“What is this?”

His curiosity piqued, Su Yi stepped forward and took a closer look.

The Demon Suppressing Tower had existed since the beginning of time, but no one really knew much about it.

And while Su Yi did not recognize what was written on the tablet, he couldn’t shake off the feeling that it carried a great significance. After pondering it for a while, he decided to leave.

He went on to kill more Ferocious Beasts, but they were all Herculean Snow Apes.

That meant that his cultivation base was no longer increasing. At this rate, he would only waste his time.

Just as Su Yi was preparing to leave the Demon Suppressing Tower, however, he spotted a Ferocious Beast floating in the air just a few feet away. It was the size of his fist, and its body was emitting an incandescent, blue light. Judging by its slight but rhythmic bobbing, Su Yi figured that the creature was asleep.

“What kind of beast is this?”

Su Yi held his breath and tried not to make any noise as he sized the creature up.

Even before the Ferocious Beasts began invading the borders of Blue Star, books had already been written to record them and educate humanity about their strengths and weaknesses. The academy’s library itself housed numerous bodies of literature detailing these creatures.

But Su Yi had never seen or heard of the Ferocious Beast floating before him.

After a few moments, he began to slowly inch forward.

It didn’t really matter what it was. He just needed to touch it, and he would gain its ability. He was on a roll; he certainly wasn’t going to back down now.

Before long, Su Yi was standing directly below the Ferocious Beast. Bracing himself, he raised his hand and touched it.

The second he made contact, the creature disappeared.

Right on cue, the system’s voice sounded in Su Yi’s mind.

“Host has touched the ancient Ferocious Beast Divine Roar. Host has successfully extracted Eye Technique: Comprehension Eye.”

Comprehension Eye... If he remembered correctly, this ability would enable him to crack any codes or foreign language in existence.

When engaged, purple light would shoot out of his eyes, and any bit of knowledge that it touched upon would be processed and stored in his mind forever.

It was said that the higher a warrior’s cultivation was, the faster their comprehension speed would be.

And if, by chance, a certain cultivation technique was damaged, the Comprehension Eye would enable him to patch the knowledge back together within the safe confines of his mind.
