library to train in the Martial Arts," Yu Kun vowed silently. Without missing a beat, he summoned his Astral Energy and unleashed the Great Vajra Palm. But the Human-snake Beast was already on the move, effortlessly evading Yu Kun's strike.

Upon witnessing the scene, Yu Kun couldn't help but curse inwardly.

"The Great Vajra Palm is just too slow. Where's my third-grade martial art?"

Without hesitation, Yu Kun retrieved a third-grade martial art from his Leviathan-roc Space and handed it over to the system, swiftly following it with several Spirit Stones.

"I need three days to master the Origin Yang Finger Technique!"

"I need to master it right now!" Yu Kun snatched up another handful of Spirit Stones and fed them to the system.

The system's effect was immediate. In a flash, Yu Kun had mastered the technique.

Though it was only a third-grade martial art, it proved to be significantly faster than the Great Vajra Palm.

Instead of relying on the palm technique, Yu Kun channeled his Astral Energy and formed the Origin Yang Finger Technique.

The energy flowed, and the technique materialized instantly. A streak of force shot from his finger, striking the Human-snake Beast squarely.

To Yu Kun's astonishment, the Astral Energy pierced right through the giant serpent.

"Can a third-grade martial art really be this powerful? Even with the enhancement from my Leviathan-roc Martial Soul, it shouldn't be comparable to a fourth-grade martial art!"

After pondering for a moment, realization dawned on Yu Kun.

I hadn't noticed before because I hadn't taken any action. But now, having confronted a mutated beast, the true might of my martial arts has been unveiled!"
