Global Radiation

The world faced its greatest challenge yet when a strange disease started to run amok amongst the populace. Those who got infected became horrifying zombies that hunted and killed humans. Cities and towns were devastated, the world order was in chaos and humanity’s hope of survival was diminishing every second. That was when the world powers decided to use nuclear weapons to wipe out the zombies in an event which was later known as the great purge.
The great purge was successful, but it brought another challenge to the world, radiation. The radiation stripped food from the land and only allowed humans to live in small safe zones. It also cause some animals to mutate into ferocious magical beasts but some humans also gained special abilities and were then referred to as Evolvers.
The middle aged hunter known as White was such an Evolver. He was the strongest human in Protected Area No.64 and was responsible for hunting prey in the wilderness. One day he met a skinny boy in his teens who doesn’t seem to remember any of his past. White took the boy in to give him a safe place to live. Although he never cared much about the boy’s origins at first but as the days went by, he noticed the mysteriousness of this boy and started to wonder what his real origins are.
